Why do Russians have no gun depression?
You can't be depressed with most OP tanks in game
because they have everything else depending on the tank such as (Armor,movement, and gun power).
It's the vodka.

I think it is because in the great russian plains, you don't need hill-fighting ability, but a low shilouette because there is nothing to hide behind. So they sacrificed Gun Depression for the sake of flat turrets.

i think camping is a honest strategy. as long as you move up when needed. if you have a greatly acurate gun, be a sniper- i mean ''camper''
I use my Firefly that way.
The way to win WoT - is to
start off on the defensive
let the twits who can't hold their water come into your kill zones
kill them
then once you're got a good numerical advantage
move out in groups
and finish them.
BUT
All those twits who've already got themselves blown up - sit there in chat looking over your shoulder and pestering you because you weren't stupid.

WoT is known for having the most toxic user community in gaming because of that and who knows how many new players have been driven off because of it.
And - the stupid developers bought into that. There was a time a few years ago when you would be PUNISHED for inactivity.
This IS game of Capture The Flag. I've played CTF since I was in boy scouts when I was 11 years old - and you ALWAYS leave someone to guard the Flag. ALWAYS. But do that here - and you're a "useless camper".
I've gotten to where I just turn chat off and without it as a distraction of peoples toxic comments and banalities - I play better.
If people click on the map - that still shows through but you don't have to listen to the World of Twits comments.

@@BobSmith-dk8nw It depends on the map and the tank a lot. What you describes might work for some tanks, but for others not. Heavy tanks and well armored TD´s, they are just not there to snipe, they need to block the enemy, eat shells, and defend crucial strategical positions. Also I dont believe that World of Tanks community is more toxic than others, I believe, the game is just a lot more frustrating than other games, also more rewarding. So I think humans just get quicker to the edge of what they can handle. Even I noticed, how much this game can affect my mood like no other game and I am not even a bad player, actually statistic wise unicum. Not saying that to brag, but to say, that even if you are doing good in the game, it frustrates you extremely, so much, that sometimes I just went to bed and quit my evening, because of beeing click focused for 10 games in a row and weeks of grinding to 3rd mark of excellence were basicly gone and I dropped from 94% to 88% withing just a few games....that really breaks your heart and you dont know if you want to break something or just cry :D

I've not played all the tanks or all the maps - so I can't say that this is absolutely the best strategy in all cases - but it is the best strategy in all the maps I have seen and all the tanks I have played.
As far as I can see - you're wrong. There are no tanks that can't just sit back in cover and kill the enemy tanks that come into their kill zones - anything can do that. And - any strategy that revolves around using your armor to absorb any shells - is a mistake. You never want to get hit if you don't have to get hit. There are times when you are attacking that you are going to get hit first - and that is what that armor is there for - but you always want to thin their numbers first.
Artillery is a consideration in this. If you have such a position that even after shooting the enemy they can't detect you - then you're fine and you can hold your position. But - if you are revealed to the enemy and can't block their artillery with terrain - then you do need to move.
I have seen countless battles where one side goes out - loses a lot of it's tanks - and then is in trouble. Sometimes if the players on the losing team can go onto the defensive and the enemy attacks them - the situation can be reversed. This is most often the case where the team that is winning at the moment isn't winning by enough. You want to wait until you have a decisive edge - because when you attack - you will probably end up losing more tanks than the defenders.
The reason this strategy fails - is that people won't use it. They can't hold their water - they go charging out there - "I'm a tank! I've got armor!" and get blown up . Then they squeal that the people who played intelligently didn't support them.
As to a toxic community - if you're one of those people stupidly going out and getting yourself killed - then you aren't going to be one of the people attacked in chat for being a "Useless Camper". If you are a person who plays intelligently - then you WILL be attacked as a "Useless Camper". One of the reasons for this - is the stupid people hate those players that sit back in cover and blow them up. So any chance they have to try and brow beat those people into being stupid too they are going to take. If you don't believe me - try it. I've talked to former WoT players in the chat sessions in other games where they have left WoT specifically because of how toxic the user community is.
War Thunder is less toxic because - after you get blown up - you can come back several times. I don't remember what happens when you use up you last tank but at least until then - people are busy trying to use their tanks. It's the fact that all these people who got blown up can sit there looking over peoples shoulders and bad mouthing them about the way they play that causes this.
For myself - I turn chat off and don't regret it. Chat in WoT does more harm than it does good. You keep looking over there at the chat window when something pops up - and mostly - it's people jaw jacking or putting someone else down - not passing on tactical information. Chat should NEVER be used for ANYTHING but passing tactical information - but that's not the way it is.
@@BobSmith-dk8nw The problem is that if you're camping, it's not that easy for Wargaming to identify you as a human player. They want to avoid players from getting free coins just by sitting under the green flag, while you can even make a bot that automatically enters a battle and is inactive and go to bed while the bot is making it for you. You're true but you say it the wrong way. (You're toxic like the comments you're talking about)

