One of my favorite in living color roast was when Jim Carey did a parody video of that Candian white dude that tried to sound Jamaican "informer. Something something, a licky boom boom there!" 🤣🤣🤣
Fab from Milli Vanilli stated in an interview that the skit of them lip syncing is what lead to their down fall. Keenan and Damon played the roles. Funny as hell.
I LOST it when they did Crystal Waters...😂 Jim Carey doing Vanilla Ice I thought was funny, but when he did Informer by Snow, that came out of left field...🤣🤣
We all know In Living Color was a masterpiece.. The question that really needs answering is what Spike Lee allegedly said about In Living colors writers; 13 writers, 3 or 4 black the rest white Jewish Harvard kids.. Now that's something to dive into... Because that would change my whole childhood opinion about In Living Color to be honest.
Talent is talent, we shouldn't cut each other off. They had a majority black cast, a lot of black stars got their start on that show, plus it was actually funny. It served its purpose, we all laughed.
Minister Louis Farrakhan and his associated sketches especially "The Wrath of Farrakhan" and the Abbott and Costello inspired sketches with Al Sharpton.
The skits on the show were so funny. Some of my favorites were Rhythmless Nation with Kim, Ice Ice Baby with Jim Carey and Damon in the Wrath of Farrakan.
One of my favorites that wasn't mentioned was the Soul Train parody "Old Train." It was so funny and foul, two popular dancers who were on the show since the late 70s and early 80s quit the show. I'm gonna go watch that sketch right now!! 😆🤣😂
Two of my favorite sketches involved Jim Carey. The 1st was him playing this character that was still attached to his mother's umbilical cord. The 2nd was when Jim thought he couldn't be hypnotized, but ended up being turned into a chicken. Before he could be turned back, the hypnotist died...so he was stuck like that. Every time he tried to talk, he would cluck. He eventually went crazy from it. I'm damn near in tears of laughter, just thinking about it. 🤣🤣🤣
I love Jim Carey throwing shade at Jimmy Swaggart "I have sinned against you" His character was Carl E Pathos, and I died when he said "The Lord uses that jacuzzi in mysterious ways...LOL
I like the one where Damon Wayans played a Jamaican with many job descriptions. I loved it, because as a youngster at the time I had lots of side jobs and at least two regular jobs. Not only that, I like when David Alan Grier played an African translator and James Brown's hairstylist(R.I.P.). Last but not least, I loved when Damon played the inmate who tried to sound intelligent, David playing Calhoun Tibbs, and Jamie Foxx playing Wanda and a dog owner who carries around a dog corpse.😆😆😆😆👍🏼
My favorite was the episode where they showed all the music spoofs! We record it on vhs when it came on and watched over and over!"Promise! Promise of a thin me!" Hammer and his huge pants! Lol Every character Tommy Davidson played was on point!!
I'm 39 years old and I grew up on In Living Color. I enjoyed the video. I'm sure Vanilla Ice wasn't too thrilled about Jim Carrey's extremely white white baby song. 😆😆😆
