4:30 LOL did the audience really boo at the mention of De La Cruz? That's awesome. I would've done the same.
why?
I would have too lol
why?
RyanChopperTV Watch the movie CoCo you'll understand why people would boo Ernesto De La Cruz.
Darling Waylon Park Same :>
it makes me so happy to see mexican culture celebrated like this! and the fact that the performers were mexican too
I couldn't agree more! Representation is sooo important! ❤🇲🇽

I need this in the Mexico pavilion at Epcot, like yesterday
Agree! 👍
I'd love for them to replace the Three Caballeros boat ride with a Coco ride tbh
Yes, Florida needs this show! 😁
@@batmenace15 I have thought about that too! I think the Three Caballeros are nice. But a Coco ride would be beautiful. I love Coco.
I worked at the Mexico Pavilion for a year, right before Coco came out, such a wonderful movie!
For people working $15 and hour, they deserve a lot more for what they put forward.
Something tells me that the major performers like this get paid more than, say, a ride operator cast member, or someone running the cash register at a food vendor/restaurant.
They are not getting $15 an hour minimum wage yet and correct some get more and some get less just like any other company.
They should be payed 100$ per hour
For some perspective, here are 12 jobs that actually pay $100 an hour: www.jobmonkey.com/jobs-pay-100-per-hour/
Also, the past tense of pay is "paid".
They actually get paid less
That puppet is both adorable and creepy.. but I’m more curious, why no Hector?
So many likes.... I feel loved! 😅
They would never get his movements right. Have you seen how he often casually dismantles himself in the movie?
Mark Sommerville good point... I can dream though.
Maybe to make up for it is the narrator guy?
por fovor el hector? habla espanuol
I think the narrator is hector?
Anybody else think we could use more puppets like this in the park?
Surface Swim Productions 100% yes!
A Pinocchio puppet would be amazing!
Mekayla7 OMG LILO AND STITCH YASSA I LOVE YOU!!!!
May be Elsa and Anna
Not sure why but I get SUPER emotional whenever I learn about Mexican culture. Like I'm crying right now....
7:27 Miguel !
That Puppet of Miguel is Cute ! ^_^
I wanna go to Disney California Adventure and meet Miguel
I hope Miguel gets to be at Disneyland
@Onyx Crystalz The Lambling
Haha and I would say "Awww" if I see Miguel at Disneyland
@Onyx Crystalz The Lambling same
the puppeteer is cute too ^_^
@@maryanneayumi9594 I agreed with you ^_^
Thanks for sharing. Some of us will never be able to see this. I think it’s very cool and the puppeteers do such a great job. Hope they include Dante too one day.
The movements are so lifelike!!! It seems like they have a speaker or button in the Miguel puppet to do the voice actors rolling r scream too for scripted parts! Super cool technology coming in!!
Nina Dees no it’s just a sound track the the actor has to time it right. Lol I’m sure they probably practice it before they preform live.
@@disneyfan6268 Yes left hand controls the mouth and eyes, right hand plucks the guitar. And the performer is probably left handed, otherwise it should be a pain to control it with the weakest hand.

Hi
The first two dances are in the style of Jalisco, Un poco loco is a huapango in the style of Veracruz.
@@badideabearcub2747 Me refería al baile propio al estilo Mexicano.
I've never seen a body puppet like that. Those are really neat! I'd love to see more!
They have one like that for Olaf in Disneyland, and the musical for Lion King. It's very impressive
David Perez yeah I've seen those ones haha! I guess I should have clarified the ones that are full body like the skeletons, those are new to me!
@@LaughOLott there's this guy on TH-cam who used to do puppets like that quite some time ago (but obviously they're not as well designed), his name is Christopher89-something (if you just search Queen of Hearts puppet you'd probably get it). You're probably not interested in all this extra information haha, but I couldn't help myself
As, the beginning of this video 😍 I love when you see a cast member having fun dancing to the music at work and stuff! It’s so great!
The main guy is seriously talented
They should rly have a Pinocchio puppet for meet and greet
they do, he wanders around fantasyland sometimes
Zachary Mleynek no, i mean an ACTUAL Pinocchio puppet like the Miguel puppet
Yeah, but remember, this is Mexican and Pinocchio is Italian.
Avi Greene and how is that relevant? I’m talking about how Disneyland should have a puppet like Miguel and have Pinocchio instead.
I'm saying that both are good ideas, even though each are different cultures.
I always think puppets are creepy, but this Miguel is actually adorable!!!
Jajajajajajaj
Lo
Why do you think they are creepy?
It’s kinda adorable but I think that it has makeup it looks like it has a lot of makeup
Yeah. And almost looks so real. Almost
I want to know who is the talent that plays Miguel the puppet? Very exceptional!!!
I hope you seen the movie and know why hector is not going to work as a puppet
Remember how many times he casually dismantled in the movie?
Unflipped Table true, but at the end he was fully restored and just because he CAN dismantle doesn’t mean he’d need to be able to
RIGHT😂😂😂