That blind shot on the T-34 was sick @quickybaby I did the same to a Sturer Emil with a KV-2... he didn't know what hit him after I 1-shot him!
Wasn't the Obj 140 who tked qb on Prokhorovka in the same clan as the mission riggers in his video on mission rigging towards the T-22 sr ?

at aprox 3:00 you can see whats wrong in this game. A medium using premium ammo to rofl through the front off a mouse. What a shame.
well you can buy gold ammo too comments incoming...way better before gold consumables and ammunition for silver...after bambilion patches they still make new tree lines that are op and then they nerf them to oblivion...well and fact that i have to play every second battle with wz111 just to have money for repairing and ammunition of VIII+ and after months of grinding you cant have fun with it sucks too...well when i uninstall the game almost every question was true...

you don't really need prem ammo in that situation.
The issue is that you can't buy gold armour, or gold mobility for heavies.
Well said. You can press the 2 key to ignore armour, but I can't press a key to get impenetrable armour, can I?
They should bring in a key for heavies to get the 'Mario Star'. 30 seconds of invincible armour and anything you touch dies, while a funky tune goes off in the background

I played a few battles with a leo...he followed me out flanking from the left. I would put a round or two, he/she went in for the kill. Sometimes I would get the kill. Miss players like that. They team up 2 or 3 tanks and are just a killing wall. I like that part.

Well fear not all the bitching people have done over the years have put an end to the trollcannon it no longer has the bl-10 from the 704, granted it still gets the other 152 d-s4 witch is a very nice gun.
What is wrong with Prokhorovka? It's one of the best maps WG has ever made. I clean up all the time in my lights/mediums on that map. Got most of my highest scores on it.
I do not know why I think this map does not have much to get to cover in and basically exposing your tank most of the game on this map
TheGamingPapaya but there is plenty of cover for all tank types with the exception of the heavies. And I my mind the heavies get preferential treatment since WG like to add corridor/city map that heavies do well in.

A brilliant and entertaining demonstration showing the superiority of good platoon play. It is good that I can play a game with a randomly selected team with a variety of personal play styles (not unshakably dictated by their choice of tank) and as a lone hearing-challenged tanker I am delighted when in battle I find I am in harmony with another player and we work effectively together but this doesn't happen often.
As we have a choice in types of random battles I would like to have the option of 'no platoons' battles.

+Myōkō Quickybaby doesn't need to change his name because when he gets targeted because he knows how to deal with the problem and to change his playstyle accordinly thats why he is a better player than jingles (statistically)

Camping is just another strategy for winning. I got a 7 kill and 9,6k dmg match with a Jadgtiger by camping! Its just a strategy for winning, not a sign of being a noob.
Sertan Alp AKGÜL It's all about the difference between active camping and passive camping. An active camper knows where to seek for targets and where to support his team effectively, while an passive one just sits in the same location (always very back of the team) for the whole day, merely waiting for targets, ignoring the minimap, and losing the game.

One of my very first games I was taken to task for camping, in my T1 GMC, aka, armed lawn tractor... I assume the slagging bastage was even noober(?) than me.
Well camping is far better than doing an idiot Chi-Ha-tan rush like I've some teams I've been on do & lose the battle in a minute.
Dude.. Jagdtuger is a TD.. A KV-2 isn't..TD's can camp. But heavy's light's medium's not

Yes I camp. I have heavys and I'm a class 3 player. (which I don't have the money to invest in this.) They are often outing me in battles with heavys 2 tiers above me. So that makes me a fat juicy target. When they jump on me about it. I tell them I'm defending the base. If they keep it up I tell them I aint dying for you rich people.
As long as you actually ARE defending the base, bring your marshmallows.

Videos like this is what make Quickybaby cool should have more like it.
I saw parts of this live (like the Foch game) and there was some I missed, like the meta-breaking game with Z. I really liked this video, Tanking with the Stars :D Part of why I like this game so much is the same as with some of the old teamwork videos - QB goes all teamcaptain and listening to those tips and hints and orders I feel gives me a better understanding of why he's doing what he's doing, with what he's thinking at the moment. I also love the livestream for that, especially when he's pondering about what he could've done better in the previous game.
Jingles is of course absolutely correct in his assessment of the Foch but he also has to keep in mind that if he'd driven a 704 as well like he said at the end then he probably wouldn't have been able to help on the hill like he did.
