What even are theses pouches that people are boiling? I've never heard of this before, is it a really Japanese thing or something?? Like, food incased in a bag and you also cook the plastic??? Google has not helped me (thanks for the clip)

@@yeejyaaaato reply to the both of you, yes , these retort pouches are boiled in hot water and can't be microwaved because they're made of a thin metallic material... and they usually hold soupy foods like a curry or braised meat!
