Tia made it clear that Tamera’s wedding was not a priority for her but she felt left out when she saw the other girls doing a bridesmaids job. Definitely selfish.

Exactly. Tia should've left home in the morning, but no. She left in the afternoon and made so many stops along the way, arrives late in the evening when everyone else was able to get to the place on time before the big day. You can't use pregnancy as an excuse for this.

I'm actually proud of Tamera in this moment because Tia has a tendency to treat Tamera like she's a child or incompetent. They have a good relationship. TV can amp things up a lot, but Tia can be rather selfish when it comes to Tamera.

Tia wasn't getting it and she was being selfish. She wanted Tamera to stop on her wedding day and be like "Where's Tia? Go get Tia. can somebody find Tia," and nobody is doing that on their day. Tia could've easily put her pride to the side and went to Tamera on her own but she didn't. Like she said, she saw Andrea and Keisha fixing Tamera's veil, well why the hell didn't you go over and speak to your sister then? The day isn't about you, nobody is about to go searching for you.

Naw you’re wrong. If you grew up 33 years with somebody and share everything including the same dna, you should probably clue in to think “where is my twin sister who shares everything with me including my fame and celebrity.” Its Not like Tia is a half step child on the father’s side twice removed. They share the same dna and are a duo. And even if Tia was late, she’s a pregnant twin sister. She has first right before all of the friends and bridal party to be a apart of at least that wedding day. There’s no way she should’ve gone through everything and not had Tia there. If Tia being there was important she would be asking every three minutes where is Tia. But she didn’t and subsequently when Tia got there, nobody rushed to grab her and bring her in.

She probably knew Tamera was upset already and didn't want to ruin her wedding morning by having Tia gaslight Tamera like she did in this very clip. Andrea did what a maid of honour is supposed to do: keep the day centered on the bride and keep the bride calm.
People need to be careful when it comes to venting about family members or significant others to friends. Because friends don't love your family the way you do and some won't forgive your family as easily either.

Tia stepped down and told Tamera to make Andrea MOH, then wanted her spot back, tried to give Tamera an ultimatum. tried to make Tamera's wedding weekend her baby moon, showed up late to wedding events and Tamera still let her be the maid of honor.

To be honest as someone who is planning a wedding and happen to be a bridesmaid for THREE other girls in the same year- I 100% get Tia’s sentiments. All of those feelings are real and valid. We should be grateful that she was being vulnerable and giving us the authentic, genuine problems on this reality TV show. That story can’t be staged. Do you know the funny thing is as much as I agree with you on this 1,000,000% I would trade just for a few months not a lifetime but I would trade this for a while to know what it feels like for a sibling to get mad that they’re not spending time with you, because I have to beg my siblings just to spend time with me. But if I did always have my siblings to spend time with and then when I did something with someone else, and they got mad, I will get annoyed too but I don’t have that issue. Mine is the complete opposite.

I think Tia can't or won't really grasp the idea of her being selfish and wrong in any situation because Tamera will at some point relent and say "well I get she had this or I get she had that going on..." Once you make you point, stand on it. Tia is a big girl, she will be okay. She won't break if Tamera learns to be more stern and direct. But that's what happens with twins or even siblings dynamic. You have that one sibling that is always the peace maker or the one to reach out and the other sibling becomes used to it so they never really feel they were ever wrong.

