    I'm eagerly awaiting the k390 version.

    I like Spyderco knives, have 4 or 5 of them. They are great user knives, pretty solid for EDC tasks. Not really a fan of FRN either, and they should have put a deep carry wire clip on that one. I just picked up a Kapara a few weeks ago and that has been my EDC for about a month...love that thing, and came sharp as hell.

      The kapara looks like a great blade

    Hey Jarad, nice video! I've been eyeing up the stretch 2 in k390. How do you feel it would stack up against the Gayle bradley 2 in your opinion? Thanks!

      I love the gayle bradley 2, but it's got almost no detent which drives me nuts. And I had to modify mine to get to the lickbar, But I don't think you can go wrong with either, k390 and m4 are incredible steels and both knives have great platforms. But because of the lockbar access and no detent I'd recommend the stretch, unless you get the gb modded then I'd go GB

      @@NeevesKnives really appreciate the reply, thanks! Really don't mind doing some modding on the GB, but it's true the micarta does bump the price which is already higher. I have been really wanting to try out some seki k390! But also loove the more dressy/worker hybrid of the GB. Maybe I'll go with the stretch for now and keep an eye out for a GB. Cheers man

    Good review. If I had won it I would say sharpen it just to be sure that if any part was burnt it would be reduced or eliminated. Not sure why they keep getting rid of good designs.

      @NeevesKnives  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      So true and it probably is burnt, i notice some people will think a steel is chippy when its not its just burnt after a great or good sharpening it stops doing that

    Not the biggest Spyderco fan but this one seems pretty cool. I like the simplicity of it and seems like a great edc blade. Great review 👍

    I got it for 94 bucks when it came out, great blade! I'm seriously thinking about getting some custom micarta scales and a deep carry pocket clip for it!

      That sounds sweet, what color or kind of micarta?

      @@NeevesKnives there's this guy that goes for Suingab on IG, he makes amazing custom scales for all kinds of knives (the stretch included), I might get an OD Green Micarta with Boba Fett's symbol on it

    Love my Sprint run stretch 2. I died mine dark green. and that little indention in the lock is known as the Boyd dent. its to prevent accidental disengagement.

    This time last year they were $100 on eBay and I almost got one but didn’t. It reminds me of a PM2 back-lock. Now I want one again!! Lol

    • @NeevesKnives
      @NeevesKnives  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Its very similar to a pm2, i feel like its a bit slicier though hard to say without a pm2 available, guess I could just check the difference in the spine thickness, but its a knife i enjoy using

      Neeves Knives The Knife Beater did a review back in January 2019 comparing the two. He said that it was 3mm thick

      The blade shape is very similar to a pm2 but it's thinner. I like mine I just wish they would have used better steel.
