UC Riverside 20th Annual Mecha Summer Leadership Camp

The MEChA Leadership Camp (MSLC) offers a transformative experience for high school students across Southern California. This empowering weekend at the University of California, Riverside, aims to inspire students, equip them with the tools they need to pursue higher education, develop a critical consciousness, and become leaders who drive positive change in their communities.
During the camp, students will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in college life by staying in the dormitories. They will participate in engaging workshops and presentations that cover topics such as financial aid, admissions, and career pathways. Additionally, students will showcase their creativity and leadership skills through community-building activities and meaningful conversations known as "platicas."
This year's theme is "Cada Persona es una semilla, nurtured by collective leadership, enriched by shared values para florecer into a jardin of empowerment and strength"
