San Antonio is such a beautiful and historic city. The Alamo freaked me out because it was smaller than I expected. 😂🤦🏽♀️ Glad you had a moment to explore and get some fresh air!

@@KaceyCassady "The Alamo" as it is today consists only of the chapel from the original mission. If you visit when it is open, the interior of the chapel is a spiritual experience. BTW, where is your accent from?

Wow! DFW is like a ghost town. Something I never thought I’d see. Love the video segment in the park. Looks like a really pretty place and ur so lucky it’s close. Also I love the tote that has the pocket to slip on the top of ur suitcase. Really functional. Finally, the Riverwalk is so beautiful, u r right it would be a sin not to enjoy it. I sincerely feel pain when I think of the huge losses you industry is taking. When I see all of the beautiful planes parked in masses it makes me feel sick. I am grateful for the wonderful places I have seen in the world thanks to the airline industry--and especially thankful for you always getting me there safely. In so many ways I see you all like family and am praying hard that this will be behind us very soon. I live in AZ but actually should be in Glasgow right now starting a 3 week vacation in Scotland. Wishing you and your colleagues the best and prayers.

I he himself worked as a flight attendant for 28 years, in Russia (Aeroflot) there were 85 countries of the world, and many countries saw a lot of impressions, but family life rarely happens well for anyone! You will succeed!
This has got to be one of the most down to earth humans I’ve come across on TH-cam. Most girls would bitch and complain about wearing shoes that don’t match their outfit, yet she just rolls with the punches. A lot to be said about that when dealing with reality.
I worked hospice for five years and on-call status drove me absolutely insane. I admire how you have such an upbeat and flexible attitude about it. The weather in Dallas has been wonderful. Take care and stay safe.

Hi Kacey...I'm catching up on your videos. While its February (almost a year into COVID now) it was good to see people practising social distancing and staying in. It's bad for certain occupations (like yours) but we have to get this under wraps. Funny how you're not able to sleep for fear of sleeping in .....totally agree! Love your videos👍❤️

Lol the only connection I have to your industry is that I was once a commercial flight instructor.
I just wanted to complement you on a few things. I'm so thankful unlike many other youtube vlogers that you use clean language to express yourself. You don't know how refreshing that is...or I should say rather I'm sure you do. I get the impression that you've made the choice to live a very clean life. I'm thinking part of this is a result of the way your parents have raised you and the example they've provided to you and your siblings.
Even though you are very young, I get the impression that among your peers you are more than likely far wiser than most.
You have such a wonderful attitude about you. It lifts my spirit, especially with all of what is going.
I certainly hope and pray that you will be able to hold a bid as all airlines will be going through an incredible transformation in the coming months.
You will be no doubt a survivor and eventually a thriver no matter what happens.
I know the airline business is all about seniority but if it were based on merit you'd be in the top tier.
Tell your mom and dad thanks for their sacrifice in helping you to be the person you've become.
I love the saying I heard from a conference talk at church: "The most important work you will ever do will be within the four walls of your home."
Another: "The best thing you can do for your children is to love their mother."

Haha one more cute story. "A young twenty year old girl was standing with her mother at her mom's gathering at her reunion. A friend of the mother came up and met the daughter for the first time. After several minutes the woman congratulated the mom for having such a wonderful daughter. She said in closing: "I'd give twenty years of my life to have a daughter like yours!" After a few moments, the mother being slightly choked up responded: "that is what my husband and I did...we gave twenty years of our lives to have her."

Just a suggestion:
Keep leggings, silk (or any nice fabric that folds small) t-shirt and flats in a ziplock bag tucked in the bottom of your travel bag.
It’ll always be there for any kind of weather, and nice enough for any kind of excursion.
Nice to see things are good with you. Strange to see the airports so empty though. Always look forward to your posts....the crazy hours and flights are so draining aren't they? Look forward to your posts...stay well....
Great video!! I was at Lackland AFB and did the river walk the day of bootcamp graduation, I thought the Alamo was a buzz kill .. super small, but the river walk was a lot of fun!

I have the exact same blue blocking glasses lol. I was shocked how much they help. I sit in front of 3 24” monitors all day long, 65” TV at night and iPhone 10k times a day lol highly recommend them.

Sounds like things will start picking up; very glad to hear it. But it will probably will take a couple of weeks for the whole situation to start seeing noticeable improvement. To me, the Riverwalk is arguably the most beautiful place to visit in San Antonio. Its so sad to see the streets basically deserted. Hope this all ends soon.

facturer based in SA. I was based in LA but travelled to the factory a few times. Back in London now...

Love your eating habits while working. When I was in a cockpit for a living (non airline) my favorite friend at the FBO was a Coke machine and a machine with chips, cookies or candy. Was sure a ton of fun but don't miss it. Far to many "2 stick motels" over many years on per diem.

Stay safe and wear your mask. You're lucky you went to SAT. It nice DFW let you park in the parking lot instead of the employees lot. I know there is certain floors you have to park.,but some people dont read signs.

What a great airport, lots of memories there!
DFW is one of my Favorite airports. Got stuck there once flights delayed and some cancelled. They put me up in the Adams Mark for the The night with Dinner which was really cool, bonus 200 Air Miles for Inconvenience Frequent Flyers Club that was me all day everyday for 7 years.Since I was on a High Floor I kept the Curtains open and just watched the Storm there's is something really Impressive in the Night sky during Storms in Texas. Almost as if the Sky and Clouds touch the Ground do to low ceilings..
Thanks for the li'l preview of the SanAntonio Riverwalk & the Alamo. If I'm ever at DFW I'll remember terminal D lounge (it *did* look very nice). But, I have to say, I've never seen an airport so empty unless it was a regional (and off-peak hrs.). I had a girlfriend who'd take "mall ballet flats"...had a rubber sole but packed very flat.
Ugh I used to be based in DFW and this video makes me miss it so much 😭😭 love your videos ✈️

I fly thru Dallas all the time. Almost every time we fly anywhere. Some people hate airports, but I really don’t. I think it’s because I walk a lot when I’m there and plus we are able to go to the lounge since we have access to it because of my brother.

Not flying during this time seems to be the new norm! All I’ve done is sit at the crashpad or sit standby. I’m ready to fly some more.

My next flight to @DFW I want to build in time to travel the Skylink around the entire five (soon to be six(?)) terminals. The last time I was there I rode the Skylink from Terminal C to Terminal A. I had a beautiful view of the Dallas skyline.
