I like how he had his eyes closed the whole time a real connection with the music and his inner self. Made this the greatest version of this song that it could ever be.
Look, people say that there is no talent these days and that's not entirely true. The artist today, most came up working small shows, playing in bars, etc. They have talent. Once they make it, they get really, no say in their music. The producers control how their career goes and they type of music they do and release. Producers think they know everything but they don't know sheet. I always hear and made fun of Bieber myself but listen to his acoustic stuff online. The kid can sing. We just hate him because his behavior but he is talented. He just puts out what the producers want and he makes bank.
The raw emotion he puts into absolutely every performance he does (his songs or not) can not be matched by many, if any at all. One of the most talented musicians of this generation. Once in a lifetime kinda guy. Aaron Lewis, you inspire me to create music with emotion and for that, I as a lifelong fan, thank you.
Delivers a master piece and then takes a cigarette drag right after like a boss 😎 ... 🙏 Legend . One of the most genuine artist and one of the most beautiful voice 🙏
back in the mid-late 90's a friend of mine, worked at a college radio station, and gave me a cassette of an unknown band called staind "they're goin to be huge "he says here we are umteen years later, he was right, Aaron Lewis will go up with the greats in country and rock music as one of the most talented voices to ever grace a microphone
He is my favorite vocalist... I used to listen to R&B/hip hop before I heard outside. My preferred genre has been forever altered and for the better....
I went through the worst break up of my life and the way he sang brought me right through it. Arron Lewis will always be the best vocalist ever to walk the face of the earth
Close in the running is Sound of silence by Disturbed. If you haven't seen it or heard it,you owe it to yourself to listen .....then like this performance it you don't get emotional you can't be human.
man. Aaron. you sing my life's soundtrack- no joke. thick and thin, pleasure or pain....u always have the tune to remind me of "The Road" I call my life. So glad I got to shake your hand & say what up....that hand shake helped me opt to seek help the following day & hence gave birth to my road to Recovery; Serenity. u change lives dude. know that.
this song has so many meanings for me from losing my husband and father of my children to suicide to losing my best friend to drug addiction that has landed him in prison to losing a sweet young man harley croft and this was the song that his amazing older brother played at his memorial service. funny how life changes so quickly.....but its only gonna get better after this sip of water....this too shall pass
I have such a new appreciation for this song. Everything Aaron Lewis does connects with me on such a personal level. It's like he knows my life personally. Epiphany, Everything Changes, Mudshovel... Etc Etc. One of my all time greatest singers.
Aaron Lewis is such an amazing guy, not only is he extremely talented, but he can take a song, and add his own twist and make it sound like something he originally wrote. One of my all time favorite vocalists. So much respect for him.

2019 and still hits! February 2nd he’ll be performing in a neighboring city so hopefully I’ll be able to see him. One of my top three singers. Don’t want to miss the opportunity to see him
i love how people call this a country song. it doesn't hit me like one. i'm what most country people would call a city boy, and i love this song. it's a perfectly powerful, emotional song and has a great melody.
Robert Breon You don't have to be from the country to enjoy country music. I didn't think that was something that would ever actually require an explanation.
Superb! Best cover of any song I've heard in a long time! Aaron, I just hope to meet you one of these days. When ever you get close to WV, I'll be sure to make an appearance at your show.
I just discovered this guy the other day and he is so amazing. I can't stop watching his live videos. His voice is incredible live and he has so much passion. All I look for.
Yeah he does, I love Aaron's version, I just love Aaron regardless, from Staind of course to his solo work. Just saw him back in May here in STL, he puts on an awesome show!
I miss you more and more each day babe you left me and our two little girls now all I have is a broken heart and a tear stained face I'll love you until I die just like I promised the day we got married

I’ve been to several of Aaron’s concerts. So sick of the whoo girls. Ruins the concert. Had to walk out near the end of the last one before I killed someone. Matthew Malin, it’s the same in concert know it all.
read Jeffrey Steeles story behind writing this song, it will really change your perspective of this song. Aaron knocks it out! love the way he makes it his own.
I met him when Staind stopped and played at a club in Huntington, WV. Coolest dude. Now that he has crossed over to country and is fantastic he's one of my favorite artists out now.

Though I agree he has an amazing voice; I still think Chris Cornell and Corey Taylor have even better voices...
I think his voice is awesome, but Chino Moreno is my vote for the best. Aaron Lewis is definitely in my top 5 though.

Great slide player.
Isn't it a dobro?
+Jacob Mallard It could be but he still uses a slide so I would say he's a great slide player if he's playing a Dobro, Lap Steel,or a slide guitar.
