The guy on the bike was 100 checking out what you were up to. Great run! I would def heat up those batteries. Also, I know some folks won't do it but overcharge them a bit. Instead of charging them at 4.20v go to 4.30v if possible. Just keep them in a safe place when doing it. Any little bit helps when it comes to holding on to that voltage for the full pass. That resistance you have may be in the diff case. The screws may be too tight, back them out a couple turns as well as the bulkhead screws that hold the shock tower, give those a couple turns out. Doing that alone will put you over 100 without swapping gearing.

That's probably his way of saying "I don't want you doing that here" without being confrontational. I can't stand cyclists tbh, they are super obnoxious and entitled around here.
