THANK you SOO muc !! Cockburn Denver 1982 ... So so so so so utterly amazing !!! and before that in SAN FRANCISCO 1974 or so ... OR even earlier !!! XOxoxoxoxo AND again here in Berkeley 2014. LOVE !! Xoxoxoxo
I remember seeing Bruce Cockburn way back in 1974 at Place Des Arts in Montreal. It was a time when not long before he had recorded an album called, High Winds White Sky. I still listen to it from time to time.
One of my favourite songs. I occasionally have issues with depression. That's when I really love this song for the line "Kick at the darkness 'til it bleeds daylight."
Im only 17 so I wasn't around during the time this era of music came about but I sure wish I was. I like this music way more than the stuff they play today.
Are you related to Bruce? John, brother of Bruce, was my doctor for a couple of years. I got to have lunch with them once when he was passing through the area, thanks to John. Bruce is the most underrated Canadian artist of the past 30 years.
