Great review xmanny. One of the additional benefits of watching your channel is waiting for your reviews before I decide whether to purchase. I was on the fence with this guy. Still am. I do not want to support Hasbro's gouging. I will wait for the price to come down to a more reasonable level before deciding whether to buy it. Having the OG BAF gives me time with this one. For Hasbro, I would like to see them make the Blood Brothers. A comic based "Big Green" Drax would also be a nice idea. For Select, I would like to see them attempt a Ronan however, if they were to dedicate their efforts on an Annihlus I would be all over that like a fat kid on a Reeses.

My theory is that Hasbro knows many, if not most, will wait for figures to hit clearance before buying them by the truckload. The price hikes mean they might sell figures at the old price if/when they get clearanced, plus the ones that people do pay full price for. Just a random thought I had, I have no idea of if that would make any sense for them at all. Anyways I got this at a discount, but still about the same a standard ML figure goes for these days.

Objectively, this looks like a great figure! There is actually a lot of detail going on here, and I like seeing the various shades of green that match and the paint where it should be. Including on the back. This level of sculpting and detail is what we should get, every time. That said, I knew if anyone was going to be fair about this offering then it was going to be you. This price is unforgivable. As much as I want this figure, I can't support business decisions like this. I'm priced out. It's a shame that we have the technology to finally get figures as good as this, but have it spoiled by Hasbros decision to increase profits by 50%. Eh well. Another pass for me. As always, I appreciate your honesty and consistency.

I like the figure i think he was worth it understanding that the dollar ain't worth as much as its use too. Anyways. I give it an eighth for being mostly accurate to the comics .the only gripe i have with this figure is the lack of extra hands and certain effects. But i think the figure looks cool and its fun to play with .if you are familiar with the character and don't mind the price its fine. But for those. That find it pricey its understandable. Our dollar is not worth as much as it use to be . so you have to give more to something .to make it worth anything. Inflation. But i don't regret getting him. Marvel legends hulk cost twice the price of a twenty four dollars figure. and i dont hear people complaining . about it. So the figure is fine i give it a nine changed my mind. Dude, as long as you’re happy that’s all that really matters. And you’re right, no other company gives you the deepest roster for marvel like Legends do. Which is the best for world building with themes, teams and other project dreams.
one thing I've also noticed is the ebay pricing tanking. Ebay was usually the most crazy high prices for collectables, now I'm seeing figures that were impossible to afford not even 2 months ago, up for half the price with no bids today. I think its cause collectors feel like whatever they have is just going to get replaced and hasbro is gunna buy off people to say the new version is 100 times better.
Not for me. I only like their oversized figures like Groot, Titanium Man, Rhino, etc. Their basic 7 inch figures suck to me. Single joints. Very janky. Mafex is where it’s really at for Marvel. Balance of sculpt and articulation.
I really meant for the bigger guys. Kinda like Ronan and bigger. Mafex have always been so expensive for me to get. They are really in another price range to me. This release is kinda spendy tho. Love ur channel Manny. I watch every episode. Almost.

I can’t sculpt or paint figures. I don’t have the patience or skills to do so. So if I wanted to have a talented individual to take the $19 and make it into this figure available by Hasbro/Amazon I’m paying more than $40. Sure that cost goes into a one of a kind piece and the creator probably jazzed it up. But that figure is still much higher to obtain. Hasbro isn’t playing us for fools any more than anyone else who charges for a product. It’s $40 worth it to me. Hell yeah I have been bugging Marvel Select to make a bad ass Green armor Ronan for years. They aren’t going to make it. Hasbro should have done a Blob like treatment for Ronan. If they did it’s probably more than $40. Surely we may have paid $50 or more for all new wider Ronan with a bit more like effects and extra hands. When they made that Colossus and Death’s Head I was certain it was going to be used for Ronan especially having that relaxed hand with Death’s Head which is needed for those hammer wielding poses. It does have a presence on the shelf. It does look good with other figures from the cosmic leaning. I think the desire to have the shoulder pauldrons overlapping the hood was their overall goal. The inset ring in the shoulder joint wouldn’t work as well for that look. It would have had a similar limitation in the articulation range as the shoulder rotates. I own the BAF Ronan. It sold for $200? Dang I should have sold it. It’s okay I’ll just display two figures. I like the Rangers effect piece you paired it up with. I have some other green effects I’ve collected. I have no idea where but it looks cool. I’m digging the figure. It’s pretty posable even with the limitations. Sorry it didn’t Jazz you as much. I’m pretty pleased.

The figure looks amazing. The only downside is that it CANNOT be posed due to the huge shoulder pads!!! The arms can neither move forward nor side way without popping of the pads. As a result, the figure cannot be put in ANY dynamic poses. They should either make the shoulder pads smaller, or engineer them differently. Super disappointed that it cannot be posed. Was looking forward to getting it, but not sure anymore, even if it goes on sale. This figure is second only to Terrax, a figure that is impossible to pose with its limited ball jointed hips, and single jointed elbow. Can't even get Ronan or Terrax to just rest their weapons on their shoulder. Big L. Again, the figure sure looks good, but I don't do vanilla.

I just bought this 2 days ago for 33$ TAX included :) i was like its too much when it came out.

Yeah it shot down in price a week or so after the announcement. Luckily I was able to sell mine for $200 to put the $40 from that towards this.
