The person who got prototypes and sold them is known as MarioMario646464. He is known for collecting cels from old cartoon shows. There is alot of drama and more that happened that badnik mechanic didn't talk about in this video. Just thought I would say this.
One time I saw some Jakks Pacific prototype plushes for sale. The seller was selling sonic, tails, knuckles, Eggman, super sonic, Amy, mighty and ray. They were pretty expensive which makes sense and a lot of them were different from the final plushes.
just gonna say this I looked on eBay for prototype sonic plush and I found a listing of mighty and its literally the prototype in this vid! and I don't even know how this is possible
2:34 NOPE. WRONG. The Sonic & Tails velcro plushies had prototypes that were and still are being sold on ebay before the actual release. There were actually 2 prototypes for each plush. An even earlier pair sold at a pretty cheap price in an auction about 6 months ago and I'm really bummed out that missed them. The prototypes of the prototypes were much taller and imo looked way better than both the final releases and the later prototypes. I often think Sonic plush prototypes look better than the final product.
I was able to find the Mighty figure before things went down, but I wasn't able to find Ray. And I refuse to buy it online, because the second market always jacks up the price to ridiculous levels, especially for Sonic and Mario merchandising. As for the plushies, I HATE that vinyl material. If you somehow have these kinds of plush with those kinds of detail, they crack and peel over time.
Badnik mechanic i heard that Jackson pacífic is re release talis & egg man with diffrent emotions & the y are releasing a modern sonic plush!! Sorry if it’s long 😕
I can confirm that mighty has made it to retail I have found him at a store called meijer it's in the west of America and I'm lucky enough to be living in one of those states that carry a meijer and even luckier there was only one mighty so if someone else got him I would not have found him but I'm not the first person who has the plush a little kid on TH-cam made a video saying they got some sonic plushes and he got mighty and super sonic and he showed a tails and it was in super bad condition so I am the second person to get one

Specifically Mighty, since he was always the character from the Classic era that I wanted to return the most since he had such a cool design, and I still vividly remember flipping my crap when Mighty and Ray were revealed for Mania Plus. Now this happens, and they look *c l e a n* as all hecc. This is g r e a t.
They made a mistake. It actually happens a fair amount on the site. (Another good example is how the bootleg STF Metal Sonic plush is classed on SonicGear as an official Japan plush.)
