It has been a pleasure and a challenge to help Peter and have got to know him, although we haven't actually met. This is just the tip of the iceberg of his story. We are making therapeutic progress but there are so many years of abuse to resolve. He is amazing to have remained so caring and compassionate. I believe he deserves to have teeth not only to smile, but to stop the awful pain from infected gums which make it so unpleasant to eat and drink. To survive and keep going is a lesson to us all. One of the things that really makes a difference is any kindness he receives. I only know part of his story too! if everyone contributes a little, he could have the dentistry (that I couldn't face-because that is serious time and pain in the dentist chair!) that is possible. Genuinely proud of Peter! Well done Josh for capturing this painful, moving story, that needed to be told.

Watching this through tears knowing that my garden in muswell hill backed onto this care from1948 to 1958 could sense the sadness as I saw these boys look over our fence,I remember a boy called billy who had a mouse ,I always wondered what happened to these boys ,god bless you Peter a survivor to have the courage to tell your story ❤

This is the most harrowing and heartbreaking documentary I've ever seen im my 42yrs, ive been following Peter on tiktok from the beginning, and the least He deserves is to smile, to even want to still smile after all he's been through shows the true strength of his character, I pray that someone out there, maybe a dentist, would be willing to fulfil Peters dream to be able to smile, He deserves the whole world of happiness and to be able to smile is what most people take for granted day in day out, I am a survivor of the care system myself, so i understand a lot of what Peter is speaking about, although he's had it far worse than I ever did, I can relate to the soul murder so well, may God bless you Peter and give you comfort and joy in your twilight years, if anyone deserves to smile my friend, it's you Peter, I will certainly be supporting you with your walk for a smile, I love you Peter, love and best wishes, I'm am so very proud of you, your tiktok friend Claire ❤❤❤😭🫂🫂🦋🙏🏼🫶🏼

I am sorry for what you've been through. My husband was put into care aged 9. He can't talk about it. It has ruined his mental health
