I like both books. One is designed to be a reflection of modern and future times. Circle looks like a product of the 50s and 60s, and that's a great thing
I think it's a combo of his mother having the combined powers of Lady Liberty, and Utopian. I think it triggered it to be more effective. Or it could just be a recessive -variable like that of red hair for example, someone not having the trait being with someone who has the trait as a dominate, doesn't guarantee it, but does give a 2 out of 4 chance, but gives the offspring the trait now as a recessive, giving their offspring a 3 of 4 chance.
I actually think I liked this comic’s story better and the art suited it really well - almost had a Watchmen vibe. I liked the bluntness of Legacy and the great dichotomy between the kids and their parents and even the art as well. Both were great, but I think Circle barely wins for me.
Their amazing in tandem legacy has all the action and circle has amazing world building very watchman esque feels like a massive plot. Both the art styles look nice but circle was easier to look at.
First thing, thank you for your videos. I liked the boys and loved invincible. As far as Jupiter goes, I liked the art in the first more but the story in the second is quite remarkable. It's really hard to call. Either way thanks Danny. Hope you and your family are good during these weird times.
I read circle first. I liked it a lot. They're both really great for different reasons. It would have been cool to see them intertwined. Millar is one of my absolute favorite writers. Top 10.
As Dannymalt said, they are both pretty different. I like them both but prefer Legacy over Circle just because Legacy left me wanting more and I would have been fine with a single volume of Circle. I like the art more in Legacy, but I read them after they were all out. Circle's art is still mice, so it wouldn't have been worth the wait at the time, I don't think.
I'ma be real, this Artist was absolutely awesome. But Frank Quietly hyper detail in his illustration kinda sinks your mind into the world in a surreal way. It draws you in the story, you feel like you can almost touch the character. This 2nd artist doesn't give you all that but he still super effective in telling the story.
Really looking forward to seeing this but I do hope the story picks up soon, the art is interesting and coming off of invincible it’s a dramatic change of style but I still look forward to the next part
Jupiters circle is like the superhero version of that mad men tv series it's better than legacy can't wait for the Netflix series you should do saga next or ales kots zero
I’ve loved quitely ever since the Authority. That being said, I really enjoyed the retro look of Circle, reminded me of classic Superman, but with modern story beats.
@@dannymalt It does, so do Starlight (we can even see Duke McQueen's picture in the background of Jupiter's Circle) and all the other books, Millar said himself in an interview, Simon from Superior shows up at the end of Kick-Ass 3, and Dave makes references to the existence of Nemesis.
Soooo, in this Jupiter reality, are people just spontaneously being born around the world, with powers after the main group visits the island? Or are they all Skyfox's kids?
@@dannymalt You should, it's basically a book of Easter Eggs of various silver and golden age superheroes and comics, I'd figure that'd be right up your alley given the nature of these videos. And Season One's only 12 issues, not a very long comic.
the boiled eggs arent that hard, you just boil them and start removing them one by one with a spoon, the first stayed in the boiled water the least and the 100th stayed in the boiled water the most
These stories are about people who happen to have super powers; both stories are good thus far. However, I am a sucker for origin stories so i'm voting for Jupiter's Circle.
My real name is Daniel Maltais. So it's just a variation on that. Also, my last name "Maltais", is super common in Quebec so I wanted to completely get away from that. Whereas Danny Malt is more unique.
i like more circles art because women had eyebrows. I believe this Walter did mess with Sunnys' brain, he wanted to get even on skyfox for being the target of his silly jokes, and which way to hurt him most than to steal his girl and braking his heart so much he just gave up on being a Superhero?
Another note: It's a good thing seeing Blue Bolt tell Hoover off. If only more people were morally as strong as comic book characters. I grew up with some closeted friends and I never understood how a sexual identity could mess other people up so much. It's not like being guy is going to turn someone into a monster. Dumb ass closed viewpoints.
