Mind blown putting that welt way down there! I guess that is really where it has to be if you are gonna keep the footbed/sole. You have great skills (respect) and do some crazy things to make your customers happy!
Very impressive craftsmanship, you even went the difficult route of not using gemming. However, even as a German it hurts a bit to see shell used for birkenstock style.
Curious about this as well. Craftsmanship looks great, but is the cork birk midsole not an (relatively to the leather aspects) short lived aspect that would need to be replaced? With all the quality put in below and above it, I wonder how difficult a midsole replacement would be on these.
The approach to making shoes has not changed it doesnt matter what hi-tec equipment you have, a last is still a last hammer nails etc ... what you fail to see is that the techniques hes using and the materials means this version of a birkenstock far exceeds that of the inferior brand original. Just the fact he uses a goodyear welt elevates this shoes beyond anything birkenstock produces. And i would bet they are super comfortable (after breaking in) and will last infinity longer.

Cordovan Birkenstock?! Ohhhh, to have a disposable income to have such a splendid thing!
Now THIS is a pair of Birkenstocks I would love to own, amazing work as always:
Holy smokes that is amazing. Seems like the toe is a big more substantial, but i love it
Oh trust me it's QUITE substantial...
Come le mie...lavoro stupendo !!! bravo
I will need to save my pennies so I can buy a pair. I am absolutely impressed by the craftsmanship.
very clean look..some break in time i imagine!
Definitely!
@@GoodsandServicesHow much would it be to sole swap a pair of Homage to home Jordan 1s??
Vans KNU SKOOL, hope to see a video of the process of customizing Vans shoes
Leveled up Birkenstocks
Is it exhausting staying so lit?
😂
The tape on the glue well is the smartest thing ever!
What was used to keep the buckle attached?
What kind of lining did you use? I couldn’t tell. They look fantastic. As an apprenticing cobbler, I really appreciate and love your videos. Cheers!
I would love a pair of these!
Bro just created indestructible birkenstocks like it’s nothing
Ma non costa meno prenderle nuove?
Un trabajo muy superior a las que venden las tiendas de esa marca.
Excelente!
Aesthetically not for me but the craftmanship is 100%
But, why the canned cork filler with the massive Birkenstock footbed?
Awesome!!!
They look like they would be as stiff as boards. But utterly amazing.
How do you order a pair of those shoes?
Ye souil cutting ke machain ap bata de how much price
What is the function of filling that thing? Can someone please explain?
So there are no gaps, when glueing the sole on
Perfect!
😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
U guys should make Tabi’s from scratch!
This is so sick bud 😮. What did you charge for this?
Strab to planks of wood to your feet, and you get the drift
Very impressive craftsmanship, you even went the difficult route of not using gemming. However, even as a German it hurts a bit to see shell used for birkenstock style.
😂
respect
В данном исполнении выглядят как летние Унты.
超级棒很喜欢❤
Thats how normal Birkenstocks shoes should look for the price you paid! But no, we get those boring BShoes
I guess if you’re into amazing stuff. 🤷♂️
Very heavy
I have only one question. Why? Birkenstock insoles definitely doesn't have life expectancy that would justify all this goodyear welted design.

Amazing
Muy buen trabajo. Pero es un desperdicio para un producto so ugly!
Non fai prima a comprartele nuove?😂
I see that the machines are modern, but the approach to making shoes is not modern. this is very stiff and uncomfortable I'm sure.
