You're thinking of "The GUY" Lee.....their Mascot who takes on many persona's. David Draiman...a voice to die for. A powerful yet soulful voice that can go from warm baritone to angelic tenor, from clear as a crystal to rasp/distortion and back on a dime. He has a timbre in his voice that I've never heard before.....just hauntingly beautiful tonal properties to it! An awesome talent and obvious training to deliver what he does!! Can sing like an angel or the devil ! Good job depicting the message of the song Lee as usual! Try "Deceiver", Violence Fetish", "Indestructible" and "The Night" by Disturbed too.
Agreed! I have been watching my notifications for Disturbed. In the meantime, watching a few others that have caught my interest but Disturbed is my favorite band. So, I love to see what others think about their songs. And love it even more when they love them too!

I never watched the original, never knew this was a cover 😋 would have told you if I did. Love this song, it’s got such a pumped feeling, and David’s voice is perfect in it. Vengeful One came in the albums after this, I believe this “Savior” character is repeatedly in his music video catalogue. I figure getting to these artists are difficult from time to time. Hence why I use my number of requests to stake out your channel and pick up requests from others to try to include them. You’re being overrun with us Patrons 😋😋😋💞
I love both versions and I enjoyed watching the Genesis video on MTV in the 80s as much as I enjoy watching the Disturbed one nowadays. Have been working for corrupt governments and rotten politicians and took part in revolutions afterwards so I love the message!

I seen this many years ago, and thought it was a cool cover, with a new visual twist to the story telling. I like it better than the original. The original Genesis video is kinda creepy in a strange way. It used big Ugly puppets, of everyone it portrayed, from the band to Presidents.
Since I can tell you're a comics fan from your shirts, you may be interested to know that the animators for this video made the HBO Spawn series back in the 90s.