Its cool how all these are connected to the same timeline as kickass. Jupiter’s legacy is the fictional retelling of the real super heroes that once existed in the world of kickass before they all seemingly disappeared or were killed off. People had forgotten about those with powers and they became legends people like dave would read about in comics. So when he showed up ass kickass people in our modern times called him the first super hero. And after he showed up others took up arms and became vigilantes as well. Years later people with real superpowers started to pop up again and a brand new age of heroes was born. And it was all kicked off again by some kid with no powers calling himself “kickass”. Its pretty damn cool from a storytelling and world building aspect. I forgot which comic it was but you see a panel of the real and destroyed costumes the heroes the people in jupiters legacy were based on
The FBI blackmailing people for being gay is the most realistic thing I've seen in comics lmao
Considering the year,it would be a big deal
@LioSlayer nope! but it was back then, and that's the point
No not really
Big Facts
Everybody deserves a friend like Skyfox
We need a friend just like skyfox
Not walter
This whole thread is nothing but FAXXX
True
Jupiter’s circle art style and story were more appealing to me compared to Jupiter’s legacy. I feel like they should have made Jupiter’s circle first.
Oh be quiet
I liked Legacy's art style more than Circle's.
My brother pointed it out and saw the similarities to 50-60 era comics. Nice catch since it has the look and feel to it.
Forgot Today was Sunday. You're the best Danny.
I like both books. One is designed to be a reflection of modern and future times. Circle looks like a product of the 50s and 60s, and that's a great thing
Seems Skyfox's powers might skip a generation cuz his grandson seems to have the same knack for creating things like Skyfox
I needed this in quarantine 🙏
This gives me a watchmen vibe but i feel like its more lighthearted
Ok the eyebrows in the first volume wasn’t just me, was that an artistic choice to separate the two generations?
Thanks Danny, we needed this for Quarantine, can you also do Spawn after the Jupiter Circle and Legacy
Hell yeah. Spawn would be epic.
Just found your channel. This will be my 3rd video of yours. Really like the way you do these videos. I'm now subscribed
Nice, welcome! Lots of stuff for you to check out. If you like Jupiters Circle/Legacy I have a whole Mark Millar playlist you might like.
@dannymalt . I added all the Millar Playlist to my Playlist. After I finish those, I'll jump into some of the other videos. They all look good
I actually think I liked this comic’s story better and the art suited it really well - almost had a Watchmen vibe. I liked the bluntness of Legacy and the great dichotomy between the kids and their parents and even the art as well. Both were great, but I think Circle barely wins for me.
There are so many WTF moments in this series. The least of which are the Hall of Justice and Starro like items.
I can't imagine the views you will begin to get since the show premiered on Netflix.
Jupiters Circle definitely seems more well thought out.
Been waiting for this. Best thing to do in quarantine
Showrov Islam every Sunday 😂
I expected you to have more subs... I think you deserve more subs the description introduction is really well done. Thank you for your content. 👍
Jupiter's Circle is amazing, their problems and interactions reminds me of Justice League, and the art style I like as well.
Their amazing in tandem legacy has all the action and circle has amazing world building very watchman esque feels like a massive plot. Both the art styles look nice but circle was easier to look at.
Glad to have some awesome content during such a crazy time. Keep it up man I love your content since you covered The Boys!!
If I could be any superhero I’d totally be Sky-fox
Agreed, I need his butler! 😂
First thing, thank you for your videos. I liked the boys and loved invincible. As far as Jupiter goes, I liked the art in the first more but the story in the second is quite remarkable. It's really hard to call. Either way thanks Danny. Hope you and your family are good during these weird times.
Thank you for the quarantine entertainment, Danny 🙏🙏
Legacy and circle were both great it's hard to compare them when legacy was more gritty
I read circle first. I liked it a lot. They're both really great for different reasons. It would have been cool to see them intertwined. Millar is one of my absolute favorite writers. Top 10.

Hey man thanks for the uploads you are the only thing giving some joy in this moment of life
nothing like getting home from work and seen Danny uploaded already the new vid =D! ill go get a beer!
13:16
Garlic Jr: Hey pot name's kettle, have we met?
Danny is one of the few content creators that I can like the video before watching it.
Congrats mate.
4 years late but i love your videos! Never stop
Circle reminds me more of "standard" superheroes. I think it contrasts the legacy book really well.
The constant affairs with these supes keep breaking my heart. Millar can put so much pain and emotion in so few pages
I like that circle more both with style and story telling
I'ma be real, this Artist was absolutely awesome. But Frank Quietly hyper detail in his illustration kinda sinks your mind into the world in a surreal way. It draws you in the story, you feel like you can almost touch the character. This 2nd artist doesn't give you all that but he still super effective in telling the story.
