in my opinion is better to copy one topo in The phase Existing other in The New phase, after it you can modify new terrain and calculate the volume of extracted earth masses )
Hi, I have a video suggestion. Could you do a video where you make a topo solid. This would look like land from above, but be solid for basements, cliffs, and tunnels underneath. Thanks.
Kindly make a video how we create G.L to P.L with detailed materials (like sand filling , B.F.S , P.C.C, floor Tiles ) including quantity calculation. Plz ❤
Great video. I didn’t know that you could place topo points above building pads like that! How would you go about placing topo points around a retaining wall where the difference in elevation is +2m?
@@balkanarchitect thanks for the answer- you can't see that line in 3D though- so I always trim the topography- but then it handles very poorly after it is cut
There is a way of achieving that, I have included that in one of my courses, please check out my course on topography in revit, you can find it on my website. 🙂
Is there any way to place a vertical slop of 90 for say a retaining wall in the middle of the lot? I split the lots but my cut n fill were wrong. Revit has a bug when there are multiple topo solids in the same project. Especially if one suttounds the other.
what can i do if i have an already modelled contour site as well as a building on another file. how can i get them both together? how do i place the building from one file on to of the contour?
DO ONE FROM 3D FACES TO TOPO REVIT, CLIENTS ARE SENDING IN MODELS THAT HAVE TOPO AS A MESH IN AN EXPORTED CAD FILE FROM 3RD PARTY SOFTWARES...IE ARCHICAD
I Have to thank you a trillion times for helping me get through my finals in Architectural college.
Thank you so much for this video, it's direct and so helpful. You've taught me more than our professor is six weeks. I'm a subscriber to your channel.
I think the best way to do that is using the comand "Graded Region", so after you could also calculate the quantity of terrain moved.
Can you please elaborate more ?
Thank you so much. I have followed your videos for some time now and I can now make perfect use of the Revit software.
Hey Mr. Balkan thanks for such useful videos which gives us a great learning as well as fabulous ideas 🙂

Hi, I show all of that in my topography in revit course 🙂
You are good!

Hi! :)
How could we see the difference between the existing and new phase in the topography? How much soil was moved? (Thank you)
(welcome)
how do you shape the outer edges of the topography to match the property line?
You use the property line tool for that, no need to shape the topo surface
