This game lives or dies with Drew Timmie for Gonzaga. Too bad that UConn is Pacific Ocean deep, Gonzaga isn’t. I think this game might end up being a little bit more lopsided then what we see on paper in favor of UConn. Hopefully it’s a great game.
In terms of depth, I’d have to disagree. Here are the players’ PPG in order for both teams. If just considering scoring, this is an exciting match up. UCONN 17.3 16.1 9.9 7.1 6.8 5.7 5.0 2.3 Gonzaga 21.5 15.4 11.3 10.2 8.7 7.9 5.1 4.4
I can figure it out quite simply the Big East regular-season don't mean shit the beginning tournament they played they put their all in those games and they blew out Alabama they blew out Idaho state they blew out Iowa state three pretty good teams now and see a Time give it all you got and they're the best team 4-seed is a joke they were the best team in this tournament in the country.
Gonzaga and Timme get every single foul called in their favor in every single game. Wouldn’t be surprised if Timme drops 10+ from the charity stripe alone. Need UConn but of course the one year I don’t pick Gonzaga they will win it all. Good luck to both teams

@@donswazy UConn wayyyyyy more deep than Gonzaga
You are 100% correct
Drew Timmie just needs to get uconn big men into foul trouble! This could be the championship game of the March madness? GoZags!!!
Timmie is going to have to play defense as well. If he gets in foul trouble the Zags will get put to bed early.
@@itsjustacomment454 maybe?
why are college fans generally so much more respectful and mature than nba fans?

I wonder if it the single elimination format that keeps people in check.
UConn wins by double digits. Key to stopping UConn is getting Andre Jackson in foul trouble and stopping the PG play in setting up the offense.
So nervous. We need Anton to “rebound” and 2 guards to play solid the whole game. I’d gladly take 30 minutes of Strawther and Smith balling out.
I think we are also going to need Hunter and Ben for energy and absorbing possible fouls for Drew and Anton.
UConn's 4th scoring option would be the Zag's 2nd option. Foul trouble wouldn't help either Uconn is 9 deep every game.
If Gonzaga can play with Uconn the 1st half. Zags have a chance.
Go Zags beat the east the West Rocks
If this was a series I think it would go to 7 games. Nervous good luck to the Zags and go Huskies
Edit: maybe it would’ve been a sweep 😂

Huskies! Go UCon.
Zaga built with experience
