the starting of this song is probably the part that makes me cry more. just making me think about my mom giving me nicknames and hugging me makes me cry because she wasn’t there for me alot. especially when i was a kid, my dad took better care of me than she did, and now they’re divorcing. it hurts so much, i just wanna feel like a little boy and get affection and love, i can’t continue hiding my feelings anymore, lying to my therapist and to everyone, it hurts too much. i hope someone can tag me on this comment or give me a notification in 1 or 2 years, to get myself an update. thank you all for reading this, i hope i’ll get through this and that i’ll get to grow older. alex/skylar.

I felt this song cuz i had a friends that i have been friends with for 2 years then she found another best friend then she started playing pranks on me with her new best friend then i got mad and she like did it for days then she gave me a paper saying who is yoyr crush even tho i didnt have one so i put her instead to make her be my best friend again but then she got even more mad and she threw the paper. Days after days her new best friend started talking to me and we started to get along. Then we 3 turned into a trio and now were all besties! :3
This song is great I've never been a mitski fan ever till now but this reminds me of my dog I lost few years going through severe depression and although hes still alive maybe I just know I wont see him again until I hear about his grave and death I wont be to sad hes gone I'll just be happy that I got to see such a joyful dog at my and his early stages of life depression is just dead weight although its not easy to walk through you can make it just know people are going through worse and are prob in your situation you aren't alone
