Kyuren-oh is one of my personal favorite mecha designs. So many clever touches, like the arms on the globes forming a complete ring on the Megazord like a stargate. Lots of paint, beautiful patterns on the globes themselves, the lights and sounds are ace, everything "clicks" together butter-smooth and satisfying, and... yeah, the future of PR toys looks very bleak. All they had to do was give it elbows and knees (which the mini-pla proved is VERY possible) but I guess this Megazord wasn't worth it. If the CF suit designs are anything to go by, I don't expect future western zord designs to be anything special either. I've just never cared for the Hyper Force, Solar or Omega Rangers, or their Megazords. The theme of all these teams seems to just be "cool" or "space" in an abstract, generic way. My son saw this in an Amazon catalog weeks ago and hasn't shut up about it. I wasn't about to drop $70 on this thing so I hunted around and found a used Kyurenoh for $25 shipped. My son is about to have an awesome 4th birthday and Hasbro should be ashamed of this offering for that price. #noregrets
You know, I didn't think we were going to see the toy-exclusive modes in the show itself either...but then the Netflix Trailer dropped, and I could be wrong, but at the 54 second mark we see what appears to be the toy-exclusive Battle Sled mode from the Cosmic Megazord toy fall from the sky, very briefly, so, eh, maybe? I still doubt the Red Cosmic Lion Warrior mode will make an appearance though because it's using the same face as the Megazord, which they usually don't do. Often when a Red Ranger Warrior mode Zord goes Megazord Combination, it gets a new face or at least a helmet for it's own face. Saying that, I'm not sure this was true for the T-Rex Champion Zord Warrior mode switching to the Dino Fury Megazord, and as this is a continuation of that season, who knows?
It's been said a million times that this is less worth its asking price than Kyurenoh, but it's incredibly ironic just HOW cheap Kyuranger items are on the aftermarket. I've seen a bundle of the Seiza Blaster, Kyu TheWeapon, and Kyurenoh, all complete, going for L E S S than the asking price for the Cosmic Fury Megazord alone. This is owing to both the overpricing of the Megazord and the cheapness of Kyuranger items, but really consider this for a second. You could get the main transformation item, with 5 viable Kyutama to use thanks to Kyuren-Oh, the main weapon with 9 different configurations, and an entire mecha, with lights and sounds, that can do nearly everything that the Cosmic Fury Megazord can do, except for the standalone red mode and the everyone-get-on-the-sled mode. The difference in value is just astonishing.
I bought a bootleg japan version for 10$ form china. It still better than power ranger megazord. It like they are just gave up, they dont even like copy and paste
I’m excited for Simon’s writing and show running. The suits and toys are disappointing. Yes I’m overly invested as an adult fan. But the reboot is apparently for an older crowd anyway. So they need to start listening.
This Set is actually really great. The Zords themselves are made of very sturdy plastic, and the Cosmic Orbs are also made of very sturdy plastic, and look really good with the Metallic paint used. The Cosmic Red Lion Zord (Warrior Mode) is a very cool addition if you want just a standalone Zord/Megazord, plus the added Champagne Colored Cosmic Orb, and Twin Battle Swords are really nice. The addition of the Silver Sled to make a Cosmic Fury Assault Team is wicked sweet, then you can add the Silver Sled to the back of the Megazord as a Jet Pack. The Megazord looks awesome all together, and with the different combinations it adds more playability. The Zord Link System is with these Zords so if you have the Dino Fury ones you’ll have more combinations to do. I really love all the artwork on the box, looks really gorgeous. All in all it’s a solid Toy/Collectable. This is the last season we will ever get in this continuity of Power Rangers. If the Reboot does come out don’t expect anything else except the Reboot.
So they didn't want to use the original suits, the Morpher, the whole kyutamas gimic, and the megazord sucks wow my expectations for this new series is so low lol
Well if it wasn't for those Sentai purists acting like they're the big shots when they bully PR fans for no reason? None of this wouldn't have happened lol.
8:07 only having days to design something from scratch is no excuse when you consider that the original 2009 leader class Optimus Prime was designed in *9 days* and it even combined with the concurrent Jetfire
I’ve played with the Morpher in store and looking at the zords, the Dino fury zords will likely be my last. It is just a brick, makes my MMPR zord look posable.
I've skipped out on Space Balls Megazord, even the Sentai version. I'm also glad that they decided to skip Zyuohger and their Minecraft zords. It was disheartening to see great designs from the 90s slowly devolve into literal bricks and lazy transformations.
