I live on the western side of Canada and I am on a bit of a mental health journey currently.. I don't tune in every day but a couple times a week I like to catch up what I can from your journey which provides an element of comfort for me watching the trail go by and seeing you overcome personal challenges and obstacles. Keep it up you really are an inspiration. Jordan from Vancouver, BC

It's hard to find words to completely describe the beauty there.

Nice video, with some good beautiful views, nice sunset, some bad rocky climb up and down, so let's keep on hiking..

Wow, what a beautiful day, and a great hike!
    You really deserved this day.
I may be wrong, but, I believe that the word “flat” could infer any inclination. I believe the word you were looking for is “level”.
I use it in this way: “I have traversed the entire state of Pennsylvania from north to south, from east to west, and everything in between, and can state categorically that there is not even one LEVEL acre in the entire State”.
p.s., that was one spectacular sunset.
    Rock On

Nice view at 3:33. As probably know by now, when you hit those mountains in Vermont and Maine, your mileage slows, so just enjoy the journey. You will be there before you know it, if you aren't already.

You are doing so good and hiking very strong. You are closing in on Maine! Not much farther. Everybody has bad days especially when you've been out there for 5 months, it starts wearing on you. Hang in there. It's nice to see that pretty smile was back today.

“I could cry, but I won’t, but I could “. You are allowed to cry. As often and whenever and wherever the emotion comes up. You have a great opportunity now that you are hiking the AT to really release the grief that you haven’t been letting yourself feel. This is why you (and many people) get “sad” on rainy days. The low energy of the rainy day resonates with the grief that is all ready within you, the rainy day just brings it out. Grief is the healing emotion, but if you suppress it or just not allow yourself to feel it it will cause a lot of harm to you physically, mentally and spiritually. Suppressed grief eventually turns into depression, physical ailments etc, so please love yourself enough to allow yourself to feel your emotions whatever they are, wherever they happen and no matter who is around. We have to learn to let them out, once felt they will never ever return because you have released them. If you choose to allow yourself to feel your emotions, there will come a day where you won’t be effected negatively at all by a rainy day. As a side note, if I may, the reason that you love clouds and they open you up emotionally, is not only that they are beautiful, which you do appreciate, but also they are in stark contrast to the heaviness that you feel in your heart and soul. Your emotional reaction to the clouds is your soul letting you know that there is grief inside you that you need to feel. You were created beautiful and perfect, this grief that enter you when you were little can exit you. It is not a part of who you are or who you were created to be. Don’t judge the feelings you have just feel them and release them. Your life will change beyond your conception. May God bless you and keep you my sister.

7:45 is Whitewall Mountain. Zeacliff you just barely captured at 7:16 in the upper right hand corner of the frame partially hidden by the spruce tree. Great spot!

I just had an idea. (It happens) When I have some spare time, I'm going to go back and watch all your AT vlogs. And count how many times you said "cute" and/or "so cute". Maybe we could sell tickets to guess the number. LOL 😂

Congrats on a really good day! I know it probably didn't feel great, but you're doing good mileage over some hard terrain. I love that nice section of trail by the Zealand Cliffs. Everyone comments how nice that flat section is after all the climbs and descents.

That's a lot of miles for the whites. You did good. And you got good views too.

Definitely in better spirits today and I can't blame you. I'm from Virginia and just curious if when you complete the trail whether you think Sobo would be easier having the whites out of the way?

Sometimes it only takes 5 miles to put things into perspective. I loved every painful moment of the whites.😋

Yep, big time challenging days coming but if you climb up a tree you might see katahdin. Lol! Well maybe not but you’re close. Soon you’ll be saying, “ in 3 days I’ll be done”. Stay strong! Thanks for the views. I’m still here in Indiana trying to do 5 miles a day. Coming from being paralyzed neck down 17 years ago, can’t feel my legs or my right side but I’m doing it, just like you’re doing it. Ok, I’ll shut up again. I’m just a rattle box. Geeez!

Keep going! 5 miles is good and soon it will be 6 then 7. It is wonderful to see that you're fighting back!

Daniel Webster was a Senator from NH that ran for president in 1836. He did not win so officially you aren't in the Presidential range until you climb Mt. Jackson.