What I don't get is why she agreed to help her sister knowing she couldn't half of what she needed her to do. When you agree to help someone you should follow through with it not show up late, not communicate with the person, and then you can't even do half of what's needed and have the nerve to wonder why the person is upset with you. I notice that Tamera is the only one who has maintained childhood friendships whereas Tia is out here friendless & husbandless. I sound harsh but it’s very telling over who is able to keep relationships vs who isn’t able to maintain them.
@A C no lol “many ppl” do not outgrow every single relationship they have. That is a major personality flaw if you are unable to maintain long lasting relationships. The only ones I see of Tia’s are her siblings. No one else. Tamera has made 3 new sisterhood friends within the last 5-6 yrs bc of a job opportunity hosting the Real. Tia has worked with many ppl herself and yet I never see these ppl call her a friend, hangout w/ her, or even go to one of her kid’s birthday parties. I am not judging, I am making an observation. I mentioned I sounded harsh because sometimes the truth is harsh.
These two reminds me so much of my sister and I. We were once very close until I realized that we re close because I don't stand up for my self to her, I don't say no, to a point where she thought she could control me. Everything has been always about her, conversation ends up being about her. I will tell her something or open up to her and she won't remember because it ended up being about her. The wedding wasn't Tia's finest moment. You cannot use your pregnancy as a reason for being selfish when there are 2 important things going on. Her sister's wedding was just as important as her pregnancy. You can't expect your sister, in her wedding day to be focused on where you are. That's too much.
I actually understood where tia came from here and kudos to both sisters for being able to respectfully articulate their feelings. Tamera is the compassionate one while Tia is the selfish, self-centered twin! This clip told me all I needed to know about Tia. I have a sister just like her that will take any siutation and turn it around and make EVERYTHING about her. It's nerve racking. I see now what Tamera has been putting up with her whole life with Tia.

Growing up Sister Sister was my all time favorite show. It’s crazy to see glimpses of their characters in them. Love both, but I always gravitated to Tamera
I watch this all the time & honestly, tia was extremely selfish throughout this entire show. not just during her pregnancy. it's evident that she's the dominant twin & I feel that's played a part in their lives as kids and it spilled over into adulthood. I'm glad Tamera stood up to tia & spoke her truth.

How does Tia not realize that being late as hell (2hrs) revokes her right to call Tamera selfish in this circumstance. The show must go on, and a wedding is one of the most important events in one’s life.
Tamera is better than I because I would’ve politely told Tia it wasn’t her day so she needs to stop with the “me me me” nonsense. Being pregnant made it so that she wasn’t capable of being maid of honor or doing much of anything else to help so Tamera got people that could help and Tia seems to feel like Tamera needed to check in with her regarding HER wedding 🫠🫠🫠. So to me, this shows a long history of selfishness and gaslighting that has gone unchecked on Tia’s end, and was probably inflamed with the support she got from announcing the divorce.

At the time, she was navigating new motherhood, quickly moving to Atlanta,,and figuring out how to drop her pregnancy weight in time to film The Game. However, I found it very odd how ONCE AGAIN, Tia honed in on another one of TAMARA'S honorable moment to "replace" TAMARA'S very HUGE book RELEASE DAY to announce HER divorce, when there were 364 other days to do so?🤔... I'll wait ⌚ 💅🏾this seems like a global episode of me, my, and I.
I recall having to peel my ex-female siblings, egg donor (mother) and ex-so called friends of 25 plus years away from me, due to these very coy tactics 🙅🏾♀️
I can also recall how Tia would scoff at Tamara's way of dress, which is far better than hers in MY opinion, in fact she seems to be picking up some of Tamara's old choices, I see. She laughed when her fans mocked Tamara's desire to marry Adam...cream in her coffee and how her children would look, she downplayed it at their therapy session as Tamara expressed her vulnerabilities and fears of her overly aggressive behavioral/ responses to her difference of opinions. SHE "Tia" CRIED, became theatrical, ACTED as the victim, and continued on as the normal Tia. She ALSO ALLOWED her husband to treat her sister and family the way that is alleged because HE SAW and KNEW that he COULD no doubt, by following HER lead comfortably. IF this is in fact true...🤨🥺💔
I love and am one of Tamara...just because HER love IS healthy and isn't BLACK love doesn't make her any less right or abused by narcissism too.

My sister did this to me on her wedding day I was 18 she made me the maid of honor not knowing what to do because I’ve never been in a wedding I felt excluded I tried a few times. Even she should have guided me in some sense or her best friend . my mom knew it too. I asked my mom on how to be proactive even her best friend didn’t even help me out I felt embarrassed left out . There where some things that she should have communicated us with but didn’t. My mom still to this day will say it. I ended up leaving each event early because I had no idea what to do. Also it was my senior year of high school as well I missed homecoming a few other events in my life too that she got to go to. Overall communicate . It helps to this day I don’t even talk to her because if more issues I refuse for the fact she now tries to be nosy where she doesn’t fit in. So I say this I’ve also been in friends weddings where it was a great time. No drama just fun. Try to include family members even if you don’t think you are doing it you could be leaving someone out.and it will effect their mood. Even if you are busy pair them up with someone especially if you come from a big family
If you have sisters you know how it gets. Tia wanted to very much be and feel apart of Tamera's wedding. Sometimes you just want to hear your sister say I need you by my side. I love these ladies.