Mojang be like: What? What makes The Zyoh Cube transformations lazy, and, what is bad about the season having cube shaped animals and @Minecraft as a motif?
@@avoprim5028 if you think there’s nothing lazy with stacking 3 blocks on top of each other, with the resulting robots having stubby arms and legs that aren’t separated, then I got nothing for ya. They are literally totem poles 🤷♂️
@@avoprim5028 what about them? They’d fit right in with Minecraft. But the ranger suits, the animal illustrations, none of them echoes the blocky designs. Plus if you compare them other animal themed sentai mechas, they’re not as aesthetically appealing.
Speaking of dinosaur themed @Power Rangers Official seasons, are you going to completely get all of the dinosaur stuff? There is one Sentai season based on dinosaurs that most people overlook, need to acknowledge, and, is one that you need to get. I am, of course, referring to Dino Force Brave, the South Korean produced sequel to Kyoryuger. You really need to get the Dino Force Brave weapons, Morphers, all of The Dinocells (that is what the second set of Zyudenchi, literally Beast Batteries, is called in Dino Force Brave’s native South Korea), and all of the Dino Force Brave Megazords.
The American zords got really poor for a bit (RPM is an unworkable mess. Samurai took away the ability for the zords to fold up into their shapes, even though some configurations require it. Ninja Steel had whole parts missing from their zords.) But they started to improve! Beast Morphers had a solid megazord, albeit with poor connectivity. Same with Dino Fury. The poseability of the megazords helps make up for the subpar connectors that are either too tight or too loose. To see this is kind of heartbreaking. I loved Kyurangers mecha and have every numbered kyutama. I was genuinely hoping the western release would include kyutama that never got made, like Antlia, Corona Borealis, Eridanus, Lynx, etc. But clearly that’s not going to happen.
honestly, i think imma just get the Japanese version, it has lights and sounds after all and is an all round better display piece for a 17 year old getting older each year

It does look like we will get more megazords if you look at the chest piece on the lion zord, it has 2 connectors so maybe we will get the other red shuttle zord as thats a connection piece in the original zords from japan
I kinda wonder if Hasbro may actually abandon megazords if they continue the franchise after cosmic fury. They got robots in transformers, and beyond nostalgia it seems like they don’t care about mecha in the current PR seasons. It also goes back to what you said about toy stores not wanting to invest in whole lines (atleast in America) and are more concerned with individual products being financial successes.
6:24 Nah, ur just wrong on that fact about Die-hards buying it. I'm a Die Hard Power Rangers fan and I'm not TOUCHING THIS ABOMINATION with ANY of my money. I OWN the Original Kyurangers Kyuren-oh AND the ENTIRE season of the show on DVD and its all LEAUGES better quality than this stuff is and will be. Like how does Hasbro even SCREW UP an EASY TOYLINE like Kyuranger's one, "Collect all the unique Kyutamas (Star Globes) to COMPLETE YOUR POWERFUL COLLECTION" like COME ON that would sell like FIRE! Point I'm making here is, no it's not about Die Hard's NEEDING to get it to fill the collection, it's about self control and being able to see a crappy repurposed toy when it's in front of you and saying, nah, I'm not buying this. It's funny to think that the Kyoryuger with knees rerelease might be a response to this too.

I usually thought it was fine when I first watched it, tho' was kinda also sad knowing that it was the last season and all, no thanks to those annoying Sentai purists always acting like they're the "heroes" of wanting quality over quanity and also always thinking PR fans like me are the "villains" of having fun and enjoying things, I hope they get what they deserved one of these days like the menaces they are lol.
22:38 *Balls of Fury* !!
😂
My son saw this in an Amazon catalog weeks ago and hasn't shut up about it. I wasn't about to drop $70 on this thing so I hunted around and found a used Kyurenoh for $25 shipped. My son is about to have an awesome 4th birthday and Hasbro should be ashamed of this offering for that price. #noregrets
Yeah whatever, maybe you should admit to your son that you're also a Sentai purist too while you're at it lmao.
@@monster-mecha_enthusiast_2002bro how do u hate sent ?
Megazord look good and cool love Dwight 👍
Are you gonna get king-ohger and donbrothers mechas?
Base Kyuranger Mecha is already pretty bad on it own now we got what in consideration a downgrade. Yeah no.
Oh no, don't let simon Bennett hear u speak of upset diehard ranger adult fans cuz he went on a mini rant on twitter
I’m excited for Simon’s writing and show running. The suits and toys are disappointing. Yes I’m overly invested as an adult fan. But the reboot is apparently for an older crowd anyway. So they need to start listening.
