It used to be 85% acceptance rate back then for Fall 2001 freshman applicants. When I applied and got in, it was 82% acceptance rate for Fall 2002 freshman students. 2.50 high school GPA okay.

I would suggest UC Riverside, I got into both schools too and ended up choosing Riverside :)
