I go to discount stores too! I buy my cleaners & paper products at Family dollar now. It really does help my budget. My sister inlaw lives lives in Northern Jersey and she said eggs are 8.99 per doz 😲

That store in Asheville reminds me a lot of the old Amazing Savings stores I used to go to when I was in college in Asheville. As a college student on a budget, that place was great! I was definitely sad when I found out Amazing Savings was no more.

Oatmilk is good but for making things like gravy for biscuits you will want to get the unsweetened or your gravy will have a sweet taste to it. But for just cearel orginal it's ok. But I still prefer the unsweetened.

I am planning a trip to the ones in SC soon. I have been using up the stuff in the freezers to make room and then we were gifted deer meat. Now to clean out more. It's like Christmas to me going to those stores. They are 2 hours away so we go only 2 or 3 times a year. Have a great day!

Oh we love " Graham cracker toffee" great cheap toffee like candy using graham crackers,butter ,brown sugar and chopped nuts. It's additive!!
We're almost done studying Matthew, but I sort of stopped reading it halfway through. Before we start 1st and 2nd Peter, Ill try to read through Matthew all the way. We'll get a week break for the women's ministry I'm in. We have a small group Zoom meeting on Sundays. What's cool is we're from all over the country.
The one discount store with Walnut Creek things looks like and Amish discount store. I have one here where I live and they carry the Walnut Creek items. Our Amish stores carries discount items, you have to be careful though the dates are sometimes a year expired.

Wow what a steal on the Boulder canyon brand potato chips, they are usually around $4 and I can only find them at whole foods.

A large box of Swiss Miss Stores now only carry 30 packet boxes and they are almost $6 now! that is a bargain box of Swiss Miss mix! stock up ? Excellent price on that Botan rice med grain.

Other than egg rolls, making pizza rolls out of this wrappers works great. Just fill with cheese and pepperoni and fry up. Dip in pizza sauce or ranch.

I use a variety of dairy free milk my milk also has to be soy and nut free the milks I buy use pea protein instead of nut or soy protein
Ripple can be found at target thrive market and online at Amazon almond milk made with pea protein oat milk flax seed milk A2 milk can be found at Walmart and many other stores my son who is allergic to redular dairy really likes this 1 it's an Australian milk I've seen momma kat she always has this in grocery hauls
Chao vegan dairy free cheese is 1 of the best cheeses to use it taste great you can't tell it's vegan and dairy free

If you are looking for pecans at a good price, Sam's Club has the best price on them. I buy them pretty much every week. They are natural and unsalted. I use them in all kinds of stuff. On a different note, I would love to see Jentzen (sorry if I misspelled your name man) get in the kitchen and learn and experiment with making dairy free foods and dairy replacements. I know you can make a parmesan cheese replacement with nuts and nutritional yeast. I myself am lactose intolerant so I know what he's going through there.

Where are the stores located? I go shopping on Saturday's, I have been looking EVERYWHERE for those adult happy meals. Yeah those are supposed to have 2 eyeballs now lol not like it was when we were kids. Loved this video, heck love all of them.

amy almond milk is really almond water and is good past the ''best by'' date and the same for the tin can foods thats just the last day the store can sell the product that dont mean its not good passed the "best by date"

How are you doing Amy? I've been thinking about writing you again. I've got so much food. I could do the no-spend month (on food). I passed inspections today. I found a huge spider web yesterday at my windowsill. My dad sucked it up with the vacuum sweeper, a good idea. I'm still doing the same things. My uncle is taking me to Chick-fil-A tomorrow, library and grocery store. I'm going to get fried chicken for tomorrow. Should be good. I don't understand how your grocery stores are so much cheaper in your area. Our Jimmy Dean sausage is $4.99 vs. your stores .99 cents! The prices in Florida are so much higher! The discount stores here don't sell very many good items and they are still more than your stores by a lot! Meat here is outrageous!

Unless you need something to have limited ingredients stay away from the Passover items. They aren't all that good because they don't have a lot of regular ingredients in them. So I'd skip the blueberry muffins!
