    the first instrumental guitarist to excite me since Vai and Satch. you have to pick the right notes. it’s no good being fast and technical (for me) if there’s no melody. i must have played this a thousand times. went to see them on my own.

    These guys play great live but terribly boring stage presence lol

      I agree. I saw Plini and Intervals open for Animals As Leaders I believe it was in like 2017/18 ish. I think Yvette young was there too maybe. I didn't really know Intervals or Plini at the time. But I remember thoroughly enjoying Intervals on stage. They were joking and goofing around on stage throughout songs and just thoroughly having fun. When plini came I remember thinking it had gotten bland and it was certainly less interesting. And that's kinda held through their music since then. I find I still find the fun playful vibe of intervals in there music, and all respect to Plini, he is incredible, but I don't get that same vibe in his music.

      Yea I thought the same when I saw em at Monalith in Melbourne TBH. They engaged with me cos I love their music but they had zero stage presence

      This is highly advance music who cars if they are not jumping around listen to the music majority of musicians cannot do what they are doing

      @regularjack2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      @@yngsamson you may as well just listen to it over loud speakers at home. Almost no point in them playing if they’re boring to watch and don’t move. FTR I love these guys but watching them just stand still onstage isn’t that interesting
