Anyone wanna read a long comment about all this? I have infinite respect for this video, both for Jack and Bobby really. Firstly Jack for giving him a platform to defend himself. We all know Jack ain't the youtube bully some people complain about him being, but this just proves it perfectly. He made a video ripping into Bobby, all valid points that Bobby himself basically agrees with, but then is quite happy not only to meet him in person but to actually do a video with him. Brilliant, that. But also, in terms of the interview itself. How often do you see an interview where the questions are really challenging, testing in the way they are here. He's asking Bobby all the most difficult questions. The only time I can think of seeing that in interviews is when the interviewer is a cunt, when they're like making a mockery out of someone or trying to rile them up for the drama, or political ones when they're looking to capitalise on everything. This ain't like that though. Really challenging questions without any malice, any cuntishness. It's all very sincere from the lad: doesn't shit on Bobby, doesn't suck up, says what he think honestly but tactfully, takes the piss with good humour, and at the bottom of it all, is just really curious about this guy's otherworldly lifestyle. In terms of that, it's one of the best interviews I've seen in a long time. And then fairplay to Bobby for taking everything on the chin, then coming on here and being so relaxed. Doesn't argue or anything, just explains himself and goes with the humour when it comes. Can't blame him for being like all the other kids in that boarding school, with that level of peer pressure, when you're actually living with all those kids, plus being that age? We'd probably all have turned into people like them too. And yet he's not quite the same, is he? He's fairly self-aware and he seems quite nice. I won't say he isn't sheltered and a bit dumb to the way some of the world works, but he's not a bastard, he's just ignorant about it. Two types of rich people in this world: incredibly clever, ambitious, scheming bastards who will trample on everyone to make even more money, then the slightly incompetent ones who are nice but simply ignorant to the world and omg you're still reading this fucking massive long essay? He is so wierdly likeable, I think it might just be the fact that he faces JaaackMaate face to face and talks openly about it. I mean he clearly took the time to listen to the points Jaaackmaate was making, rather than defend himself without listening to the actual critique.
It's a podcast, so usually it would just be audio and not a video. I don't see why Jaack would waste money on lighting a room for 5 hours straight only to have this made into audio. Also, if you don't like how it looks it's a good idea just to listen to it and not look at the video since it's supposed to be a podcast