Que
why don't they have this at the Mexico pavilion in Epcot? doesn't make sense...
Surely because they have to believe that it ruins Disney's reputation due to the ugly image they have or have to believe about Mexico; Crime, Economy, Cleaning.
Sorry? first of all, in Mexico you do not put on that kind of thing because what you see is just a stereotype of mexico, I know that the film investigated well the Mexican culture and customs about the day of the dead, but nothing.
Second, we do not care about the image of a park like that, we do not put those things because we're not ridiculous, there are ways to show the Mexican culture in ways more beautiful than that.
Finally, I ask you please do not speak of mexico if you do not know, you look bad and you only show that you are just as uneducated and talkative as your president
@BeaVic the fact that you're politicizing this is sad... I don't care for the president but I love Disney and I love this movie, I live near the theme parks and would love to see this at Epcot and enjoy it just as they do in Disneyland.
@BeaVic and @Jose you're right I'm not Mexican but I'm from Guatemala and we share many traits of our cultures and we celebrates these days as well. For you to say that this is ridiculous is your way of being selfish for something that brings joy to people, and maybe this might actually motivate some of those tourist to actually travel to Mexico or another Central American country. if you have never been to Epcot which I hope you have you'd see that many people who work there are actually from Mexico and therefore they deserve your respect for representing your nation, also I would hope you see how they have represented your nation in the pavilion, food, museums, etc... if you haven't been to Epcot then I suggest you don't judge without having any information about the park and calling it names without knowing how much fun it brings to people from around the world. Gracias por leer.
I do not see it for a reason of selfishness and as such the comment was not for you, but for the girl who answered your comment (bea vic), if I know and I saw that the dancers are Mexican and that does not bother me, on the contrary , it's a pride to see that.
the reason why I wanted to comment was because of the other person's comment, since it seems wrong to me to speak without knowing all the current situation, and I really do not have any problem with using things like the traditional charro suit or the suit of the typical Veracruz dances, it bothers me that mixes the political trash with the cultural richness
Everyone boos at the mention of del la Cruz (did I spell it right?). This is what happens when you do this kind of thing set before the events of the movie
*De La Cruz
Spanish for "Of The Cross"
I was on my shift for Pixar pier today and sneaked off to watch this performance since I never got the chance to see it. When they sang “Remember Me” my eyes began to water and I immediately left before guests wondered what was wrong with that cast member. I ruined my chance to see it all bc my Grandfather came to mind and when I heard the song in the movie it hit straight to my heart and memories of him. Came to watch this video and I’m a mess. I’m glad every year during fall they bring this beautiful show for all to enjoy and connect to.
So cool! Surprised they aren’t doing anything yet at Disney World like this
Esto es en Disney World
holy shit, it's miguelito!!!!!
I wasn't sure if it would be good or not, but it was surprisingly well done!
1:19 "...is Connor. I am the Android sent by Cyberlife."
The way he says that sounds so much like Bryan I'm a little shook
So creative!! I hope this come to WDW, even though a lot of shows like this are a Disneyland only thing
Holaaaaa algún mexicano por aquí..
looking at the puppet i have only 1 thing to say, OH MY GOD THE DETAIL, the pants have a hem, the shoes have not just laces but eyelets as well, hell the pants ARNT straight cylinders like how must puppets shoe jeans, these ones have creases and bends built into them. This thing sits right at the edge of the uncanny valley, but its still amazing to look at from a builder perspective

Se ve curioso Miguel
This was really well done.
I'm loving it, between the Mariachi & the Puppet it really mixes the Movie and Musical well! The Mariachi is so talented and animated with a great voice! Bring it to Disney World Please!!
He looks adorable
The character is Mexican, but the puppetry technique used to bring him to life, is Japanese.
I seriously need to know how they make these puppets! It’s incredible!
Where the hell is Hector ! 🤨 amazing presentation by the way. 👍🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Am I the only one who thought of El Guapos birthday bash in the 3 Amigos with the music at the beginning? Great video and thank you for posting :)
You're not the only one.
Yup! They both play Jesusita en Chihuahua, a very popular mariachi song
Can someone tell me if this is year round or halloween or...?
7:41 for the people who wanted to skip and see the puppet first, here you go

They should have the puppeteer dress like hector so that it doesn’t look so weird to have a strange man standing behind him
Why didn’t they have a real boy play Miguel? The puppet is cute, just wondering

we all know the story i watched it about 5 times because my little sister likes it:D
At first when I saw the Miguel puppet, I was think to myself, "...are you freaking serious? Disney is doing a puppet routine that doesn't look that great?" But when the other puppeteers came out with the women skeletons, it toally worked, lol. Otherwise I would have been thinking through the whole thing "cringe...".
Wait till' my grandma hears about this...
I'm excited because I'm going there in April to compete. I'm might get to see see it when we compete in California adventures.
Nosotro somos mexicanos y tu tedes son Estado Unidos 😡😡😡
I love wacting coco its my fav movie ever!!!!!

Un poco loco is by far my most favorites song now :) :D 🥰
I’m not going there tomorrow I’ll see or do you wanna go get me the phone or I do not get the payment from my car I

It’s the same design for the Olaf puppet it’s so cute I can’t I want one.
Coooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooollllll
The little Miguel puppet is so cute 😍❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
aaaaaaaa jajaja
I love how Disney celebrates different cultures within their films and parks ❤
That was cute.~ I love Coco, I’ve watched it five? times thanks to Netflix. xP
I like how the Guest Flow is dancing along at the beginning 😂😂😂
