Hi I m from India ..I have seen many videos regarding fish bowl natural setup but I must tell you I have never seen anything like yours ...you are amazing and I could not control myself to write comment on your best video ever...thanks for sharing such a mesmerizing and eye soothing video of your fish bowl setup...
By far one of the best video edits I saw on TH-cam. This video is amazing and I save it to my favorites playlist to watch over and over. You are amazing
Beautiful! I get that your videos aren't really "how-to" vids but will you consider mentioning a few more details? Such as how long you waited to add fish and if you have a little filter or heater in there?
hello, may be a bit delayed, I have the same tank, about as planted if not more, I waited about 3 weeks, then realized I didn't like the look so I drained it keeping the water level at the soil to preserve the bacteria in it, then rescaped then refilled, I don't know if this hindered the cycling or not, but one week later I went to get the water tested and it came back clear of ammonia and nitrites with a little bit of nitrates, so it was basically cycle, so basically it took me 4 weeks, I've yet to add fish I will in a week but I'm sure I can add them now if I wanted to.
I couldn’t find a 10 gallon bowl, but here’s a 15 gallon bowl which is beautiful as well www.amazon.com/biOrb-CLASSIC-Aquarium-LED-Light/dp/B000FLCMQY/ref=sr_1_4?keywords=10+gallon+fish+bowl&qid=1581048165&sr=8-4
When planting plants in an aquarium, it is suggested that you use special substrates. Super expensive ones, that are supposed to help plants grow. Or you can use nourish, an additive for the plants. Which is what my brother does, and he just buys cheap aquarium sand and a clay substrate. His tanks are doing fine. Substrates are around $20 per 10lb bag. I was like, I'm going to put together a cheap little tank. Then I watched pro aquascaping videos.....$700 later!....LOL! Aquariums are NOT cheap! These places that charge $20 for a large aquarium, know exactaly what their doing, cause after you buy that, you're forced to buy 500 other things from them! 😂
Really amazing wonderful Guppies & Beautiful Betta Fish! What kind of Guppy trades are they because they so unique & cool looking? What a nice big bowl! Now that’s what you call a useful bowl for smaller fishes, shrimp, snails, fries or other small underwater animals. Now if people want to use a bowl, this is the kind they should really use. Just don’t cramp it up to many fishes only.
With the amount of plants, they can act as filters, but it would of been better if he had a thicker substrate layer because that is a way to make a successful no filter tank
Great bowl man! I just purchased a 9 gallon bowl and am preparing to scape it. I'm curious if you ended up using a filter or if the plants are enough to take care of it all.
@@craigbloomfield527 I actually found it used on marketplace. There is a company that sells globe vases, I think it's called WGW Vases. They have a website and if I remember correctly they have a 15 gallon vase.
hey, great vid! did u use any filter or heater? how often do you change water? what type of fishes can i abbine with a betta fish? id love to get more then one but idk if two females of betta for example would get along well. Waiting for an answer
Oh wow, absolutely stunning! This is the only way a fish bowl should be made! Ps. do you not have any issues with the guppies attacking the betta? I had a female guppy that killed the male and shredded my betta fins.
@@DevonThomas1204 it's daughter was equally as vicious. They're both dead now, which I know isn't great, but I'll admit they were both terrible problem fish.
For me it was opposite my male betta used to flare and chase my female guppies even though they were just innocently swimming i could never think that guppies could kill the betta
@@shxb9194 The guppy didn't kill my betta they just completely destroyed his fins. He was an expensive black dragon halfmoon male so had amazing fins. The female guppy killed other guppies, not the betta. Although I bet she would of killed him if she had been allowed to stay in the tank with him any longer.
There is different strains of guppy. What you need to do is buy a purebred strain that has the traits you want. That way the males and females babies will have the same traits. It's tempting to mix strains and types of guppy, but that only makes a mess of traits and you lose the wow factor over many generations of free breeding.
Those are crossed with endler's livebearers, a fish closely related to guppies. Its actually pretty irresponsible, they're extinct in their native habitat.
I always afraid about fish bowl, it's very thin and fragile compare to regular fish tank, I had one before but it was broken easily when I tried to clean it... But you sure make it to beautiful aquascape!
I love it when people use fishbowls properly!
Lol ikr
Me too, take a look at mine?

In the right size, they are probably the most beautiful type of aquarium. The circular shape makes plants and fish look bigger
Azaan Shaikh me: I keep a betta in a bowl
Facebook activists: FISH ABUSE!!!!!!
Me: did you even look T how big the bowl was
Dude, your cinematic really enjoyable, keep up!

Sick transition from your radio into the shot of the store, really clean tracking and masking.
Woah, these Bettas ... They're so whimsical. I never saw any fish that would come even close to these exemplars in any fish store.
Such a therapy for me. Calm an relax
Amazing! I cant believe this bowl is strong enough for this!! Wow super cool
Wow, where on Earth did you find such a massive bowl? I can only find three gallons!

@@belle369 that's not actually 15 gallons, its 4 gallons but 15 liters. Kind of confusing 😅

I love the setup. Thank you for treating your betta right!!💖💖
Hey, I'm just wondering what kind of mix you use for the dirt/sand substance in the bowl. Great video by the way!

You can use normal gravel and put aquarium safe root tabs in
I love it when they post
You throw water everywhere in the pet shop 😂
Do more these stuffs. This is very good
Please tell me you have a heater hidden in there?...Bettas need a water between 76C - 82C , Beautiful bowl BTW.
Thanks! I do you can see the cord at the top of the bowl in some of the shots
Pretty much depends on where you live.I live in southeast asia, no heater needed.
Fishing Fantasy what do u use as a filter or to get oxygen into the tank
@@Kaymon the plants themselves do a lot oxygen and filter wise tbh
Its so effortlessly beautiful!
Cool! also, what a nice fish store!
I stumbled upon this channel, it’s amazing. Just subbed! You are a true artist!
Census same!
Damn. You’re really brave to take that fish tank outside. Mine would’ve fallen out of my hands 😅
And he bounces it around too. Clumsy me can't relate ☺️ Anyway, that's one beautiful bowl set up right there 🥰

Best fish video I ever saw....
beautiful! but i wonder there is no filter system, and I think beta only is better. fishies are ok?
The betta did not care about the guppies cuz the tank is big enough for them.

That looks fabulous. ,!!!!

@Epic Bruh Moments that's not how the nitrogen cycle works...

How thick does the glass need to be in order for it to withhold the pressure????
Did you ever figure it out? I’m scared it’ll break when I clean it.

What music do you use in your videos?
Love seeing my LFS. Keep up the good videos bud. You ever visit any of the other stores in that area
I would like to know, too

Great video! Do you know how thick is the glass on your bowl? I am about to get one which is 3mm thick i am feel like it's not very safe...
Beautiful! But guppies aren't recommended tank mates for Bettas as they resemble male bettas somewhat. He might get stressed. :)
I know, these are small guppies and endlers, he shows no aggression towards them
