Since you love Omar’s voice, you need to react to Dragonborn Comes by Voiceplay with Omar. The vocals are impeccable and the video looks like amazing. 😊 Another good video with Omar is Carry On Wayward Son. It’s a breathtaking rendition.
I love how you explain the vocals and the background details you pick out that i hadnt noticed. That is one of the great things about Voiceplay, when they bring in a featured performer they treat them as part of the group, they dont give them one line to sing they give them equal if not more time to shine. They did a cover of The Phantom of the Opera years ago and it is spectacular, it features Rachel Potter as Christine and i cant recommend it enough.
That's a good suggestion because Geoff hit an high note 😁 there's also the new one from Geoff (Way down) and you must see the "credit" part of the video
I really enjoyed watching you groove. This is one of my favorites. Everyone gets their chance to shine and I agree, Omar's voice is downright yummy. SO GOOD!!
I was lucky enough to be inside the Electric Lady recording studio when the album Talking Book was recorded, including this masterpiece. Voiceplay as usual does an incredible a cappella version, I’m sure Stevie (if he hears it) will love it.
I have two videos that I'd love to see your reaction to. The first is one from 2015, The Phantom of the Opera feat. Rachel Potter. This was before J None, when Tony Wakim was still performing with the group and Geoff had short hair. The second recommendation is Geoff Castallucci's newest one, dropped just a week ago. He's wiggling his butt to an Elvis Presley song, Way Down, with VP member Layne manning the camera and Kathy C handling props. I'm hearing it took them EIGHTY tries to get that last low note of his right.
I’d love for you to react to an old (very old) VoicePlay video, I Knew You Were Trouble / As Long As You Love Me. Rachel Potter is featured, but Layne gets to rap for a bit. Impressive, since every word is clear, even in double time! And they are premiering a new pop video tomorrow morning. Actually any Geoff or VoicePlay you want to react to would be fine! Thank you.
VoicePlay's clarity of diction is one of the things I really appreciate. I find it so hard to understand many modern singers as they sacrifice diction for sound effect.
If you want another one with rapping, I definitely recommend checking out their I Knew You Were Trouble/As Long As You Love Me. It's an older video, and the first one with Rachel Potter actually, and we get to hear Layne spit bars.
Omar has a beautiful voice. Also in Dream On, Another request for Dragonborn Comes, and yes I'm in your subscriber sqaud. :) I agree with Carry On Wayward Son too. Geoff as walking bass guitar in that one.
I know you either have or will watch this again, so when you do, pay attention to Geoff’s baseline all throughout the song. His bAseline and Layne’s vocal percussion drive the whole thing!
Amazing reaction, Danielle!! And I agree with the comments Dragonborne by Voiceplay is a must! Not sure if you're a Skyrim girl or not, but it's definitely worth the watch.
I agree that Omar's one of my favorite male guest vocalists they've had. He brings a very different tone to the high tenor parts than Eli because Eli's very gritty while Omar is not, which makes for great contrast. Like Cesar he's very skilled at blending with other vocalists, and those waterfall vocal tumbles he does are incredibly good. I've enjoyed every song I've heard that he was involved with.
This is probably my favorite Stevie Wonder song....but after Voiceplay absolutely crushed a grand slam on another of my all-time favorite 70's songs, "Carry On Wayward Son," I had no concerns at all about what they would do with this classic. They crushed it, of course. And I actually drooled on myself at that key change. 😆 Great reaction as always, Danielle! #subscriptionsquad
Danielle I think you should also react to *Alisah Bonaobra singing Let’s get Loud in Xfactor also side her other performances as well* I think you’ll really enjoy them
When you speak of Omar sometimes using a ”horizontal” tone instead of an open voice, I realized what I was sensing. When he sings horizontally, he sounds a bit like Stevie Wonder even though their underlying voices are quite different. And I don't think I have heard Stevie sing with Omar's clear, open sound.
Hi Miss Danielle! This is such beautiful reaction😊 I hope you can react to Calum Scott feat. Darren Espanto singing "Heaven".. Their MV is so beautiful joined with voices that takes you to a place like heaven❤ Thank you and Stay safe❤
Do you have a great timing, very funny. Love your reactions to VoicePlay, and I know you’re probably getting a lot of comments, but there’s a new song by then they dropped today. Highly recommend!
Eeeck... I'm so happy right now becoz of you Danielle you always made my day whenever I see you... I would be very grateful to be your next shout out... Thank you and God bless.... #Subscriptionsquad
Can you react caloy quemada cover mariah carey song. Thank you if you notice my request🙏😊♥️ you will be shocked if you see what he can do to here talent❤️
Normally I'm with you; I HATE rap, even when they call it hip-hop. Somehow though, in the two VoicePlay songs in which I've heard J None rap, it's okay. In fact, in Valhalla Calling I actually liked it!

You need to react to Geoff's new video. He went full Elvis.
Thankfully minus the jumpsuits.
@@kelleyoneal2578 well, there are some overalls... 😁
YES! Fantastic video! Geoff goes all out on this one!

I’m glad Geoff had a second low drop for you to enjoy since you seem to have missed the one he did when you commented on the spooky lights.
EXACTLY
Oh, this one was a joy. Great mimicry of the parts you dug, too, it helped highlight things.
Daaannngg!!! That rap part is 🔥. Luv yah coach, have a wonderful day!❤️🙏

Yes please doing this song 😍

Omar's voice does remind me a lot of Stevie Wonder...

".. waterfall vocal tumbles." What a perfect description!
Voiceplay just came out with Good 4 U and honestly I can’t wait for you to react to it! Adriana is amazing in it!
First time hearing this one as I thought I had heard all of their songs. Thanks for reading to this
VoicePlay’s Good 4 U cover is very bouncy and fun #subscriptionsquad
It's also great to see J None back in, most likely he had some time off from the Navy

Danielle I think you should also react to *Alisah Bonaobra singing Let’s get Loud in Xfactor also side her other performances as well* I think you’ll really enjoy them
Oh wow I was also going to suggest her she’s a great singer 🙌
A cool Stevie Wonders song….so nostalgic!

Sandra Bullock it's that you?.🤩
You talked through my favorite part (Geoff's solo part) :(
Hi Miss Danielle! This is such beautiful reaction😊 I hope you can react to Calum Scott feat. Darren Espanto singing "Heaven".. Their MV is so beautiful joined with voices that takes you to a place like heaven❤ Thank you and Stay safe❤
Fun reaction - thank you! I hope you’ll make more videos about VoicePlay-it’s been a few months, right? How about The Hall of the Mountain King?!
Do you have a great timing, very funny. Love your reactions to VoicePlay, and I know you’re probably getting a lot of comments, but there’s a new song by then they dropped today. Highly recommend!
