Finally, I get she was lonely and Hep was absent, answer for that is: you're a Goddess, go help other people as in (get a job/do your job) or start a book club or something
1. Zeus has much more self-control than people give Him credit for. He's not some mindless beast. 2. The point of the marriage was to prevent feuds over who got to marry Her. This technically still worked. Unfortunately, no plan ever works entirely if people don't play along. 3. You're not necessarily wrong. However, what kind of story would it be if everyone just openly communicated? 4. There is indeed a Moon Goddess. Her name is Selene. However, as far as I can tell based on the ancient literature, Selene isn't necessarily as all-seeing as Her brother Helios. Why? The Moon has phases so isn't exactly always "present". Or at least that's what I would guess since Helios' ability to see all is because He is literally the bright thing in the sky every day. 5. You have to understand that as the kind of deity She is, Aphrodite can't just deny Herself passion. When the other Goddesses are depicted modestly, She is depicted proudly nude. She gives Herself to many lovers. She is the mother of all life and Her joy and passion are as boundless as the waters She emerged from. She can't just sublimate who She is. The Gods aren't people like you and me.
