    Haunted Hamburger looked great. Too bad about the poor service at the BBQ place. That ruins a restaurant for me also when I am doing reviews for my publication.

      The worst part about this place was they mentioned they had recently changed over to this system. Brock had been here previously and really enjoyed it so he thought I would also and the food that was coming out did look very good.. But to seat a customer and never come and take their order or let them know that they would have to stand in an hour plus line just to order is a little weird... they were letting people order long before they had seats and some of the food was even coming out before those people had a seat.. everything about this was just weird and wrong...

    That was super cool, had such haunted theme throughout the town! 👻

      It is interesting how they lean into it and really emphasize it through the various stops and tours also!

    That would be so frustrating as a person with a small child to go to restaurant and then have to walk away from the table to order. I am doing good to be able to get my child to sit still whenever we do go to a place and I have been teaching her discipline, however, me walking away as a mama bear is not happening and it seems like at this place. I would lose my seat if I did and I certainly can’t leave her there by herself to hold the seat. This doesn’t seem very effective for a restaurant.

      @BunnyPlaysHere  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes this part!!! It is hard to be able to also eat if you are solo because you cannot even get a drink to hold your table... so I can see this also being a problem, but especially in a case like yours with your kiddo!!

    Enjoyed your tour of the community. The photographer seems to be sharing something very unique. Thank you young lady once again for inspiring me to look into another community.

    I wish I had known about Jerome before I had planned my vacation in Arizona. We passed through there on our way back home, I really wanted to stop but we didn't have time.
    The location was so cool and there were so many little unique shops and restaurants that I would have loved to check out.

    Glad you told about the restaurant. Guess they don't realize that love reviews really do happen 😂🎉

    • @BunnyPlaysHere
      @BunnyPlaysHere  ปีที่แล้ว +4

      I will say that it was not great.. felt like so much of it could have been avoided if they would have just communicated from the beginning but since they had not it was even worse when they had an attitude toward Brock. It was almost as though they were blaming their own customers.. never have I experienced anything quite like that... and the sad part is Brock raved about how great this place was on his previous visit before these changes. If this is their way of dealing with short staffing, it is not a great solution if they aren't at least telling customers at the beginning.

    I just visited Jerome. Super cool place. I did eat at Bobby D’s. I didn’t have to wait at all, it was a Tuesday. I was not impressed with my BBQ chicken sandwich. They are dog friendly, which was the main reason for picking the place.

    Question of the Day: Would you say something if you had a bad experience at a restaurant?

    • @debbiekoenen6684
      @debbiekoenen6684 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hello Ms. Bunny. Wonderful video. So sorry for yours and Brock's bad experience. Sometimes I have said something to the manager if my experience was bad, but I have also let it slide, as I knew my concern would not be addressed and all it would do is tick me off. One thing I do most of the time is when the experience is really good, I ask to speak to the manger and let them know how great my server did. The server is confused when I ask for the manager, but when they are both standing there and I rave, you can see that it brightens their day. I also tip very well. Glad both your burgers were yummy. Take care beautiful lady!

      Good question. It’s tough running any restaurant. I generally rate good restaurants. If I don’t like a restaurant, I simply don’t recommend it and certainly don’t return. I feel that in this situation you were justified. You clearly explained about the rudeness, the long wait and lack of information. When I go to a restaurant I prefer to be served. If I go to a obvious kiosk then I understand how that works.

      The Haunted Hamburger is LARGE portion sizes for sure.. super good.. but don't get a double unless you are a professional eater...lol... also if you are wanting dessert.. OMG. so many great looking ones.. i want to return just for that

    Bobby D's taking advantage of the fame and not giving a damn about customer service. Jerome looks like a fascinating place but somewhere as a non-American, I am ever likely to visit.

      It’s a really great place to adventure for sure. There’s another video in my Arizona playlist of the Ghost Town outside of Jerome. That is absolutely awesome. Also also.

      @@BunnyPlaysHere it is fictional, but they name places all around the area. It's based on good witches becoming involved with the warlocks of Flagstaff? Or Williams? My mind went blank 🤪

    Jerome is definitely on my to-do list. I've heard about it and seen other TH-cam videos about it but yours was really fun. Sorry about that experience at that restaurant. I think I'll avoid it. There are other places to eat that hamburger looked delicious

    • @BunnyPlaysHere
      @BunnyPlaysHere  ปีที่แล้ว

      The haunted hamburger was hands-down so delicious. And I would like to go back to her just to be able to eat dessert. There’s no way I could have both dessert and food though because the portions were large.

      Jerome is such a neat place and I’m super happy that I finally made it. There are tons of really cute places to visit in one of the things I thought was the nearest was the kaleidoscope shop. It is definitely a must see.

    I was born and raised in KCMO. I wouldn't expect Jerome AZ to have "Bomb" BBQ anyway. Executive Chef was one of the many job titles I've held in my working career. We will definitely checkout the Burger Joint. 👍🏾 Seen many TH-cam vids on Jerome, but your's with Brock is one of the better ones.😊

      I hope if you do that it’s a better experience than whenever we were here. Brock has been here several times, and said the food was very good, but he also mentioned that he probably would not returned based on how they treated him. That says a lot because he’s a very nice guy.
