- It's official, we now have a new favourite City Destination. Berlin is fascinating, and beautiful, and complex and has topped our all time favourite list (well, probably topped it). Join us for an incredible 24 hours, as we explore Berlin's secret and not so secret history. AND on top of all that, our park up for the night is one of the most iconic locations we have ever camped in.
From here we had to Tropical Islands to celebrate George's birthday doing what he loves best - swimming!

A few years ago I was talking to that water park about doing a promotional video for them. But the deal fell through and I never ended up going, so it was good to see it in your vid!
It was a great day for George’s birthday Adz, but if you’re ever down near Munich you’ve got to give Therma Erding a go, more slides and things for the boys to do. Look forward to seeing you and having a catch-up at the weekend mate.

Next time you're in Berlin you should take a 2.5 hr drive to Zagan in Poland, where you can find the remains of Stalag Luft III. The site of the Great Escape and Wooden Horse escape of WWII. Great museum with staff that can give you a tour of the camp remains
We do have a whole Poland and Eastern Europe adventure planned (or as planned as we ever manage). We just don’t have a slot to do it in - yet!
@@RoamingRadfords I'm ex RAF, and have lived in Poland for 14 years. This country has a lot to offer, especially for history geeks and so much more but you need to plan well. I'd be more than happy to show you around some sights in the area where I live 👍

Fabulous waterpark. Loved the trip around Berlin and the Bourne connection. Very atmospheric knowing the history and the way they had to rebuild the city. I spent 2 years working in Munich. Similar. So much history.

great video , love the indoor water park . one question for you . what do you do to your headlights when driving abroad ? i have been stopped twice in the last five years to check that i have the converters placed in the right place on my headlights . i'am i just unlucky to be stopped .as there seems a lot about our vans going abroad and nothing coming the other way

Didn't do a walking tour when last visited Berlin but wonder how long it lasts and approximately how far did you walk. I ask this because you took the underground to the city centre but ended up ba k at the Brandenburg gate. Really loving the European tour, thanks very much. Incidentally we stayed at an ex British army base at Spandau a few years ago.
It was a 3 hours. From Alexanderplatz back to the Brandenburg Gate, via Checkpoint Charlie
The police vans you saw were used by a lot of the security companies in the uk to carry cash and values years ago, the old 809s and 811s not best vans they rattled and rock so bad it feels like your knocking your fillings out, but built to lasted.

why do we not build such beautiful land marks anymore? The ancients build such great and iconic structures using sandstone and marble, now we just have steel and glass buildings like the gherkin that just aren't the same :(

Very interesting trip -I went to Germany in 2006 and I felt sad at what the Germany people let happen to their country and the world -What a shame-Good old American Capitalism is the best -And the American Constitution is the way to go -I sure don’t want Europe socialism or communism here 🙏🏻 🇺🇸🇺🇸

I must say that the air suspension seems to be a good investment if you are ”stealth camping”. 🌴🦣🌴 Leveling with the other side on the curb is quite impressive. 👌
