Thanks for the action! Funny... I think my first comment on your channel (about three years ago) was about your deuces play. It may have been perceived as snarly, but it was just observational ;) Enjoying the series. It really shows that deuces is SUCH a different game! And thats BEFORE getting in to all the payable variations!
Hi Andrew. Damn! This is the 2nd time you've pulled dirty aces on Triple Play Deuces Wild. IMHO, when playing triple play, playing Deuces Wild is too risky, given there's more natural quads that are going to show up, and high-paying quads is the name of the game. That aside, I appreciate the educational aspect of this vlog and what you're doing. Since the birth of your vlog, I've noticed there's more and more Video Poker vloggers cropping up, which is great. Looks like 20k subscribers is coming up...NICE!
Hi Andrew. Never really a big duces fan. Helpful video with the strategy. I would have played many of the hands incorrectly. I enjoy your new series showing proper holds.
This is a fantastic challenge. I really don't like deuces wild for the exact reason shown in this video. It hurts to get 4 Aces with a kicker. Like you say dirty aces. Anyway, I really like you showing the correct moves. Thanks, Andrew, for doing this challenge.
Always painful getting natural quads, especially when I just switched from DDB TDB 😢 I still enjoy DW and it’s a fun game. I think some of the hate people give it is they are viewing the winning hands from a Bonus game point of view saying it pays less, but not taking into account the ease and increased frequency of getting those hands. To each their own 🤷🏻
I only play duces bonus these days. 1,1,3,4,5,12. I may mess up by not going for straight but I think the correct play is different since straight pays 1. I'll never hold for straight, either way.
Your last hand is exactly why I won't play deuces wild. If I'm playing any other game and I get four deuces I'll typically get 400 - 800 or more with a kicker, so at least it's something. But if you're playing deuces wild and get four aces with a kicker, you're s.o.l. and crying crocodile tears. Sorry you had to experience that!
I see alot of us getting annoyed when playing deuces and for example 4 aces with the kicker comes like it did for you...i try to not even care when that happens cause everything would have been different. Even if you were playing tdp, imo that wouldnt have even hit! I could be wrong but curious how all that works 🤔
In Deuces Wild, you should be holding only one pair when you're dealt two pair. Realize that's a common "beginner" mistake in DDB and the like, but it's the right play in DW.
What kills me about deuces is the dirty quads that seem to come up more then they should. The worst being aces. I would rather play bonus for that reason.
You need to learn how to calculate draws on the fly. This is not realistic when drawing 2, but it is simple when drawing 1 card. You were dealt this hand: 2d3d4d5d6h. Here is how you calculate in your head. 1. Realize that there are 47 possible 1 card draws. 2. Imagine playing the hand 47 times each way. 3. If you hold this hand 47 times, you get 94 bets back because a straight pays 2. If you toss the 6h and play 47 times, the following hands will result if you get each card once: 6 straight flushes that pay 54 total. 6 flushes pay 18 total. 8 straights pay 16 total. Nine 3 of a kinds pay 9 total Just add these up. 54+16+16+9 = 95. Since 95 > 94, you hold the straight flush draw.
can't find many NSU duces out there. Duces is most likely the hardest of all to play perfect. NSU run a little over 100 percent. Aways the cry of the "Gambler" just one more hand. LOL
love the video but.. honest feedback.. that screen when u recap your mistake.. can u explain that setup and what the hands shown mean.. so we know what that screen means and what you're talking about. the hand is up and gone so quickly that u actually play, and then ur showing a screen of info with no context. please explain it better during the video. thanks.
Try pausing it. Basically, though, the top hand is what he was dealt, and the bottom two are alternative hands with the top one showing the higher payback percentage.
Induces you really gotta play for the big hit. Basically you cannot win without at least a pair of twos in your possession. I would never play for a straight unless it was dealt. Sometimes you got a gamble to win.
It's only a 4 of a kind, pays 4x if you were in DB or bonus poker it would be the hand that pays 4x. That's the way the RNG was explained to me. Longevity is the key to success in video poker.
Why do you keep 2 pair when one is Jack's or better and one is lower? You lessen your chances of winning big then getting a fullhouse. Don't know ok w what your goal is I guess I don't, are you playing for royal, 5 dueces or full house. Good Luck on your goal.
Why would you think a jack rank matters at all in deuces wild? All pairs are equal basically. Hold 2 pair because full house on 1234 pays 4, and just one of the pairs on 1223
Andrew, keep the series going. I rewind after each error and rewatch and find these correct plays are sticking fron this fornat. It is super hepful.
Never have been a big fan of deuces for just this reason. So many possible combinations. Good to see you back!
This is the one game I don’t play. So many different holds than normal. Thank you for this video, it really helps in understanding DW
Professor Slotmassacre🎰 ...oooo that last one Quad Aces w/3 kicker ouchie

Deuces Wild Ultimate X my favorite game in the house.
what's that app we keep seeing?
Thank you again for educating us, love it , and keep at it and most of all GRAND LUCK to you!
easiest way to remember is if ya have a deuce in your hand ya arent holding draws unless theyre straight flush draws or better.

happy to see your videos again!
Me too!!!
PPL need to remember that the strat is tied to the pay table. If the pay table changes the strat might.
Okay so I'd like to see ultimate x triple play
Probably the best way to learn
Loving your video streaks!

Good instructional video! And entertaining! 👏👏
That last hand 😡

Hey Andrew! Keep winning my friend

I love high limit triple play

In this version of Deuces Wild holding both pairs is the proper play.
Risk it a bit! All about the Deuces.
Play this with ULTIMATE X.
Exactly why, I don’t play deuces, if you’re gonna play deuces, play double deuces
Triple double or double double that’s huge….typical Andrew
Andrew, you just don't have the time on this game that you need to make those SF connections and the other proper holds. It takes time on task.
Yeah, I've had that lol
What kills me about deuces is the dirty quads that seem to come up more then they should. The worst being aces. I would rather play bonus for that reason.
Dirty quads are toture. It seems like 50% of my quads on 9/6 deluxe are aces also and im happy but sad when it happens.

Andrew. Would love to meet up and chat. Not sure if you will be in town but I’m heading out to Vegas in a few weeks.

Must be nice to have the funds to play a new game sub optimal at these stakes. Love the content

Not a fan of deuces wild. Doesn't seem to me that the payback is very good. I probably make too many mistakes so I avoid it.
You missed 2 mistakes.
4:44 and 10:45 gutshots are better than kq, kj, or k10 suited

Too fast
Good machine, that's about as deep as it goes. As much as you'd like to take credit for wins you are actually irrelevant
