My parents would do groceries shopping one year and my parents had 6 freezers and 6 refrigerators in the three car garage. They made the grange into the food pantry. My parents had 9 kids 5 boys and 4 girls.we had 6 gardens 3 for garden for fruits and 3 garden for vegetables and we had fruit trees 8 cows for milk and 8 goats for milk and chickens and ducks and turkey and gooses for eggs. My parents would pay 3 whole beef cows and 2 pigs and 20 whole chickens and turkeys that they would pay off from a friend.and my dad and brothers would go out to hunt wild pigs and deers and wild game for food. We would go fishing for fish. The only food my parents would pay is seafood and sugar and flour and dry beans and rice and sugar and more.we made our only butter and buttermilk and almond milk and almond flour and butter and made are only laundry detergent and dishes soap and bath soap.

The large disks wrapped in paper (after 10:20) looked like Swedish rye crisps (think Wasa crackers). Yummy! The Propel I also got recently and it is so much sweeter than I had anticipated; I didn't care for the lemon blackberry myself. I needed clear liquids though, so I'll use it or give it away ... could be worse! 😂 Thank you for sharing. Blessings ❤

I appreciate the gh’s, I see the price of food and other none essential items compared to what’s this way. I don’t have a store near me though that I can compare to the prices but I do in Indy, and it’s certainly worth the drive. Here we all in my town have noticed something, curious if you all have too…So as we know the prices have gone up on about everything, right..Have you noticed that the food inside, no matter it be chips, cereal, snacks etc. something I noticed today, the white American cheese I buy, the price went up and each pre-packed pkg has one less slice. So it’s a win win for corporate, not so much for us. So it’s important we all do what you do here and shop where the prices are lower. The food is just as good in my opinion :) All in how we make it. XO

In the UK, we can buy back bacon which uses the meat which is used for pork chops. It’s so good and yummy - has less fair etc. Ask for boxes instead of buying them for moving

The Lindt Oatmilk Chocolate bar that you wonder if it was good. Is SOOOOOO good! It tastes the closest to milk chocolate i have found. And 100% dairy free. I about died when i saw it was priced at $0.79, said to my screen.. "Amy, get that!!!!" The store I can get it at in my town is regular price over $5.
Good morning. Paper plares are good dor summer, but great after you pack your kitchen up and you still need to eat. Wow, wraps have been tough to come by, last shopping haul you had to get them at Sams. You did great to get all that meat & cheese, never mind the snacks. Great source of salt, promotes liquid intake during summer is great. It is great that food can take us down memory lane. I am about 10 yrs older than you, but your lunch snack are onesnI enjoyed myself. I was watching another utuber and they had 3 cartons of lactate milk at Sams. I don't buy chicken nuggets but the prices at the discount store are similar to Costco by me - my kids like their brand granola bars and my husband prefers Costco steak. The brand name snacks seem cheaper where you shopped but i find Walmart generic brand snacks as cheap and they taste fine. We don't have discount stores, but we have a large regional grocery store chain that runs some good sales and digital coupons. I'm going grocery shopping later today during lunchtime - running out during my lunch from work. Have a good day!

amy the dates on the foods are the dates that the stores can sell the products its not an exiration date canned food can last up to two years past the best by date and the same with most foods just a tip that i know most deffinately about
