Your tutorials feel like nice little presents for my life when I've been looking for this hypnotic sound design stuff for forever. Thank you so much! X
Everything i've watched from you has always helped. Informative, to the point and intelligently creative content.. If i see you on the circuit i'm buying you a beer or two. Danke diga!
@@MordioMusic It would be nice to see your approach to percussions, creative ones and the beats too, it's very minimalistic somehow. I'm really into this style, trying to learn to apply in my stuff, so it helps a lot to see how do you think things. Thanks for sharing!
Just discovered your channel and I have to say that I'm really looking forward for the next videos, I love the stuff that you make and your tutorial Ideas are really inspiring ! Keep going :)
Siiiick thank you for this! I love simple stuff like this, i’ve never even really played with the DS drum stuff in ableton, but def will start exploring them more now. Cheers
@@MordioMusic looking forward. however having only ableton 10 standard (not suite) my options are limited. I have novation peak though. would you consider showing some synthesis useful for hypnotic/deep/ambient techno on some 3x osc device like peak?
I got a Tip for you guys: Map the LFO phases to macros, also lfo shape is nice to map and pretty much anything (just experiment). Then hit random until you like the sound. I also like to automate the lfo phase with a really long curve so then it gets even more hypnotic. Also changing the phase after a drop gives nice variations. If someone knows a way to randomise midi notes with one button press, please tell me! I dont mean with chance and stuff just lets say I want a 1 bar loop which always repeats and i want to hit random on this loop until i like it. Thank you in advance. Und wirklich gutes Video! Feier ich sehr, mach weiter so. Ich kam nie auf die Idee diese Drum Synths für Nicht-Drums zu nutzen. Mein Abo hast du.
Really cool stuff man, thanks a lot for sharing! Just a question, which is the device that is front of your keyboard with the multiple faders and small orange buttons?
That make me happy to hear! I have to say on the modular system you just need a OSCILLATIOR that gos to a filter and find the perfect modulation with an lfo or an envelope.
@@MordioMusic haha, yes I have been trying and come up with some nice sounds. Very easy when you say it like that obviously. For this one its clearly the fluid morph between hi/band/low that gives it the movement. Found this hard to do with the modular. Crossfading between filter types doesn't sound quite as fluid. As I say, I like these videos as they make me start experimenting even if it ends up going in a different direction
@@dashbad Yes, this is not easy. If u use superfast modulations and wav forms with gabs, like Bin or square, you can have these holy moments where the filter jump from low to high superfast. Trust me, this sound amazing with some room on top.
Hi, Great presentation Mordio. I hope to see more interesting conceptos with Ableton like the one here with the kick/bassline. I have a question whats the specification of your Laptop? How many LFO you are able to use at one Ableton session till theCPU overloads?
This mac have 32ram and a i9 So it’s quit stacked. But you always can build just one system and re sample to some channels and change it completely again.
Richtig gutes Tutorial!

Cool stuff man. I was also using DS kick for basslines but that morphing filter thing sparked many ideas !
Simple audio source, but the amp gives you the Overton needed to make the filter shine :)
Amaiiizing

@@MordioMusic have managed to rebuild that patch in Reaper with Vital Synth, although it doesn't sound that bassy as your ableton version for me 🙂

how do we make the LFO road out of the screen, in MAX for live ? Because my LFO is limited to the screen and don't pursuit his beautiful way😢
Junge du bist genial
Haha Danke 🙏
wtf this is insane sound design
Glad you like it
🔥🔥🔥
💦💦💦
nice baseline in hypnus records style. For kick why you cut everything below 57 Hz?
Happy u like it :)
I cut all frequencies for making space for a Bassline around 50hz
heavy weight mordio
Happy if you like it!
Found that mike Parker sound finally
Biggest compliment ever
perfect for stoners :)

Hi, is it possible to make a hypnotic techno with a Roland MC 101?
U can male it with all!
Just make a sound let the filter move and put a delay behind
@@MordioMusic Oh! Thanks
de ollä Erklärbärlina :P
Klaro die besten trick zeig ich euch allen ;)
why i dont have the morph filter
switch the filter type and you get the morph filter or you have an old version of Ableton.
insta sub
Happy to hear that!
dude wtf