What?
Now that's a hot take.
So they didn't want to use the original suits, the Morpher, the whole kyutamas gimic, and the megazord sucks wow my expectations for this new series is so low lol
It’s so disappointing because the Kyuranger suits are gorgeous
Well if it wasn't for those Sentai purists acting like they're the big shots when they bully PR fans for no reason? None of this wouldn't have happened lol.
Where are people getting that this is the final season?
They’ve shut down New Zealand series production after 20 years, put the toy line on ice, and have gone very, very quiet.
I say it's worth $25 at most. Might get it just to have more options for my Dino Fury Zords
Yeah this thing is destined to live on sale
8:07 only having days to design something from scratch is no excuse when you consider that the original 2009 leader class Optimus Prime was designed in *9 days* and it even combined with the concurrent Jetfire
Cool
I’ve played with the Morpher in store and looking at the zords, the Dino fury zords will likely be my last. It is just a brick, makes my MMPR zord look posable.
I Stopped Collecting Power Rangers Since Samurai Started...it's All Rubbish Ever Since...an I've Been Collecting Since Morphin Started.. 😂😅
The ‘shark’ mouth doesn't open because it's actually a swordfish in Japan
For all its faults, I would like to see this as a ZAP figure, putting their heart in into it and making it the proper scale. Just me?
역시 큐렌쟈(갤럭시포스)의 큐렌오(갤럭시킹)인가 보다.
@@Savage590 Mojang be like: But, what about Zyuohger’s @Minecraft motif, with the animals in the show being cube shaped, is bad here?
23:00 Something i have to argue is that beast morphes plastic quality is much better than dino fury and comic fury plastic quality.
The American zords got really poor for a bit (RPM is an unworkable mess. Samurai took away the ability for the zords to fold up into their shapes, even though some configurations require it. Ninja Steel had whole parts missing from their zords.)
But they started to improve!
But clearly that’s not going to happen.
honestly, i think imma just get the Japanese version, it has lights and sounds after all and is an all round better display piece for a 17 year old getting older each year
Very fair. The Japanese version is much more premium.
man $73 - $72 dollars for a happy meal toy is crazy i mean i get the kyuren-oh for like $20 as well ryutei-oh
Admittedly it felt like robbery
@@powerrangertube $20 Kyuren-oh is second hand complete which is crazy $73 can buy me a full main zord from zenkaigers hopefully however handles the new Power Rangers merchandise specially the zords hopefully creates a new spice and make a high quality yet justified price point

Green ball = Izzy
Black ball = javi
Blue ball = Ollie/Billy
Yellow ball = Aiyon (no matters gold colour is yellow as whatever)
I'm thought two more balls
Zenith ball = zayto
Orange ball = Fern

Hmm r we actually gonna have cosmic fury zords in the UK? They were never released for Dino Fury over here
I know I'm a year late, but Hasbro Knows they can get away with it. They have with Transformers for years
It does look like we will get more megazords if you look at the chest piece on the lion zord, it has 2 connectors so maybe we will get the other red shuttle zord as thats a connection piece in the original zords from japan
I hope so! They did well with the mosa razor to (eventually) give us a point to the lifting forehead piece
I kinda wonder if Hasbro may actually abandon megazords if they continue the franchise after cosmic fury. They got robots in transformers, and beyond nostalgia it seems like they don’t care about mecha in the current PR seasons. It also goes back to what you said about toy stores not wanting to invest in whole lines (atleast in America) and are more concerned with individual products being financial successes.
bruh this is a glorified Happy Meal Toy
Can't disagree
Hasbro still experimenthing to make new Formula
NOT trying to be mean when saying any of this, I'm just a bluntly honest person who tends to leave emotions at the door.
Oh really? You're a diehard PR fan huh? because to me when you mentioned "Kyuranger" on your comment, you sound more like one of those ego-maniac Sentai purists than a Power Ranger fan.
And it's also a shame too, I use to think you other PR fans were the good guys but when when seasons Samurai to Cosmic Fury showed up and you guys decided to side with your enemies, which are the purists and elitists of the Super Sentai series? I was so wrong, I expected better from you guys honestly lol.
@@monster-mecha_enthusiast_2002 yes, I AM a enormous fan of PR. I own every season of it on DVD that is officially out (no bootlegs) meanwhile, Kyuranger and the following season Lupinranger vs Patranger are the ONLY SENTAI I OWN or have really even SEEN. Like I said before, its LESS about being a fan who NEEDS to collect the toy, and more knowing when a BETTER version of said item exists. Don't get me wrong, the Cosmic Fury SEASON was GOOD, just the toyline that isn't is ALL I was saying.