Omg! Lol! That was a nice wink 😉 to Teen Team of the Invincible World. Lmao! 😄
Walter never denied messing with Sonny's head. All he did was get mad at the Utopian for asking.
I’ve loved quitely ever since the Authority. That being said, I really enjoyed the retro look of Circle, reminded me of classic Superman, but with modern story beats.
Damn man, I couldn't bring myself to vote, sorry danny they're both so good 😂
I read this is canon in Kick-Ass's universe (things prior to 1986) but the super-villains erased people's memories and secretly rule the world.
That’s the story in Wanted. Not sure if it carries over to Kick-Ass.
Love the videos Danny. Keep them coming.
Hey bro hope u and yours are safe. Just wanted too let u know .I look forward to Sundays thanks to u. Soooo here's a long distance high five
Soooo, in this Jupiter reality, are people just spontaneously being born around the world, with powers after the main group visits the island? Or are they all Skyfox's kids?
Honestly, much better than the main book, even if it still suffers form being a fill in for it towards the end.
I like how they left off not telling if he did use his powers on sky Fox's girlfriend and I think I like the art better and circle.
I understand why you had to explain who Liberace was, but damn that made me feel old
Plz do "The Happy Little Elves in Tinkly-Winkly Town"
Both, Art & Story were excellent. That's my vote.
Damn, this and Legacy are amazing. Where have I been?
This helps me pass to time Thank you. covid lockdown is really boring
Walter and Sheldon's had habit is smoke!
Another great volume, can't wait for the next!
*I like how they all can fly and are super strong 😂😂😂*
Millar still believes Hoover lived an alternative lifestyle. The KGB was very good.
Jupiter's circle is the best art work !!!!!
Great Videos. thank you for your hard work.
Will you ever do Top 10 by Alan Moore and Gene Ha?
Maybe. I haven’t read it, but it’s been on my to-read list for a while.
@@dannymalt You should, it's basically a book of Easter Eggs of various silver and golden age superheroes and comics, I'd figure that'd be right up your alley given the nature of these videos. And Season One's only 12 issues, not a very long comic.
Legacy didn't do much for me in the end, but I found this pretty enjoyable to read! Excellent character stuff that I wish I had read first lol
Let's be honest skyfox is the most awesome member of the team
Thanks danny love these so much, be awesome
I enjoyed this volume as much as I did the last
Great video Danny.
Thank you for your work

I like how he says ruined. Sounds like a runed
Damn, Skyfox really is the best
Part 1 was amazing
Hey Danny. Just curious, How'd you come up with the name Dannymalt ?
My real name is Daniel Maltais. So it's just a variation on that. Also, my last name "Maltais", is super common in Quebec so I wanted to completely get away from that. Whereas Danny Malt is more unique.
Both versions are perfect for their respective times.
Good job Danny thank you.. be safe
I find it funny how fitz flare costume resembles more of reverse flash
I genuinely can't decide which one I like best
i like more circles art because women had eyebrows.
I believe this Walter did mess with Sunnys' brain, he wanted to get even on skyfox for being the target of his silly jokes, and which way to hurt him most than to steal his girl and braking his heart so much he just gave up on being a Superhero?
I really liked circle a lot more character development great to see the unions past
Another note: It's a good thing seeing Blue Bolt tell Hoover off. If only more people were morally as strong as comic book characters. Circle!!!! Love the tea ... idk just love it.
Great work. Jupiter’s Circle seems better.
I’m leaning towards circle between the two, Skyfox is a total pimp
Jupiter’s circle volume one. Both story and art
Great video
I can participate in the poll i like them both for different reasons

I love this story so much
Circle will point out what happens so I’d like that one first
Yeah, Jupiter's Circle's art style and story are better in my opinion.
I love this new series
honestly maybe if Netflix adapted Circle instead of Legacy we would have a season 2
11:45-11:50 shows duke mcqueen is in the back
Being a hot 19 year old is arguably the strongest super power.
It's like The Boys But with A Constructive Time Period.
Brain wave did sky fox dirty
"Hoover, He was a body remover" as said by Rage Against the Machine.
He was a terrible person, look it up.
Legacy for both questions
Did that make a new jupiter legacy that just cover jupiter circle
Walter did that shit
Definitely Jupiter's circle both times. Legacy had a cooler looking Utopian.
Great shit
