Truly one of the best presenters explaining in clear, concise way. I learnt and understood more in your 10mins then I have watching 10+other videos! A new subscriber here and can't wait to go try it. Cheers,
You can do the same LPH test as per the Easy As Guide for rain water tanks, which will define the number of sprinklers or drippers you can put in to your system. The pressure should still be fine however you may find that you would need less sprinklers if the pressure is slightly less.
Great video! I am just wondering what would happen to the pipes during winter, when the water freezes will it damage the pipes? Shouldn’t there be any system to drain the water from the pipes?
I would not use quick connects on the manifold connections to the irrigation lines. Doing a LPM test and using quick disconnects doesn't make a lot of sense. If flow rate may be an issue then don't restrict a semi-perment system with quick disconnects. Was there a backflow preventer somewhere?
Check it out at 0:24 . What he just said is 100% WRONG, Mitre 10 should have a Engineer like me to review the technical script before make any video. This one goes for free. WATER PRESSURE???? he is not measuring any pressure, but flow... Pressure is something like Force/Area.... Flow is Volume/time....Thanks
Francisco Junior yes, you are technically correct. However flow is directly proportional to pressure assuming constant surface area and length of pipe.
@@pleayotovaranonte4214 No really, a gravity tank for example has 10 kgf/m2 of pressure... at the same time when all the taps of a house are closed, the flow is zero... Now if u open all taps, the pressure will be the same, no matter how quick or slow u fill a bucket up. But i've got a jest what u said..
NZ mitre 10 tutorial videos put our Australian Bunnings tutorials to absolute shame! 😆 Great vid!
sorry
The worst part is that our mitre 10's never have what these guys have haha, had to go to bunnings for most of it
Your video was the best of all in TH-cam. You showed step by step. Good job mate!
Much better video than the Bunnings one. You do need to use white tape on the thread of the pop ups though.

I enjoyed watching your video thank you for your time 🤩😎👍
But the left side of your lawn isn't getting any water?
Great instructions, but looks the person present the steps don’t want people to follow, always shaking each parts (don’t want to present clear tools)😂
Thanks for the feedback, we'll pass this on to the team. ^Rhi
Nice video, I like the part about keeping the lawn intact.
I been researching irrigation videos all weekend. This is the best video. Out of all of them. Well done. Thank you.
Glad you liked it! Thanks for the feedback 👍 ^Billie
you answered all my questions, watched about 4 youtube videos before and they made it more confusing than necessary
Thanks for the video, really helpful
Thanks for the clear instructions 👍
被误导了,在长方形草品种间设置两个360度的喷头,会导致洒水
覆盖不完全
Very cool show for sure
And a person that’s very sure of what to do and lots of hard work 😓
I not sure if I’ll plan all of this really hard with lots of plants in the way
So much to think about this show he can do it but maybe me too
What sprinkler did you use for the lawn? Like what version?
hi if we want to have irrigation system from rain water tank do you think the pressure will be okay? How much LPM can be achieved through this system?
You can do the same LPH test as per the Easy As Guide for rain water tanks, which will define the number of sprinklers or drippers you can put in to your system. The pressure should still be fine however you may find that you would need less sprinklers if the pressure is slightly less.
Can I ask what make are the product used in this video please?
Thank you for the video and really easy to understand. So are you using 13mm from the tap and put a 19mm x 13mm joiner for the lawn? Thanks
Those ratchet clamps ... not available at Leroy Merlin ! (Avoid them and buy your products from an alternative vendor !)
Thank you for this. I'm excited to get started!
Let us know how you get on!
legend!
Nice idea

Best presenter and best video on this topic on the internet
Thanks heaps 😃
where can i find all of the materials that you used
at mitre 10
You don't tell us where to buy it.
Hey Renee, you can pick it up from your local Mitre 10 store ^Matt
Awesome video, easy as!
So hard but I’m sure I can do it
Hey did you try it ?
😍
Do I have to measure the water pressure as well? Or just the water flow is enough?
waterflow is all you need
Thank you so much. Best explanation mate . 👍
Best tutorial, no one I've watched has mentioned the clamp thingies, I thought the pipes just held on by their own friction
Absolutely love your explanations and the accent
Nice video!
Best videos to understand setting up an irrigation system
Best video for irrigation system on the TH-cam. Thank you! Can’t wait to start my own system, save me lots of money😊
Cheers Vivien, let us know how you get on! ^Meg
Great Video Thanks!

Hi sir iam from india
I know this work i have 3 years experience in this work
Watching from the UK
excellent videos thank you.
Cheers 👍
Efficient
Thanks for the support! 🙌 ^Cam
This is the coolest sprinkler system ever. I wonder if we have this over here in the US.
Are you serious? You're acting like the US is on another planet. Of course you have it! Where do you think we get our inspiration from? 😂
Nice job
Great job! Congrats strait from Brazil!

Wtf is a liter
A litre is a metric measurement of volume. Convert to the archaic gallon measurement if you live in the US.
@@lynvoyager5976 the US has been using metric for all the important stuff since the 1800's, the people just don't know it.
Bryan - are you serious? Or are you 5 years old?
It's spelt "litre" and is a metric volume unit used in nearly every country except 2. Google it.
