I think the problem with Giant Belt is that it's a legendary, which can come up way too late in the game for players to build/pivot towards the ideal you'd analyzed in the end of this video. I think it'll be a super fun epic item.
Giant belt seems like it would be really good if you also invested a bit in burn damage, since the belt is very good at melting large HP bars but struggles exponentially more on those last few hits. If you also had a decent burn kicking in to deal with the last part of the healthbar though I think you could offset this weakness and cut through just about anything without needing to invest in any flat damage.
I think this character really scales with user skill level much more. You simply can't build a character that is tough enough to take hits and lifesteal them back or regen. Being a newer player I've found Jack quite challenging becuase I'm nowhere near as good at dodging attacks.
Also: I assume the reason buffed enemies aren’t getting massive health increases is because it’s probably additive with the 250% they already have. So like… if the buff is coded to give enemies 100% bonus health, that buff is taking the bonus from 250% to 350% which isn’t as large of a buff as 0% bonus to 100% bonus.

You should do a Soldier Lance run. It has weird interactions with the damage down, but the soldier starts with high speed that buffs them... interesting challenge run I think
One thing that I would like too see you do after the update is released, or maybe even just after looking at the new characters, is a 'Generalist Mage'. This would be half tasers, or another ranged weapon that scales with elemental damage, and lightning shiv into thunder sword. I think this would be a very interesting build that strays a lot from what many people do with generalist.
The number of babies per host not being reduced is fine. If there are 75% fewer hosts to kill in a round, that means there's also 75% fewer host babies to kill in a round.
I liked this character as well; very good for showcasing high damage weapons that struggle against hordes. I think the amount of babies spawning is balanced correctly, since the total babies in a round is tied to the total amount of hosts that are killed. If the host spawn rate is debuffed, this directly affects the babies.
After you play the other new character can you do a bunch of unique builds with Jack. I like how you play him cause it's a different play style then you usually play.

I think revolver is very good for this character with the reload mechanics because less enemies gives it more breathing. And in that same logic it would be a bad weapon for loud
Jack was my final danger 5 and i have to say i tried this same type of run made it to wave 20, 6 different times with revolvers. My damage felt so weak every time. Took me around 4 hours to beat jack, all other characters i felt have been pretty easy but not Jack. Shotguns did the trick for me finally. I think Jacks base damage to elites and bosses may need to be a bit higher that part of him just seems like it should be his identity but in reality it takes longer for him to kill them.
Looks like Revolver carries Specifically on jack. I feel on a run with 10% more enemies would struggle more. Love the run, crazy how much percentage damage you got.
Imagine the belt with 5x fast 0 dmg crit weapons and 1x your choice of a weapon with a unique effect on kill. You can use a ghost weapon of your choice for example.. It guarantees the kill and the scaling since it's always 10% it can't ever kill, even with positive damage.

I think you got very lucky this run with items offered in the shop/ stat upgrades after a wave and not getting any hordes. Don't get me wrong - you are one of the most skilled brotato players on youtube I know but i I feel you are underestimating the difficulty of this character. As reference - I have completed danger 5 with every character and I had much less problems to win a run on danger 5 with the soldier or the paficifst. Maybe my skill level decreased as I haven't played as much lately.. I don't know.. what is your experience with that character, guys?
You should have taken the sniper gun, because, with it's 4x CRIT multiplier, and 60+%chance to CRIT, plus having a base of 333 damage when you saw it, it would have been a great boss killer.
I'd say this character will get nerfed. It's completely broken when using laser guns. Because there's less enemies, the slow attack speed of the weapon isn't that detrimental. And with how high the damage scaling goes with the weapon, even the big enemies get killed really quickly. Edit: I also think the endless mode could be fun for the multitasker character.
Giant belt definitely need a buff either they lower the rarity or make the item deal max HP% DMG instead of current HP Otherwise the item is good enough in endless
Do you think Jack is blacklisted for gentle alien? If he isn't it would be interesting to see how many enemies you could tolerate with his buffs/debuffs
I think the main idea of the character is the less enemies but bulkier enemies. But if they gave that hp bonus to elites with no help, the character would be really tough. I think it's one of those things where it's not a perk meant for specialization, but to make his gimmick less dangerous
@Retromation It seems like extra work to me to code instead of just "all enemies has double health", instead of "everything has 2.5x health, elites and bosses you get a bonus against them that negates it to double health"...why make extra work from yourself
I struggle with this character so much. Probably a big skill issue but it has taken as many attempts as streamer so far, and I still haven't done danger 5. I always get overwhelmed on the early teens. I just greed too hard so prob should do that less lmao

It's very obviously geared towards endless runs where your enemies hp can get truly insane.
I think it would add a lot of use to the fast precise weapons that are low damage. Shuriken or scissors would be pretty decent with it.
Seems attack speed affects the cooldown of the revolver as well. When you took the 15% at 10:47 your purple gun CD went from 2.43 to 2.23.

slingshot run was actually quite easy. even had 2 mice and 1 gentle alien for the "only" -50% spawn rate.

we had a different idea here, I took laser on jack and focused on attack speed ha seems like the best character to use that gun

the character is not garunteed to get mini bosses, but hoard waves give you so much more money on jack. I almost preferred it to the legendary.

Laser guns are pretty good. Also more enemy items help.

I like the 6 shooter. Before the gatlin, I thought it was amazing.

Nah, I think I was just unlucky. I've heard others say they got it on him. Unless they're lying, but I doubt that.
You should do pruner farmer before its nerfed.... it's ridiculous. He completely changed how the farmer works incase you didn't notice.