Before assuming things about me based on what I type, maybe ASK QUESTIONS next time because, if ANYTHING, You're over here sounding like a complete PR ELITIST. But I digress since I cannot be a hypocrite of my own words and assume, so I shall ask, ARE you as PR Elitist?
@@SlayerCentral
Well, I didn't want to be a PR elitist at first since I have been a PR fan since 2000's even tho' I didn't know much about Sentai either until I looked that series up back in the 2010's but then after how much nuts those Sentai purists have drove me with their same old "Super Sentai is better than Power Rangers" comaparison-type negative opinions of theirs on the Internet ever since 2018?
Yeah, I guess I am kind of a PR elitist, because of those Sentai purists since apparently I also don't know if I can even have fun with the Power Rangers franchise anymore after Cosmic Fury ended lol.
Every how wants a posible version of the zord get the minipla it might be harder to find but it’s way but better Possibly also hasbro what the heck they could have easily gave it possibility
When will get the get the kyuranger's morpher?
Think you might buy the Sentai version to look better for your collection?
Yes I should do really!
@@powerrangertube And look on the positive: You can do a review in comparison and if you like the Sentai version, you can collect more for it! Since Cosmic Fury doesn't look to be making new stuff.
That and all the orbs work in the Morpher, big bonus.
Where are we getting that cosmic fury is the last season
Hasbro hasn't exactly said they're not interested in having the brand, like Disney, who kept attempting to cancel the show numerous times, but there's a reboot in development, only it looks like it's on hold, because of the strikes.

3 KYUREN-OH
Hasbro charging more for less is no different to transformers
The past season zords were all OK until that Megaforce thing... Until now the franchise wasn't able to redeem itself.. Again this one is a failure.. I really advice taking the Japanese version cause its more in depth and more screen accurate. Another thing is the Japanese version has electronics so you would absolutely enjoy it. It wouldn't hurt to cost more fore the value your getting
The review is gold! The toy is trash 😭
🤣
I am glad I bought the a copy of the Kyuranger toys much better quality, the cosmic fury megazord is an easy skip for me since I am tired of buying power rangers toys from Hasbro when they can not even bother to finish a tou line
For me I never watched kyuranger nor had any interest in watching the show or getting the toys. So this megazord is an easy pass for me as I am not a kyuranger fan. I am just looking forward to cosmic fury as it is a show to watch as a power rangers fan. I am however worried about the reboot and it’s abandoning its roots of being based on sentai footage.
The kyuranger version is so much better , I’m glad I got it a few years ago
I’m really hoping we get a better version of this line, even if we have to pay a premium.
Eventually that could be their long term plan! Give us something basic now and better later
Then buy bandai dx 😊
I wanted you to do the delia squad megazord next
What a wrong season to adapt, huh Hasbro?
The zord looks so bad. If you compare the zord with the Kyuren-Oh, it looks so cheap and bad.
Super cool awesomness
😂 what I aim for
what makes me kinda sad hasbor will probably think "power rangers isn't profitable anymore" and try to move away from what it is if the sales are bad. :/
Also if you're good at hunting enough, the kyurenoh Super Minipla is amazing, it'll probably be between 70 to 100 bucks but I think it's worth more than this.
It's funny to think that the Kyoryuger with knees rerelease might be a response to this too.
Maybe Kyuranger zord ain't too bad
Imagine if Hasbro had to adapt Kamen Rider. They’ll completely screw up the Toyline.
You don't know that.
@@dylansharp8471 so we not gonna talk about the Ryusouls?

Try buy kyuranger zord, and compare that with cosmic fury
First!
12:09 Tyranno-dick
1:06 why is it korean
Not gonna lie, but I feel like the complaints about this toy are exactly why I as a longtime Power Ranger fan since the 2000's don't feel like watching Super Sentai or buy Super Sentai toys in general, I'm fine with what these PR toys are, so I don't care if it's cheap.
Like seriously, are both Sentai and other PR fans TRYING to make me end up a PR elitist now because of their negative opinions on stuff like this toy or what? :/
my brother not everyone wants to have inferior sometimes even more expensive toys than what already out there. it’s like picking between a $20 bill and a $100 bill sure you would be happy with the 20 but people naturally gravitate towards the 100 because it is objectively better
Waste of money
Pretty much.
Even with the discount.
