@ Peter Mackett The Tremelo is definitely not working well at the jazz-flut as it use too be so that explains the bad sound of it I think. The organ needs further to be completely tuned and a little bit of maintenance, then I’ll wil play perfectly is my honest opinion.
Jonny said the trem needs to be rebuilt as it stalls some times and the jazz flute needs new tuning sliders making, a job he will do in the winter, The reed pipes on cm are very flighty and do not hold there tuning needs rebuilding J L also said along with 3 off notes. H
@@HarryYT22 Yes, a fair few differences! Both organs are voiced differently and feature a few different registers. This Mortier used to be a 101 key instrument but was later converted to 121 key.
The jazz flutes are definitely out of tune!, and every so often you get a strange sounding register which i think is the Cromorne (Krumhorn) which is voiced very unusually!
Beautiful machine 😍
Twelfth Street Rag. One of my favourite songs.
Great videos as always MechanicalMusicTravels. Thanks for taking the time to record the magnificent mechanical instruments at The Grange.
Thank you! Glad you are enjoying my recent videos.

Thank you for the information - great to hear Jonny will address these issues.
Gosh that organ looks massive! Bet it was even bigger in person. Is it just me or does the organ sound a bit off?
You're right - for some reason in every single video of this organ it always seems to sound a little bit out of tune... I'm not sure why!
@@MechanicalMusicTravels Interesting the instrument is actually a Mortier. Is there any difference pipes wise to a Mortier and a Decap?