Tamera was very patient with Tia. Tia was selfish. I had the same thing dealing with my sibling. Some people are just so immature in their ways of thinking. I blocked her after her rudeness. I dont tolerate negative emotions. It just doesn't happen. No contact with someone who starts drama and blames
I feel like the same thing goes with the Kardashian sisters like how Kim was always in a self centered mode and never thought she was selfish when Kourtney (older sister) called her out on it. It’s like the younger ones never see the wrong😂. But as a young sibling my self I’m more resembled to Tamera soft spoken and caring. But the gaslight is crazy coming from my favorite twin Tia.

I think Tamara got Tia’s point. She told Tia that it wasn’t her intention to make her feel left out but Tia didn’t make the wedding a priority until the last moment and felt left out and blamed Tamara which wasn’t right.

The only time I agreed with Tia.
I am such a Tamera and my mom is a Tia. Right down to the annoyance of Tia's inattentiveness and how Tia talks to Tamera sometimes. Tamera's like I need you to work on how you speak to me. Some people aren't as sensitive and don't have patience for that, but yeah, I resonate with Tamera's sensitivity a lot.
This show told EXACTLY who Tia is. It is weird how Tamera is so sweet and giving and Tia is pretty damn narcissistic and EVERYTHING is about HER!! Flash forward to her me, me, me "divorce tour" 2022. I'm sure living with her was a blast 😳

I totally understand Tia. It happened to me as well. People who are Not family should understand that Family wants to be there in those special moments. They should stop blocking and give the phone to the bride to decide who she wants to see. It’s very hurtful to block a close family member. You can Never get that special moment back.
If you want to be there, you are there. Tia totally distanced herself from this wedding and then wanted peoole to cater to her
@@lamoskgrthanks for your input. I feel that being 👯♀️ you would want to be near each other on all your special days. Since Tia felt like she wasn’t healthy enough to do much, She should have taken on some smaller parts like making the treats for the bridal shower. At least did what she could. On the special day they should have communicated early and often.
I hope Tam understands it would have been different if she wasn’t pregnant. At least I feel that way.

@@Torfordor I remember that. My discernment tells me her divorce announcement on that particular day was impromptu due to finding out something damaging. I felt like she was trying to get ahead of the media to save face, but I could be wrong. Announcing it on the same day, was a very cringy situation and it did overshadow the book release somewhat. Perhaps she should have called Tam and told her what was going on and one of them change their announcement date? When it comes to matters of the heart, through prayer, God will reveal the truth and only He can change a person but they have to be willing to change. Since Tia is now a single parent, she really needs her sister’s support to help her through this trying time. Communication about how each other’s reactions made you feel, showing empathy and forgiveness is needed.

Tia can’t be held accountable for anything. Trying to blame her bad behavior on her pregnancy. And what was her excuse when you announced your divorce on the day or her sister’s book release? It’s crazy it took for her to get divorced for people to see how unhinged she is. I always peeped her energy, even as a kid watching sister sister. I always knew her husband wasn’t it either but people were so blinded by “black love” just for her to get divorced and confirm everything I knew to be true about her marriage. I probably was one of the few that wasn’t shocked when they got divorced but yes Tia has always been the mean spirited sister. I mean I love them to death but they’re not that great of actresses. You can kind of feel the energy Tia exuded when doing scenes with her sister especially when they became older. And for the people who are so naive and think they planned her announcing her divorce the same day Tamera’s book was released, then why didn’t she also promote her sister’s book? People who think this clearly lack discernment. My personality is very similar to Tamera and I totally get trying to be nice and stay out of conflict when people try to treat you terribly and walk all over you.
