I say its worth it, especially if you're in your 20s like me. I'm sure he would look much better and even feel more confident. I'm talking from experience, going buzz cut because I was going really bald at 24 years old. And for the dude that commented "Stop saying go bald Would y'all date a bald female? Clearly hair and certain styles play a major role in your appearance it also helps with age and expression." It doesn't really apply here because it's not that common to see bald females around, plus, it's not the same a woman wearing a wig for balding problems than a man doing it. Plus, some men and woman actually look really really sexy with a buzz cut, or even bald, than with bad hairstyle. AND, even though hair plays a major role in your appearance, it's not the only thing you can rely on, and actually it doesn't matter that much for lot of women, and if you improve your looks on other areas, you will see that the importance we give to our hair starts to decline rapidly. Going bald puts you in an over awareness state of that, you start wasting time trying to cover it, and it shows on your behavior because your confidence is not in the right place. That's not a healthy mind state.

That's why I said, work on the things you can really change, for me it meant; finally getting braces, muscle building, and lately started working on my beard growth. If you can't grow enough, try using minoxidil 5%. Some glasses also helps driving attention to your face instead of to your thinning hair (I actually need it, but It's all about how it fits you face). Dude, I'm telling you, I have never receive more attention from women before than theese years, plus, with my not so masculine facial features, the buzz cut makes me look more "bad ass". It also has to do with how you carry yourself, voice, behavior, etc. Hair is just ONE feature of all of those which makes a person a man.
Just because bald men are common doesn't mean it gets accepted. Most women grow hair in their legs but most men won't even consider them if they dont shave.

8:39 felt attacked just now 😂 I just finished a cut with a client similar this hair and had a hard time with the ridge because I was hesitant to go shorter on the sides while trying to preserve length on top and it just wasn’t looking right… the top just kept looking flat. I fought through it and it came out alright. But definitely could’ve been better. Look I love color enhancements but at the same time it’s not for everybody. A lot of things factor in when deciding to use it. Lifestyle is one major one. Dan is someone that doesn’t want to deal with the maintenance that comes with color enhancements. He only wants a clean cut. Plus there is no way in hell biegen or kiss express will look natural on him. Maybe hair fibers but that shit is coming right off that same day.
