Brake Press Bottomed out this morning and cracked the bottom die, how do we stop this from happening it was 2mm galvanized 75" long, what tonnage was set at 40 ton 1/4" die?
I had to replace the x axis limit switch on my machine and now the back gauge is no longer accurate. Is there a way to re-calibrate the x axis on the ESA?
Measure what the X axis is really at now … example you type in 2” but are getting 2.123” high lite X 1 then go to direct reference button and type in the number you measured press enter … then the backguage will be calibrated
yes , go to lower right menu click menu until yellow menu tree shows up look for user preferences click on that scroll down should be a line for mm/in switching -- you may need to restart the CNC to get ALL the changes to take effect so save any programs your in before restart CNC
The hydraulic manifold usually has control valves for approach speed and pressing speed you would need to consult with the manufacturer of your press brake to get a hydraulic diagram to see which valves control those speeds … when turning valves you need to mark the valve with line on the valve so you can see how far the valve moves … use only 1/4 turn at a time can make a big change so go slowly
not sure we understand what your asking.... you can bend 90 to 180 degree with standards tools anything less, like 70 60 30 etc you need acute punch and die
the CNC will calculate the LDC based on your punch and die and material thickness and degree of bend , the TDC is upto you -- you can set the max height or minimum height or somewhere in between based on the finished part size.
Sir your video is very nice ❤ good explain so many people use
Which stylus are you using ?

2mm metal would need a .625 or 3/4 die.
You can’t bend 2mm in a 1/4” V opening it’s too small …

@@SierravictorIndustries Thank you! It was right in front of my face!

how do i speed up the press?

sir degree can not 90 degree bend 90 but 119 degree why

how to i figure out T.D.C. or L,D.C.
