I love the Thunderbirds. They're my favorite airshow demo team, but unless you see a Viper Demo you can't get a full appreciation of how awesome the F-16 still is after all these years.
Agreed. My favorite part of any airshow are the demo teams presentations. For some reason you can feel and hear so much more from those power plants and, the moves are just more impressive.
Well F35 is very worthy successor to it. And lets be honest F35 is superior in every way as 5th gen fighter, after a difficult start its now quickly becoming as numerous and as popular single engine fighter as F16 was before it

@@vaishanthVEVO well everyone knows dogfights are things of the past. The whole idea of modern airtight and especially with F35 is to take out enemy from afar without even getting seen on radar
Long time since I last saw a live demo of an F-16. Dutch pilot at RAF Finningley, threw the bloody thing around the sky! Forgotten how nimble these little sods are in "clean" configuration...!!! 😂 Nice demo, really enjoyed it, thanks for posting.
@@bt_the_yank6234 Theoretically, sure. The Air Force still flies both of them but the F-22 and F-35 get most of the attention these days. They are planning to buy F-15Xs so that may lead to a team years from now, but right now there's no talk of it.
I'd imagine those F/A-18 pilots looking on are a bit awestruck and maybe a bit jealous. Their Hornets just don't have the deadly bite of a Viper!! Although, both are awesome fighter jets..
LOL, not likely. Deadly bite? The Hornet has the ability to carry a wider variety of weapons then even the F16. Not too mention has NOSE control through out a merge!
Both of the jets are spectacular and have incredible abilities along with the amount of weapons that they hold. Even though F/A-18 can most likely hold a little more than the F-16 doesn't mean that. However you can't base how great the aircraft is just on the weapons. The F-16 is an incredible aircraft.
@@moseskelly2886 I base it off my 8 years in a F18 along with my mock experiences against F16s. 75% of the time the Hornet comes out on top of the F16 unless the Hornet driver makes a fatal flaw on the merge.
There are currently 4 of us, but most of the video comes from Ryan and Dave who are both in the Midwest. Ricky is near the East Coast and Anthony is on the West Coast. Occasionally we travel to special shows outside of those areas, like our trip to Yuma earlier this year.
this aircraft is so good, that when Israel wanted to sell off some 40 years old surplus vipers to Croatia, the US military still said....HELL NO! still too soon baby! I love the fact that my country ( the UK) still has the chops to produce ( in European cooperation) our own top drawer kit,but I would have been very content if we'd just bought,or built under licence the f16 fighting falcon.

The Demo F-16 Falcon still retain their M61 Vulcan Cannon and Radar. The Thunderbird Falcons have their cannons and radar taken out.
