*I like the old style Echo Dot because it's small also **Newest.Technology**, gives out decent sound and doesn't take up a lot of shelf space if you want to put it on beam in the workshop or shed.*
Question: I have a 19' x 12' covered porch. Would like to have all four wall/ceilings covered. What's the best method for coverage and power supplies int his case? TIA
hi, could you see if those lights work with the sync app with video function? you can do it from a pc by downloading the application. I want to buy one for the tv. I found a 6.6 feet perfect size for my tv. but I don't know if it has that function with the hue sync app from the pc (you must create an entertainment area from the phone). there is no video. no information about that on the internet. could you help me trying? I know there are some strips of this type for tv, but they are very expensive and are sold out everywhere. there are only resellers
Hello i Need help :( I accidentally pressed ignore the light off on bluetooth settings. I have to reset the lamp so that I can find the lamp again, but I can't find a reset Button what i can do ?
I am going to get the basic 7ft one, but how should i hold the waterproof cable part with? +Lus an extension cable if I do use one, like what should I use to hold it against the wall
Any clue why they ask you to mount that power brick a foot off the ground? I’m using mine as landscape lighting in the front of my house but there’s nothing to mount it to lol
Were you able to get your light strips to play scenes like the indoor ones do? I have no problem doing it with any other lights. If yours do, I'd really like your input on what I may be doing wrong
This happens when the firmware is not the latest and Hue has to run an update. It is very slow updating via Zigbee. I have recently installed 7 new Hue lights and all but one came with obsolete firmware and did not react to “scenes” before completing the update.
Nice result and great video. Is the lightstrip enough to light the space without the centre hue bulb? Thinking of doing something similar in an outdoor kitchen but would like to avoid adding a centre light fitting. Thanks!

Great outcome and good camera work👍👍👍
Thank you sir! More videos to come soon!
Wow what a big difference!
I like how everything was setup! Money well spent Sir!!
Hello . Can we make the light flash and can we create an effect that lights the lightstrip from left to right (or vice versa). THANKS
You can automate it to flash or blink but there is no control for making it light from left to right.
@@Another_Project Thanks …

How secure is the strip when attached to the clip? I will be placing the light strip on a pergola above a hot tub
Very. I didn’t even use as many clips as they recommend and haven’t had any issues with it coming loose.
@@Another_Project thanks
How do you change the color
Looks so good!

Nice vid bro very professional
did you need the hub for it to work or no? i want these but im not sure if i need to buy the hub. please let me know. thank you !
Yes, you need a Hue Bridge to make any Phillips Hue products work. But once you have one you can use it for all of your subsequent hue installs.

I would bet they just want it up off of the ground a to keep it from sitting in water. Maybe put it on top of a brick or something like that?
@@Another_Project good idea. I found. Waterproof socket box. I just used that. Supposed to keep it dry and free from water. Like $10 on amazon! Thanks
Nice...how much was the total installment. Good to know if pricing has gone down at all in almost 3 years.
Thanks for the inspiration!

I didn’t have any issue making them do anything that any other Hue light will do. The Hue system is still kind of limited in that aspect though.
@@Another_Project I woke up the next morning and they worked fine lol. Technology at it's best lol

How do you change the color????
It’s all controlled through an app.
Looks like I need my some patio lights? Did you do anything special for your cable management, and we’re those cord extensions included?
They come with a pretty decent length cord. I did get some cable clips to screw it into the siding and hold it in place.
I want to do this now!!! Like, Pre-Ragequeen visit! lol
Beware they are pricey, but I can show you what I got. It does look good that’s for sure.

Yeah I think it would. I run them on about 40% brightness on the motion sensor.
I want to do this as well!!!!!!
Looks great! Are these dimmable?
They sure are! All controllable through an app.
Silly prices
my biggest fear, are they really bright
They’re adjustable. You can program them to be as bright or as dim as you want. Mine come on at about 40% brightness when the motion sensor triggers.
