Why can't you just admire a skillful newcomer and admit he has massive potential? Also, the whole bump and run style is heavily penalised in the V8 Supercar series he raced in, so it's counter intuitive to suddenly be allowed to do that. I think that kind of racing is very cool and suits his style, so he will adapt very quickly. It's only cool when it's done without trying to wreck the other guy though, and respect to the guy that beat him today, he did it legit. It's OK for people to like SVG. Not sure why it triggers you 🤔

@@jabber1990 I like road courses over ovals, what can I say. I'm old enough to remember the race at Riverside, California, when it was the season opener. I find the Roval at Charlotte really fun to watch because the brakes on these hunk of junks aren't made to stop these cars at all after 50 laps.
This was a heck of a race, tons of action and bunch of great moments, including a heck of a finish. Probably one of the best RC races of the next gen era
Between both Atlanta races, Bristol, Kansas, both Darlington races, Iowa, New Hampshire, Nashville, Chicago, Indy (for me personally), Michigan, Daytona and now the Glen, this has been by far the best season of NASCAR I’ve watched since I started in 2016.
@@TheSaturnV They always do. They seem to learn and improve when “road course ringers” come in. I don’t understand why those same ringers can’t adapt to ovals when that’s what they mainly run when coming to NASCAR. They do get better, but rarely do they improve as much as the NASCAR drivers do on road courses when a bar is set.

I dont get why NASCAR calls cautions so stricly even at road courses. Like half the time nobody even gets stopped on the racetrack so why call a caution, caution should only be warrented if a car is stopped on the track for more than 25 seconds in my opinion, that or there is really bad debree or oil on the track or some damage to a barrier or smth.

Never thought id see the day where a road course has higher attrition than the super speedways. Between that and strategy calls, please make this the championship race over the Phoeinix snoozefest next year. Or at the bare minimum change the venue every 2 years.
I don't watch NASCAR... Probably still won't. I tuned just to see how Montoya did because I am a long time F1 fan... Having that said, NASCAR engine sounds are just amazing. Kudos, all open wheel racing seems to be going backwards regarding engine sizes, types and sounds.
If they don’t want these cars to overrun the curbing perhaps they should consider improving the handling on the road package instead of adding more hazardous infrastructure to the track.
NASCAR all tracks are awesome but Watkins Glen and Sears point are my two favorite tracks the drivers have to know exactly what they're doing or crash.
Ross Chastain dominated the race🍻🍉🇺🇸 that one caution got Ross and SVG a little behind with fuel and tires but still were able to pull off great finishes.
