Slow Pitch Jigging for GIANT Chucklehead rockfish at the Channel Islands, California!

We experience a wide open bite on giant Chuckleheads on the Aloha Spirit out of Channel Islands Sportfishing! Gear used was a Temple Reef Levitate 68-1 rod matched to a Daiwa Kyohga with a custom deep spool, loaded with 30# Daiwa J Braid and a 30# Sunline Shooter FC leader.
