So happy Ryan hired this young guy and gave him a chance. Many to most of us in construction who started and successfully operated our own business started just like him. In 1976 I was 27, owned a 1967 Chev pickup, no lumber rack or tool boxes, just a nail belt, skill saw, a few basic form setting hand tools and a bucket of hand trowels. Rented a bull float, a jitter bug and went out to start my own concrete construction business. Sold my multi million dollar business in 2001 to my foreman who had been with me 15 years, carried a contract for him and retired. He paid the business off in just under 10 years and is still building his business even larger than it was when I sold it to him.
Ryan, one of the many things I respect about you is that you give people a chance. you can tell he will be a really good help and not just in the way and breaking stuff like some other guys that have been on the crew in the past. good stuff
Your cat seems so lovely Ryan . I am very happy for you to have a furry friend 🐱 ☺️
take good care of him, he seems like a good guy
Nathan has that “mike work ethic”
This season is going to be unlike no other, got great people working for you now!
Seems like he will make a good addition to the team! He was so confused your 22 year old salter truck is like minty new haha
Yes!! A great way to start the morning. Thank you Ryan!
New guy is a Bugs in the making, Solid dude... so far! Lot better then someone else whos name won't be mentioned!
CarPro Iron X will remove all of the iron particles aka industrial fallout in the paint. Very easy to use, basically like your washing the vehicle.
New mechanic seems like a really good dude.
Ryan it looks like you and autumn had fun I hope even though he’s a young mechanic you give him a chance everybody deserves a chance in life you’re a good man I’m saying the same thing I hate snow I loved it when I was a kid but I hate it now when I’m older I can’t wait to your upcoming season watching you have fun with the guys love him what you guys do concrete your main man bugs is coming back you have Francisco coming back yeah Eric coming back I hope Tito comes back I hope Mike comes back part time you all you need is another CDL driver and you have your son that’s gonna be doing the CDL Driving for you you have been working with you all summer long and Autumn
Good stuff Mike he’s just cool about added work like nothing. Hard worker
I said this in a previous episode but you should get a leather apron for the shop to wear while you're using the grinder Ryan. I worked with a guy who's grinder broke just like yours and a extremely small piece was flung into his chest and missed his heart by like half an inch and almost died from it. Better to be safe than sorry.
Loving watching videos like theses ❤️❤️
Ryan, clean up that oil spill already! 😂
i like this new guy. keep him around.
Nate seems like a good Guy RY, I Hope he works out for you, Cause God knows you need someone right now to help with all the mechanical work you have, Eric is a great kid, But he aint no mechanic LoL..Peace and Love to you bro from Northern New jersey !
Welcome to Victory Nathan.
Good energy bro.😊👍
I started my business at 24, was definitely difficult at first. I’m 29 now and some people still think I’m too young when they first meet me
Annie is doing great work. She hasn't tried to hide form doing her job. 🙂
Eric has competition!
congratzs on your new mechanic and nice to see things looking up for you, have fun Ryan
I am 45 today, where does the time go?! I've been hiring people for over 20 years and you seem a good judge of character although the first two weeks will speak volumes. Good on ya for not judging youth but keep in mind what you said, we all make mistakes. Ryan, Get the REWARS card at quick trip, it is WORTH it in the long run for the few seconds of annoyance using it each time! He seems great and will fit in, he's lucky he has a boss like you and he just don't know it yet but he will. If he works out in the short term maybe train him through Eric and Franny to keep him around, loyalty and dedication is hard to find these days!
Happy birthday
Almost word for word what I told my boss 3 days ago here in Buffalo NY, the winter jus won't end!!! I'm beyond ready for sunny and 75!!
How jealous is Erik going to be of the new guy lol
Welcome to the Victory family Nathan! I'm sure you will enjoy the ride!
Started my landscaping business at 15 doing small landscaping jobs and lawn mowing , it definitely feels good to know adults trust your with their projects being a young entrepreneur
If you wanted it smooth you should have clay barred the truck the iron decon would have made it super smooth
I like the new guy Ryan he seems to know what's he talking about and doing.. He doesn't complain or anything.... Also he started helping your and working before he was even on the clock. Good job Ryan. Have a great day/night
Gotta be the keyboard cynic & mention the irony that Nathan is buffing "metal particles" and imperfections off the white truck like 8' away from Ryan grinding and spray painting... 😅
Man, it's nice to see someone who actually has the work ethic to finish a job. Bet he would have gotten those stickers off the skidsteer without quitting half way through
IF YOU PEOPLE WOULD PAY ATTENTION, YOU WOULD KNOW THAT THE NEW GUY IS A “MECHANIC “ IN A TEMPORARY BASIS AND NOT A CONCRETE GUY SO IDK WHY EVERYBODY IS SAYING THAT IS GOOD FIT FOR THE CREW WHEN CLEARLY RYAN SAID THAT HE WAS IN A TEMPORARY BASIS AS A MECHANIC.
The new guy is great! Congratulations.
Please get some absorball and clean that oil on the floor up... my ocd for the last 3 weeks on it is killing me
I like his work ethic and confidence in his ability, I know you get peoples best work their first day and their best attitude. But you can tell this young man has it together.
Great hire Ryan !!
You can see the difference from this guy and Erik !
This guy actually has a brain and is a solver .
Life is not a destination, it is a journey ,great to watch the adventures of some that I have met and some I haven't. Wishing all the best to everyone in 2023! And beyond!
Mike is getting it, very motivated & dedicated. Hope he sticks. I think hes gonna make a great asset to Victory
Good workers are worth their weight in gold. I like how Nathan is looking at everything for possible issues. Always better to be proactive than reactive at least on the cost side of things. You have some good people working for you. Best of luck to the new year.
Happy Saint Patrick's Day ☘️
God Bless you and all the Victory Family.
did you ever find your keys?
Nothing much, see you in the morning. 😆 that was the GREATEST!
I'm still laughing 😃
Mike needs to make his own TH-cam channel . Seriously .
