As a general rule don't expect anything sensible out of TH-cam/Twitch chats. It's people thinking for approximately two seconds before typing and clicking send.
Exactly. Hell I don't even care about getting his fucking name revealed because it's such a meme at this point. Like, I don't understand this fascination with knowing everything. Some things don't need answers. Some unresolved mysteries are fine.
@@Wizard_Pikachu THIS THIS THIS!!! There's people who wanted the Foreteller's and MoM faces to be revealed. I think revealing things like that takes the air of mystique away from them. They seem almost mythical, like legends come to life. I want to keep it that way for as long as I can.
One cool thing that I like is that the upperclassman know about the seven lights whereas, Baldur knows the other half of the equation with the 13 darknesses, but they don't know you have to use both to summon Kingdom Hearts.
Well, I mean, you _can_ use either. That was the whole thing with KH1 and KH2. Only half of the equation was present, but it still made sorta Kingdom Hearts. When it was just 7 of light, Kingdom Hearts was light and destroyed heartless. When it was 13 of darkness, it created a million heartless swarming The World That Never Was. Only with all 20 together was Xehanort able to summon the "true" Kingdom Hearts for his purposes, but Vidar and Baldr's plans would have worked fine if they came to fruition.
@@liamwhite3522 It might be possible to do it with just the seven lights because then you could create the Keyblade of Heart, which supposedly has a similar ability to open Kingdom Hearts. We never really got to see the full Keyblade of Heart in KH1 because the one Riku used while possessed by Ansem was still missing Kairi's heart. With the darknesses, however, I don't think it's been established that you can do anything particular with just the thirteen darknesses.
LOL, at the end, the man in the Blue cloak (Player Char from Union X) did say that Xehanort was Ephemer's descendant. I think it was his 4-time great-grandfather? Just as a little tip, there are certain scenes that allow for different characters to pair up with you. In those scenes, selecting characters will give you a slightly different dialogue. It's more bonus content at this point, but rewatching the scenes with different classmates are still something neat all the same.
basically guys if you didn’t know vantias is one of the true darkness. That explains the split from ventus and why ventus didn’t turn into a heartless or produce a nobody. Vantias took on form and somewhat emotions because of ventus and Sora. Now why this might be important you might ask? They’re situation is the key. As Odin stated the “ONLY” way to defeat the true darkness is to destroy a vessel. Knowing our boi Sora he wouldn’t want to go this route. So unknowingly xahnort created ANOTHER way via separating the true darkness from the vessel. Basically we are going to be seeing more vantias’s in order to save the vessels like the lost masters. Nort in ventus are definitely going to play a big role in this new saga. The only flaw i see in my theory is if the darkness are similar to vantias with an actual face emotions etc. They still would be difficult to defeat from soras moral standpoint.
No it’s actually because of ventus when vanitas and ventus was separated ventus didn’t know sora and sora wasn’t born yet ventus heart met newborn sora heart when xehanort took him to destiny island to live out his final moments but sora heart saved ventus
I mean, this whole game is supposed to make us sympathize with Xehanort, and it kinda does for me. In every scene in the present time (ie: not a year later during the mark of mastery exam, or years ago on destiny island, or 60+ years later with old man xehanort) he never uses or sides with darkness. He doesn't ever work with a disney villain (hi Terra) he never walks in the dark corridors without protection, and he doesn't hesitate to end Baldr after trying every method he could to subdue him. The biggest encounters with darkness he experienced were going from Destiny Islands to Scala ad Caelum thanks to Yellowhood Ansem, his conversation with Baldr at the finale, and then a year later when he first believes he could withstand darkness only to be *immediately* knocked out and "saved" by the Master of Masters. All of these events have someone unsavory influencing him with metaphorical darkness, before during or after literal darkness infects him. And the worst part is, because of stable time loops, he was always destined to fall to darkness, because a future him was the first step to his fall. If Yellowhood Ansem never appeared to kid Xehanort, he would never have grown up to be Yellowhood Ansem. Therefore, since Yellowhood Ansem did exist, and did influence kid Xehanort, he had to fall in order to become Yellowhood Ansem, and influence his past self.
In the theoretical universe where Ansem never time travels (because he doesn't exist, because he never time travels, repeat forever) Xehanort is Sora. Everything that makes Sora the way he is is what Xehanort started with.
I'm not really sure if I like the idea of Vanitas being Darkness rather than the dark part of Ven's heart. It sort of makes his connection to Ven and Sora much less personal. And it completely defeats the point of his "We are brothers" speech.
It is still personal because Ventus used his Light to seal Darkness and his Heart together. Ventus forced them to become One. So Ventus made them "Brothers" just like how the Master of Masters and Darkness are "friends". It is also the reason Ventus almost passed when Xehanort tore Vanitas our. Because pieces of Ventus were tore out with Them. Pure Light shapes Pure Darkness by give Them Form. Sora's Form. For you see, Sora replaced the part Darkness stole by being ripped from Oneness in Ventus. So Darkness takes the form of that part Sora is.
Vanitas is both. When Darkness possessed Ventus, it absorbed the preexisting darkness in Ventus, turning him into a being of pure light, and when Ventus reabsorbed Darkness and gave it a new form, their connection was only strengthened. He still is the dark part of Ventus’ heart, it’s just there was a little more nuance to it than we knew of. They’re still “brothers”, Vanitas is still a part of Ventus’ heart, there’s just more to him than that.
@@CasualNickname Ventus and Vanitas are "brothers" the way the the Master of Masters and Darkness are "friends". Also, Darkness calls Ventus's Heart too Pure in Re Mind. As in, too Pure Light. It is also implied that the Master of Master chose Ventus to be possessed by Darkness and showed Darkness that part of the Book of Prophecies specifically because Ventus was Pure Light. Pure Light to shape Pure Darkness. It is a test of sorts. Further, think about the way Ansem, Seeker of Darkness tries to summon Kingdom Hearts in One. Seven Princesses of Heart. Hearts of Pure Light. Then, the Birth by Sleep version. One Pure Light. One Pure Darkness.
Apparently in Missing-Link, we’re going to find out why the emblem heartless already exist. I wonder if we’re going to find out that the the Darkness we see here in Dark Road is somehow a manufactured Darkness that’s created during ML and it spawns emblem heartless like Vanitas spawns unversed
I think my favorite response someone made when we found out we raised Xehanort was:
"Oh....... my bad."
I don't get why the chat was so mad. I knew they weren't going to reveal the Master of Master's real name here of all places.

This makes what Vanitas said before disappearing in KH3 that what he is, is darknerss have more meaning. He was being very literal
Xehanort... A child destined for greatness
Sora... The Child of Destiny
