    The dysfunctional camera thing is a deliberate running joke, at this point, right? Please tell me it is. It’s got to be a message we’re trying to send the world, as a community. « This is chess. We have a historic phenomenon; a player who plays better than anyone ever has. It’s 2020, the internet has been around for 30 years. Let’s make sure we never, ever, ever produce a decent stream. *Chess : It’s Not Worth it.* »
    That would make some sense, at least. In a meta kind of way.

    • @juliusable
      @juliusable 4 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      In general all aspects of chess24 except its reputable representatives are subpar. The board looks cheap and feels slow with weird color mismatched arrows. The brand name and logo also seem cheap. The good news is that these things are easily fixed and in doing so chess24 would easily become the most successful digital chess platform due to their connection to Magnus Carlsen.

    • @droceretik
      @droceretik 4 ปีที่แล้ว

    Having watched Magnus many times now playing blitz (thank you chess 24), i believe that one of the most important things he does is "constantly remain in focus" and "actually thinking about the game throughout the whole game". He remains up to the task for the whole game, he does what he is supposed to do. It's not long till distractions hit when i am playing and i believe this happens to a lot of people and in order to improve, it should be corrected.

Electrostatic Noise? External noise? Computer quality? Software? Internet lag? Are you a sound technician or computer tech? To me, it sounds like he has echo from walls as it's a about a 3 Hz out of phase interference echo IMO but also he had intermittent lag, image break down and sound discontinuity. Magnus proves again to be the Greatest Of All Time, improving from 3381, itself super-great, towards the highest ever, which I know to have been at least 3438, and likely higher. The level of instruction here is so edifying that one should listen carefully. Magnus, this is so much the better you than on other website personalities, i.e. Dr, Drunkenstein, that you become immortalized with this Banter, which you rightly connect to the past, such as to Chigorin and to Steinitz. Would it be too much to ask that you also look closer at Lasker, my second favorite to you now, with this Banter Blitz, for the next one? More than the openings though, I expect that you will like the calculation and logic. Be blessed forever, and thank you for representing the West.

    Kasparoffs ultimate Rating in Blitz was 1998 as „Raffael“ with 3400 on Chess.com.
    I recorded his last game. It was a wired pawn-endgame. Absolutely mindblowing!!!
    After that he excommunicated himself.
    I think, he was „exsqueezed“ seeing everywhere pink cows 🤪
    Now it’s a 3400 revival!
    But it’s another level...
    Carlsen makes 3400 with a smile and making jokes simultaneously.
    „Look the unlucky knight on a8. I am not a welfare company!“
    And!
    He is WITHOUT ANY NERVES!!!

    The opponents need time odds based on their level. Magnus gets 5 minutes but the opponents get extra time. I would rather see the complete game to checkmate rather than a flag.

    What am I missing at 1:10:06? Why isn't Magnus taking the knight with his knight instead of playing Rb4?
