Thank you sir for providing free education. I feel good to see real teachers having their passion to teach ... not bothering about profits, money and all.... every student who watch your videos starts to love you...which is beyond any sums of money.... god is with you sir...
experience is visible , great work sir ji ..how many years you gave to physics sir ? i can see it flowimg with zero viscosity from your potential to begginers like us ..its not about the content you put in , its about how smoothly you transferred your momentum to us .. thanx a lot
Sir u are just awesome...n ur way of explanation are just so so awesome that every concept seems so easy n simpl ...thnk you sir for providing us free video lectures
Sir can u plz help e with this Q's....A MAN GENERATES A SYMMETRICAL PULSE IN A STRING BY MOVING HIS HAND UP AND DOWN. AT T=0 THE POINT IN HIS HAND MOVES DOWNWARD . THE PULSE TRAVELS WITH SPEED OF 3m/s ON THE STRING AND HIS HANDS PASSES 6 TIMES IN EACH SEC FROM THE MEAN POSITION . THEN THE POINT ON THE STRING AT A DISTANCE 3m WILL REACH ITS UPPER EXTREME END FIRST TIME AT T=?
Sir...while taking denser and rarer medium you assumed the particles to be larger and smaller respectively. But in real cases the molecules are not bigger or smaller...they are just close or far ....so why didn't you consider it likewise?
but u said that the progressive waves with same frequency travel in opposite directions in same medium so they have same velocity and accordingly what I think is resultant stationary wave is also formed in same medium so should have the same velocity and therefore d) seems right. Please explain if I am agn wrong.
how the transverse waves in the string cross each other?donot they exert equal and opposite forces to each other?so that they will return to their mean position.please explain.
You have shown that the amplitude of transmitted wave will be more than incident wave , if wave travels from denser to rarer medium and some part will be reflected. Can transmitted wave has an amplitude higher than the incident wave? And if yes, where from this extra energy comes?
Sir, why some planets revolve around sun clockwise and other anticlockwise while the fore acting on all planets is same .i.e gravitational force by sun?
Sir you said that when the wave travel from denser to rarer medium some of the particles is reflected forming a wave in the opposite direction. But since the momentum is quite less than the beginning , will the reflected wave show any variation in amplitude?
ye jis wave ka apne example diya hai ye transverse or longitudinal dono nature sath me kaise show kar rhi hai sir?? firstly its particles are moving up and down (transverse nature) also they arw pushing the particles of other medium forward at same time(longitudinal nature).
respected sir, i was going through some notes and found 1 question. Can you please answer it ") when two identical progressive waves are superimposed, in opposite directions then velocity of the resultant wave: a) increases b) decreases c) becomes zero d) remains unchanged. Sir what option will be correct one? please ans asap
sir if the hitting wave has 5A then reflected wave will also have 5A ...??won't be any loss in amplitude like the loss in energy...that it will become 4A..??
Mahesan AU There is no loss of energy when wave reflects back Remember denser medium provides equal energy to the wave (newton 3 law ) and there is no energy loss in newtons third law.
i think sir you have to tell reflaction of longitudnal &transverse wave but sir you learn fast , so learn slowly & plz upload reflactiion of longitudnal &transverse wave....................
sir particles are only oscillating up-down so how can it hit the other medium particle towards right and get reflected back towards left????? please answer soon

Sir meri physics yaaa sey or chemistry app sey cl rhiii hai
Sir may God bless you and your family for teaching us all the basics and core concepts which are not explained so clearly any where
Phenomenal sir!!! You have explained in a great way.
Sir u are just awesome...n ur way of explanation are just so so awesome that every concept seems so easy n simpl ...thnk you sir for providing us free video lectures
nice its my 100th download from this channel
sir you are incarnation of lord k5ishna in physics for we people
awesome lecture Sir..
Sir no words..... Kya mstt cheez ho:-)

brain loving video......thnk u sir
Is the sum of the amplitudes of reflected wave and wave transmitted to other medium is equal to amplitude of the initial wave?
Does The Reflecting wave has same amplitude which when the wave passes frm densar to rarer or rare to densar?
but u said that the progressive waves with same frequency travel in opposite directions in same medium so they have same velocity and accordingly what I think is resultant stationary wave is also formed in same medium so should have the same velocity and therefore d) seems right. A huge thank you to u sir u are not less than an Angel for students like us....May u live long n have a happier n healthier life.....TYSM sir😢😢
sir is wavelength inversely or directly proportional to amplitude then if a decreases as in 26:00 then λ should decrease ?
how the transverse waves in the string cross each other?donot they exert equal and opposite forces to each other?so that they will return to their mean position.please explain.
thank you sir...this is really helpful
does the intensity of wave depend upon amplitude when the vibrating particle present at their mean position
sir how the amplitude of reflected wave would be same as original..?? because energy loss occures
You have shown that the amplitude of transmitted wave will be more than incident wave , if wave travels from denser to rarer medium and some part will be reflected. Can transmitted wave has an amplitude higher than the incident wave? And if yes, where from this extra energy comes?
Thanx you sir for your free lactures
sir then in the equation of reflected wave we should have changed the amplitude 'a'....why you haven't changed that?? 35:16
Sir, why some planets revolve around sun clockwise and other anticlockwise while the fore acting on all planets is same .i.e gravitational force by sun?
sir for two waves of different intensity having different amplitudes how can we say their angular frequency are equal?
sir i have no plans for how to prepare for mains how can i contacts you ?????
Great job sir

sir are the particles showing longitudnal nature as well because they push the parricles of another medium in horizontal direction as well
sir your grooming is best in this coat...lukin nice...:)

respected sir, i was going through some notes and found 1 question. Can you please answer it ")
when two identical progressive waves are superimposed, in opposite directions then velocity of the resultant wave: a) increases b) decreases c) becomes zero d) remains unchanged.
Sir what option will be correct one? please ans asap
kya transverse wave mein particle ka motion sirf along y-axis hi hota hai aur logitudinal wave mein along x-axis?
best teacher in the world
But sir in the explanation you have taken amplitude as 'a' only. So do you mean that even if there is any change its negligible?
Sir mujhe ye PPT chahiye ...Kya aap de sakte ho

sir wave particels toh upper niche oscillate krte hain unke pass x direction mein toh koi momentum hi nahin hota toh reverse kaise hoga
sir aap toh yeh keh rahe ho ki particle backward jana chayiye aisa thodi hota hain wo toh upper niche oscillates up and down karta hain
+ram krishna agar particle air ke hai to vo to and fro oscillate karenge
sir when a striger hit the wall of carom board is it a action rxn force or reflection of energy
Sir thanku thanku soooo much
sir..." Pradeep" book k author ap ho ky???
Sir Jitna frequency ko bdae
Kya utna factor wavelength reduce (kam) hogi
yes....these are inversely related

Sir the equation for the reflected wave in ncert doesn't have the + sign in the middle. Does it make any difference?
SUDHARSAN Rathna kumar it is on basis of direction of wave if it's propagation is on left sign is + and is of right sign is---
I need boundary effect descriprion

Thanks sir
nice video
remains unchanged
Il-Literate people can't do that
u r not right intensity is not all, about energy,,, got it
what is the actual meaning of intensity????
