Every time I hear this song I'm reminded of my first time getting the conquest ending in mk2 and this playing in the credits right after. So this song is permanently/mentally attached to my memories of Nepgear wondering if she made the wrong decision as she becomes forever alone.
That ending literally tore my heart apart, and listening to this song watching the credits and at the end of them seeing Nepgear saying in the 16bit-like cutscene to "We can meet up again sometime... when everyone needs us..." to Uni, Rom, Ram... man, that made me almost cry!
I never even got to the Ending. When Rom an Ram died i stoped playing, deleted my Saffile and cired myself into sleep, contantly apolagizing what i did to Noire, Uni, Blanc, Rom and Ram. Since then i NEVER played MK2 EVER again.
I've only played Rebirth 2. Decided to watch all endings > conquest (bad) ending > thought, ok this is one happy game. How bad can the bad end be > speechless. Felt empty inside.
I highly doubt there will be a second season as funimation bought the rights to publish it then the last thing was the OVA and then after it was released david production was brought up by Fuji Television so if there will be a second season then likely by a new studio and under a new name
I like her design, Her personality, Her stats (conveniently her luck is the lowest) And her voice actresses. I can’t pick a favorite, Christine and Yui both do a great job.
This ending is even more beautiful and haunting if you start your gameplay with the Conquest Ending. It compliments the sad and depressing mood of the Conquest Ending so well that it can be cathartic.
Still one of my favorite songs, when i ear this song, my brain brings me to a time where i was happy, and this game its not even that good, but its like eating a pizza with friends and just enjoying it because its fun doing so, and now everytime i listen to this song and think about this game, my heart crumbles with a nostalgic, malinconic and yet good feelings

@@nightstalker0493 The holy sword ending is the worst out of all of them. Like 80% of the scenes are reused from the true ending, and it also makes absolutely no sense that the sword is able to kill Deity of Sin. A terrible attempt at trying to make a better version of Conquest.
