I'd deffo reccomend "The world looks white" and "The world looks red" (in that order) next. They are such interesting tracks on their own but when combined it is so damn good.
This is my favorite track of the OST, especially in context as all the sirens alarms and stuff are diegetic and happen when you trigger them in game, and the progression as you go through the level is just incredible aswell as the story it tells (ultrakill has a surprisingly engaging lore if you take the time to read the ennemies bestiary entries)
Awesome! I look forward to getting to this part 😊 I am going to make more of an effort to pay attention to the lore details in my next session. The gameplay has grabbed me, now I can pay attention to nuance!
If you want, from the creator of some Ultrakill OSTs, there is a song that is not in the game. "La Chiave Del Mio Amor" by Keygen Church, is what I believe to be the #1 song, or at least closely sharing that title with "Tenebre Rosso Sangue" by the same composer.
We could pose this as one of those "are you an optimist or pessimist?" tests: Would you consider me being right on both or wrong on both given that it was both a guitar and a synth? 😂
i feel like the guitar is the only real instrument in this game's soundtrack. It's heavily edited, but my guitarist/bassist ears are telling me that this is played for real and not a midi. Either that, or he has an insanely high quality midi pack
@@BraindeadBreakdown i relistened to some of the more guitar-y tracks in the OST, and honestly now i'm doubting myself on this. Still though, while i know modern VSTs can go in some serious detail about the tone, hearing things like messy muting, seemingly accidental grace notes and noise when changing position on, for example, Duel makes me still inclined to say it's actual guitar. Plus, the rest of the OST is almost midi-quality sounds and default drum samples, so a several hundred dollar premium guitar VST with tons of micromanaged fake messiness would be a real curveball to have in here
@@BraindeadBreakdown There are no real guitars in this song. Not VSTs either. Hakita, the composer, plays rhythm guitar in the tracks that do have it, but the lead guitar you were refering to in the climax is indeed synthesized. It's a patch from the Touhou soundfont. You can hear Hakita's actual guitar playing in most songs, more clearly in stuff like Into the Fire and the outro of Hear! The Siren Song Call of Death.
At some point you should listen to “Deep Blue”, “Hear! The Siren Song Call of Death”, and “Danse Macabre” (all from Ultrakill’s ost). “Danse Macabre” plays right after “Suffering Leaves Suffering Leaves” in the same level, so you might want to listen to those two back to back. Same thing with “Do Robots Dream of Eternal Sleep?” and “Hear! The Siren Song Call of Death”
You should totally listen to CHAOS and ORDER in that order. They are amazing songs! Edit: Wait, just realized you probably already did since no one else is suggesting them lmao
one of my favourite soundtracks in the game and this one is so unique compare to others in the game and the level himself is also unique boos battle. thats cool i want to see how you gonna play these levels with this music XD
game music its not only the music to fit the gameplay its also an amazing tool to make a story behind the game feels better like in "Order". also game music can contain words, but not really often. game music is the same music as other but it just takes place in games and it affects the song of course XD
I'm surprised you haven't listened to Castle vein or versus, because those are some of my favorite songs. I love the vids though, a lot of these songs are ones I love.
tenebre rosso sangue is my personal favorite. its the ost for the currently hardest level in the game by far and made by the guest composer keygen church.
I'd personally super recommend Death Odyssey + Deep Blue next, two INCREDIBLE songs from the wrath layer. Also Versus and Duel, but im sure those have already been suggested.
I have decided that I am going to release them on the channel at some point today! 7 songs total, 1 main title theme, 3 level themes and 3 boss themes 😊 (So the whole thing haha)
you shouldnt check the Hear! siren song call of the dead cuz its better to feel it when you gonna play this level. when you listen to this song and also know the lore behind it it feels amazingly cool. also its better to not listen the main character songs(Divine Intervention and The Death of God's Will) until you meet the boss in the game. now i think its better to check the tenebre rosso sangue. i think its one of the most popular soundtracks and also one of the best and really heavy. i think also you can listen the deep blue. its so unique and amazing. (its also contains jazzy melodies))
if Violence is going down, then for sure You need to check out the poster child of this layer: "The World Looks Red" (and probably "The World Looks White" first for the context)
please do the world looks white and the world looks red in the same video they go together and same with guts and glory aswell as suffering leaves and dance macabre
I recommend looking at Search Party from pressure, a roblox horror game. It's similar to WWR and is the one I prefer most, though if you don't want to break off of ultrakill yet you can wait to do that.
7:50 You wondered if it was a guitar or not, and ultimately decided it was a synth. Did you mean if it was a real physical electric guitar playing, or something else? Because to me that is pretty clearly supposed to sound like some sort of electric guitar, so I don't understand why you'd think it it was anything else I don't really know too much about music btw
I ended up landing on thinking it was an electric guitar based synth. I could be wrong, but some of the notes sounded more like a synthesized guitar than a real one (to me). It would be hard for to tell without listening to the original isolated track of whatever instrument that is because it is so low in the mix.
@BraindeadBreakdown Oh okay, I understand now what you were thinking. I'm pretty sure Hakita doesn't play any instruments himself, so it should all be digital I could definitely be wrong though
@korreollonborre It's definitely possible that hakita doesnt play instruments, but there is real electric guitar in a lot of songs. I actually don't know if he does though.
ah, he started the violence ost. All of violence is peak.
I am going in no particular order. It seems that they are all just as good as each other 😂
I'd deffo reccomend "The world looks white" and "The world looks red" (in that order) next. They are such interesting tracks on their own but when combined it is so damn good.
I have already recorded the videos for "Dune Eternal" and "Tenebre Rosso Sangue" so those will be next but I will do these 2 after those 😁
@@BraindeadBreakdown I cannot wait until Suffering Leaves and Danse Macabre. I just love those songs so much. Great videos!
You can check Tenebre Rosso Sangue, is one of my favorites.
It could be interesting to hear that ost that you did
Second this

So true it's gotta be this, the world looks white/red or order. Amazing music.
@themanofthemilk1369 he already did order
@@thegamingchannel4456 I know but that is not what op was talking about

I listened to Order but not Chaos. I am sorry about that, I didn't know to listen to them in order!
It's OK, tbf they don't have direct musical synergy with each other, so it's OK to listen to them out of order lmao
Why are we saying order so much???
One day my friend sent me this soundtrack and now im ultrakill fan
Please do both Tenebre Rosso Sangue and The World Looks Red
They both have some really deep emotional quality despite their style

If you haven’t already please check out “Versus” and “Duel (Versus Reprise)”
ultrakill's ost is peak ngl. (yes i play ultrakill) (and 7-1 and 7-2 were a nightmare to P rank)
Yeah this song has a controlled amount of peak within it that I just love
if you have other interests, picking up Danse Macabre would be a good pick

tenebre rosso sangue soon!!

Hakita working on anything but Fraud now 😢

Fact: The album cover for the violence OST spells GAY in flag semaphore!
Can you do the world looks red?
there is no dlc and the game isnt done yet so there is still a bit more to come.
The creator said there won't be any dlc for the game, but MAYBE a sequel
are you gonna make another video how you play ultrakill?
I will be doing another gameplay video within the next couple of days 😊
