    Have you tried recording to the melodic section and then copying that to the drum section? Works great - sometimes.

    18:00 no I think best case scenario if anything happens is that the sample owner just copyright claims your work and gets the revenue from it instead of you, but it at least gets to stay up

      That's fair. I wasn't aware that happens.

    I reset my po133 tonight for the first time, the screen became blank with "r" with counting seconds for a minute or so; does that sound right to you? It eventually resets, but other POs have instant reset with "r" and counting seconds for a period.

    • @3lkstr
      @3lkstr  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes. Because it's a sampler it's basically formatting the memory and recopying over the original samples. Absolutely nothing to worry about! 😁🤘

    Interesting PO but Do u see any difference between Po 33 and po133 besides the desing display and the sounds that comes with it?? so it would be worth buying it if someone already has the 33 or wants yo buy it?

    • @3lkstr
      @3lkstr  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I don't own a PO-33. However, my understanding is that it is identical other than the preloaded sounds and branding on the PO itself.
      I THINK you could have someone do a data backup on the Street Fighter version and you could do a Data Overwrite on the standard PO-33 if you just wanted the official sounds. Otherwise, if you wanted all the branding as well, I would sell the PO-33 and buy the PO-133.
      I don't think it would be worthwhile to own both, though.

      @@3lkstr I own the 133 and found a data backup online for the 33 tried loading it and so far keep getting an error, not sure if the 33 has a different way to write back up's or the recording I downloaded was at fault.

    sooo the question is Is it possible to recover the present sounds when you delete them?

    • @3lkstr
      @3lkstr  3 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      If you want the sounds it comes with, a factory reset will recover them. If you've created new sounds and sequences you can do a data backup before you delete them if you want to be able to recover them later.
      To backup data you'll need an audio cable plugged from the PO-133 to a recording device then press write+sound+play while recording.
      To restore data from a backup sound file, you'll use an audio cable plugged into the PO-133 audio in and press write+sound+record and then play the audio.
      The manual can be found here:

    So if I record a 6 second is there a way too use the whole sample?

    • @3lkstr
      @3lkstr  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Well, not as simply as recording a sample and clicking a button and hitting play. It's going to take a little planning.
      Basically, there's two-ish ways to do this.
      1. Recording your desired sample as a kit (probably multiple kits for 6 seconds). The PO will auto slice it and assign to the 16 buttons. You'll activate all the buttons then move onto the next Pattern, repeating the process until your full 6 seconds is assigned and eventually Pattern chain them together when playing.
      2. You'd record the track in the melodic bank (1-8), but you'd have to ensure that you didn't record longer than the 16 track sequence takes to run based on your bpm. Then record to the next melodic bank, repeating until you have your 6 seconds. Then pattern chain to get it to play in sequence.
      3. You MIGHT be able to record one six second sample on one melodic bank and use the trim function to adjust it as you lay it across sequences. I don't currently have a working model to test this on (I had issues with mine, so they're sending a replacement).
      I should have one by Tuesday. I can try some things then and let ya know.

    • @PHeMoX
      @PHeMoX 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@WesNavy In order to use longer samples, you may want to try the slowest BPM speed for a pattern and manually drum in the beats (using the hold write method).
